You do have a valid point here. But which way are we looking at things? was it the skill which made the need for the diaries, or were the diaries planned from the start - but lets not get into a debate about that. I do agree, i believe that they do work hard. I am merely posting this here to gain a different perspective. As you said the author is a butt hole, i have no comment - as i do not know him (at all). As you say here, you are quite right, maybe the author was hoping for a graphical change/update (giving the cities personality, uniqueness) rather than just making the graphic look better. You do have a a GREAT point there. I'd have to say that although your right, i was expecting more. Like that varrock update, it was so new and shiny and different - we hadn't seen anything like it before. And i was expecting the same for seers - i like the authors point of having prophesies scribbled on walls that could give hints to future updates. But for this race of seers(future-sight) i was expecting something cool, unusual and different for other towns. Well.... Where to begin really. First off i will have to agree with EVERYTHING in this article. Although *some* may be a tad exaggerated. It does show the Raw truth of runescape. *points to sig* I have quit/retired from RS, Because of many of the reasons here. I can remember when i first started off (I was in year 2), i believe that i may have been immature - abit. But NOWHERE NEAR as immature/Stupid people that is the majority of people now playing. Well, due to things i can not control I am taking a break for an indefinite period from Runescape. Since i was in Year 2 (abouts) i have played runescape. I have played runescape for around 7ish years. I have played runescape from before masks, easter eggs and santas. You may well say "your lieing, you barely have better stats than me, and i have been playing for 3 months" - I shall tell you wise words, Levels do not judge maturity, age or time. I have seen the transformation from Runescape to Runescape 2 - I remember being lost. But now it has changed. I have realised that we have gone from Runescape 2 to a newer version - Kidscape. JaGeX have designed this game for all ages, but i have been watching from the shadows. I have seen goldfarmers overtake the RS population. I have seen the sicko's who are in lumerbridge "press 111 if your a 12 year old girl" and quite frankly im ashamed. You ask what game i will move on to? Its called "Outside, new MMORPG from the creators of smash-hit game: IRL" :lol: During this week, i have realised how much time this game takes up of my life, my grades are dropping, i never "have time" for friends (not that im antisocial), i leave assessments till the last minute. Basically i have come to realise that Runescape is addictive. In my last 5 days on not playing Runescape - not only have i been looking healthier, but i have been feeling better. In my spare time, i practise my sports, martial arts, archery, but that's not all - i have joined a band which gets together at lunch and we rehearse (we don't sound too shabby). I have done this all in the space of a week. This is the trial of the MMOPRG, Outside. Im liking it, im going to keep "playing" it, also a bonus it doesn't have any side effects, besides having a great time and being healthy. : I will keep my Runescape account, items and such - so dont bother asking. Anything i have will go to my Best Friends: Boy_Power45 (riakk), McGiness (Happy123), Lonk41 (same), Sir_Jem_05 (Jemothical), Sheynara (same) and normanbiggs (Norman_Biggs). Those weren't in any particular order. As i have said before, I have Grown WITH Runescape, but now i feel i have outgrown it (I am aware older people than me play, i am not making fun of you). From all the whining and everything that happens in runescape is just getting to me. I came, I saw, I played - I outgrew. I will still hang around here, although may be not that much. That's called inflation, and I think that it can only keep happening as fast as it's happening if runescape keeps growing quickly. it really annoys me when people type like this see?? waste of space. learn to type properly. ON TOPIC: Another reason for the inflation is the finite amount - which is decreasing. This decreases by: [*:1tuerhi8] Players Banned. [*:1tuerhi8] People dropping and the item disappearing. [*:1tuerhi8] People who have vowed not to sell. Eventually (if someone had enough cash) they could hold a monopoly on the rare(s) market. Which then the price could be 2b + other rare/pricey items in the game. My two cents. ~! Necro !~
