  1. I would definately agree with a master quest, I think it's time f2p gets another quest that's actually on the level of difficulty of dragon slayer. I'm not exactly sure what the 05 update was(not to be off topic), but I think the 06 one was the stronghold of security. Not only did it inform f2pers and p2pers to keep their account safe, but it also gave them a nice amount of cash and loads of awesome monsters for really great exp(f2p that is).
  2. If einstein removed Adolf Hitler from the past, there would be no war right? So how would einstein then know to go back into the past and stop it? He wouldn't, so there would be a war. But then because of the war he would go back into the past and stop Hilter. It's all just a cycle, there's no such thing as changing time.
  3. Rather read the shorter story deio? :P I've never heard of any one those books. :|
  4. Much different, much worse for landscapes. Not as much freedom really. I have to admit some of the stuff they put in there(like how I wish the camera controls were like Rhino) is really annoying. But I like it mostly because of all the different variations of skies, not necessarly the landscape.
  5. Here are a couple of renders I took in Bryce after the final today. I could've made alot more, but I suppose four is a good number. These are all the same scenes, I'm just experimenting with different skies along with fog, haze, cloud cover, ect. (probably my favorite, I just love the color mixing there)
  6. Ok thank you, I just needed to know if this was actually better than the garden. I am extremely fast at the summer one and get them in seconds, but I was just curious about goutweed.
  7. First of all, I hope you realize the road from 50 to 91 isn't going to be that easy. Take me, for example. I am 81 runecrafting and it takes me 13 hours to get 82. Compared to fletching, it would take me only 1 hour with stringing. Expect to devote hundreds of hours of your time crafting via the abyss. Also checkout my guide, it is packed with everything you need to know about runecrafting via the abyss. At 50 runecrafting you can make well over 200k an hour with the right equipment and if you know what you're doing. I'm sure you would enjoy excitingly dodging pkers, crawling through the awry abyss, and also making an incredible gp per hour than boringly losing money runner after runner through world 16 or FFL.
  8. Thank you, so I should be able to get about 30k+ right? And if you actually mine that much you will have a mining level of 83.
  9. Yes: YOU_CANNOT_USE_PRAYER Sad, I know, but honestly if you know what you're doing it's a very easy fight. Any 85 can beat it. Melee is highly recommended, do not range or mage the first boss from a distance or his magic spells will hit HARD. Use dds specials the first hits, and then switch to a primary weapon being a dragon scimmy or a whip. You will be gobbling up your food the first fight like crazy, so bring very high level food. I brough sharks and did fine, just bring sharks or higher. As you have already mentioned also bring a super set, but drink it at the bank and store it, to have room for more sharks. During the fight don't hesitate to click your one click teleport out(I assume you are bringing one), and eat when you health falls below half. During stuffing food down your throat, you should be able to get in enough hits to kill the first boss, that's the only boss that should even be considered a threat(all the rest are very easy, straightfoward).
  10. What are the number of herbs you get from returning goutweed to Sanfew, and on average, what type of herbs does he give you? I'm trying to see if goutweed collecting will actually be a rather cheap way to train herblore.
  11. By the "blah" position would it be okay to discuss current issues in runescape? If so please sign me up for that job.

This topic is a few away from hitting page 2, I think it's safe to bump it now.
  14. I could be an adict but at least I know when I need to stop playing. I know when I need exercise and even if I'm in the middle of training I will stop.
  15. When I said "goof off", I meant be immaturely annoying. You can still goof off even in stage 4, but that is a large difference from the first. As I said this doesn't apply to everyone, it's just the general layout. Some people might start on stage 4, some might be stuck on 2, some might even skip a stage.
  16. Yes that's about right, I didn't want to include the combat levels corresponding to the stages though because I think it might be a little insulting to some players.
  17. As I said, it differs with everyone, those are just general stages. I'm not trying insulting anyone with this list.
  18. I've always thought as a runescape player, from first starting out to perhaps the day you quit, there are several behavioral stages you go through. Now not everyone goes through all these stages, some might even skip a few. Here's a list I've made up to what I think the average player goes through: Starting stage- Player starts runescape and thinks of it as just another game where you can goof around for fun, not realizing what it truly is- a very complex community. These players might be very annoying and confused, and soon start to fall for easy scams, such as trimming armor. They notice other players are shouting things like "@@@@@@@@@@@@!" or "free st0f pl0x!!11!1" or "will u be my friend?" and soon catch on to the slang language. "Slang" stage- Player soon gets a better understanding of runescape, and might travel past the borders of lumbridge. They use words such as "u" for "you" and "r" for "are". They ignore grammar and spelling and simply type what they feel like typing, neglecting players around them and thinking it's funny to annoying the hell out of them. Developing maturity stage- Player soon starts to realize as he progresses his journey through Gleinor people are ignoring him and he is not getting as much attention as he thinks. Slowly the player starts to change the way he talks, dropping many slang terms such as "u" and "r". Now such words as "lmao" and "noob" come into play alot. At some point the player might think he is much better than anyone he meets, and when he is mad uses words such as "noob" and begins to use profanity alot more. Mature Stage- Player soon starts to realize that RuneScape is not only a game- but a massive community filled with many intelligent people, and if he expects to go anywhere he has to drop many words. Such words as "wtf" and "noob" are dropped, and the player starts speaking in a mature manner. Of course not all slang is dropped, there is still such four or three letter words such as "imo" or "btw", those are perfectly okay and accepted by the community. The player generally starts acting more mature, alot less annoying, and slowly grows the respect of the community. What are the behavioral stages in your opinion?
  19. Yes I have, and honestly I did not find it that hard. I think people are over-exaggerating just a bit too much on this quest; I am combat 89 and I had no trouble at all. Sure, the first boss hit hard and often, but all you had to do was click a shark when your health was low and reattack him- that was it. I do not consider a single quest hard. One has come very close though, and that is Mornings End part 2, that quest nearly drove me insane, to be honest, but it was not hard. Beating a level 343 without prayer sounds hard right? But it really isn't, I beat it in less than a minute, and still had plenty of sharks leftover where I did not have to teleport out. I don't see how level 100+s had a hard time with this thing, it was very easy. If there was no combat requirement I would bet you I could beat it on a level 67. I'm aye-okay with skill requirements, it doesn't affect your combat at all. But what jagex has done now is like what pkers are complaining about "making pking easier", with the introduction of torsos and many other items. I beleive the only challenge you can find in quests is seeing how low level you can do it- and then showoff at the end :D. I became so happy when I beat Desert Treasure at 67, I loved the feeling. I just hoped that today many other low levels could feel that way- that they had acheived something even level 90s fear. But now jagex has placed this 85 combat requirement on the questcape, and it just disgusts me. It's the players fault if they lose items in quests, not jagex's. They should just leave quests alone. Give a few warnings on the questguide, but for gods sake don't impliment a combat requirement. Jagex is taking the challenge out of questing.
  20. Use the Search button, there's already a few threads on this topic. They've all come down to one thing to, it's not going to happen. Now I can see the point of hunter, that's fun trying to trap an animal, but I mean Archeology, that's just not going to happen. Maybe as a minigame sure, but as a total skill that would just be boring as hell; digging up things all day.

What sis the RSOF???It's starting to bother me. And if I'm the only person who doesn't know about it I'll!!! Cry. :( Oh, and hope you enjoyed the story. Thanks for the aaaaaaaaaawwwwwwwwwwwweeeeeeeeeessssssssssssooooooooooommmmmmmmmmmeeeeeeeeeeee reply! Glad you enjoyed my story, you can actually say you read it all :) , it's fairly long. :) RSOF: RuneScape Official Forums. Wow that was some annoying BBcoding...
  23. You can't just neglect low levels now because you're high. Everyone was a low level once, and I'm sure you can remember the ignorant, rude people who insulted your combat level through your journey to the high levels.
  24. 85 combat, not affecting me at all, being 89 combat. I am owner of a questcape and I think quests are a great addition to runescape; I usually do them first or second day of release without a guide. Yep that's me. But now that I look at this 85 combat requirement for this new lunar sequel I have come to realize that to now equip that shiny white questcape you have to have 85 combat. When I was level 67 and deemed myself a skiller I loved doing hard quests because they were a challenge to me being low level. I thought all the easy quests were beyond easy, so I seeked harder quests. I did Desert Treasure, Legends, Heros, and cleared all the "Plague" storyline(the only with like 10 quests) except for Mornings End part 2, which was yet to be released. Such fun I had in those days, watching a monster four levels higher than me that could hit double what I hit kneel before me. In my four months of being a level 67 I started the goal of completing all quests; it would be a nice thing to tell my friends and I would have access to virtually every teleport in the game(ectophial, ect.). Unfortunately I did not continue on this journey. I stopped doing quests mainly because I was neglecting my non-combat skills, which I really wanted to train, and construction was soon to come out. I soon grew tired of being considered a "low level" by the community and then rapidly trained my combat levels. I am now a level 89, I earned the questcape on 89 and plan to stay at 89 for a while(like 67). I knew alot of low/medium levels in my days of 67ing who also shared the same goal of all quests complete(remember there was no questcape back then). Now they would have their hopes crushed because of this one little quest released today, which requires 85 combat. I don't think there should be a combat requirement at all(I beleive there was another quest that had a combat requirement), jagex just ruined the whole challenge of questing. There is no challenge now, it is just beat the quest and you're done. Sure the quest can still be fun, but now ANY 85 can beat all the quests easily with the right equipment. I beleive there was another quest that had a combat requirement, and that should be removed too. Now, officially, the combat requirement to earn the right to weild the questcape is 85.
  25. Deio you don't have to be jealous... nub
