care for me to interrupt here.. well let me warn you first; my comments might sound a bit harsh and sometimes over the edge however it is in what ever way you interpret it. vivi you can not deny that it is wrong whatever excuse you make pointing your finger and "they do it to" isnt going to make it any better. for "thousands" of so called "gfx sites" who do it to really big things start small not to mention go to the GOOD art sites.. you dont see anyone doing what you do, check cgtalk, DA and concept art i believe. if one is not good enough to fill that space where the image is with there own art and creativity then i ask you this, why even bother making "art" if you can't do it without the help of others, if your not willing to stand above that and go solo? why? why? as for the terragen, Nadril makes his own.. so do you.. whats the point? to get at the level Nadril is with terragens is a good achievement (you still have your flaws tho) and your not quite close yet.. so what are you trying to get at here? if it looks plain without a stolen image on it.. stand above that, improve, fill up your space with your own blood, sweat and tears dont rape those 3D artists up the arse "thank you for your hard work on that 3D model ill just steal it from you now so i wont have to work!" if it came out harse i cant really say im actually sorry because im not.. but im sorry even if i dont mean it.

allright where should i start.. well you anatonmy is left something to be desired per example; shoulders dont stick out like that, thats not a human build on his torso.. (sorry for the rushyness i only spend 20 minutes on this..) the character on the left represents what a cartoony+realisme mix male character should look like in a basic form, which i believe is a style your trying to get at. (per example MxM uses this style whether he knows it or not) the character on the left.. lets call him Bill, Bill shows the basic outlines and the stick figure in him.. if you look not so closely you can see he has a stick figure in him (as does.. Jim? on the right) which kind of shows how he is made. now to me your current goal is to practice stick figures like that to an extent to getting the proportions right nearly every time you make it. now you can try and follow Jim's or Bill's stickfigure and see where you get .. Jim is easyer tho i left his arms a bit short.. then again he still needs hands. i relocated the lava river to the back.. in case the characters might break out a sweat.. and it just didnt look right. now the red-tree-shaped-stick-figured-figures (i like that word) show what the trees should be in the back ( depth) now theres a sword on the right.. and dont be mad at me.. i just wanted to draw a sword. theres more.. tho ill save that for future days however you can use it as an example of how swords look like because i dont anyone can be cut down by those swords you drew.. heavy spells the name.

i second that :lol: well actually i was sort of dead there.. on the beach.. doing nothing.. decent pixel out soon ehh i guess that can be arranged depends on your perception on soon

wow thanks :D that really helped :D ill draw it then. ive downloaded some video's of a few gigs from a few amazing artists (JH woodstock video etc.) and ill get some reference out of those instead combining some facial angles with body poses and angles. not now tho. thanks, cool nadril. perhaps ill pm you about it in perhaps a month.

a little 2 hours is all u really need. I complete most my avatars in less than 30 minutes...... and as for the sleep, work, and whatever, thats ur life and we don't need to hear about that..... if u knew u were gonna be so limited on time. why did u enter this game then.... a lil common sence would say if "I don't have the time, then why put myself on an even tighter schedule." Don't take this the wrong way, but priorities need to be set before anything else is supose to get done. Your overworking yourself. first of all im not you and dont complete anything in meazly 30 minutes ispend way more time and put way more detail in it. and in those 2 hours i tend to eat you know like people with "common sence" would do. you dont want hear about it ? fine with me but how else could i explain i dont have enough time to finish it before the end of the day tomorrow aye? i merly possted a few numbers and i didnt say what i was doing so i dont get your response. thank you for taking so little understanding. and if everyone is so tight etched to see there avvys and cant wait a day longer then they should all get there head out of there [wagon] and think somebody out there perhaps needs a day longer. i mean why the ... do you need a list of who's done and not why does it matter some are done some are not we have to wait a little longer so what, your avatar isnt going to be any less. i mean [bleep] ill finish it so dont give me any of the "if you knew you had a tight schedule then why did you enter?" i entered because i was asked to by one of my friends that entered this competition. and i didnt know ill be busy from before did i? there.

please dont give me any of that, the only reason im not done yetis because im pretty busy in real life right now its hard for me to balance on computer hours with out-door hours because im out-doors 12 hours a day and i sleep 10 hours that gives me little 2 hours ok? and ive got orders to make to so i can only do little-little that and i going on holidays next sunday. don't accuse me of lazy-[wagon] in this one because im doing all i can to atleast finish it and even that will be one tough job for me to do.

well in the near future.. 1 month to 2 months ahead im going to play to trace the heads of people like Jimi Hendrix and Bobmarley.. etcetra to prove that you can do "renders" (i mean the incorrect yet populair term) different and make them yourself. now my question is tracing there heads legal or not or will it disprove my point? would i make a better statement if i did it from scratch? ( i can no problem but will just take me an extra two hours) im doing this well because its hard to get the point "renders" (again incorrect yet populair term) at RV, and i want to make a contribution to that point. that and if the time comes (if it will) i will need a good abstract artist or something close to it to do the background, i dont have that much skill at abstract grunge backgrounds i mean just check that grunge sig i made few pages back. o well not such simple topic after all.. edit: i will do this pro-deo tho.
