You just have to take the time = money factor in consideration. For instance if you want to raise your smithing with 5000 Iron Bars, it would be much faster making the nature runes that equal the value of the 5000 bars instead of gathering the ore and smelting them all yourself. I do think it's very admirable what you're doing though :) .

Got both on tasks today, was a long time since I'd gotten a whip so I sold it straight away but I'm definitely hanging on to the amulet for a while! :)

What I thought the first 10 seconds but now I'm digging it, especially the special attacks. :)

Had a good trip at Abyssal Demons, this was the loot from about 24 superset doses, and this is probably discovered before but you get a different message when you finish a Summoning potion than when you finish any other ones.

My friends used to know but then they knew I quit a year ago but I never told them I was playing again, I'd never tell them.

The new Megadeth album, I'm anxious to hear Chris' solos and if they decide to do another political theme (which I hated) with their lyrics, and when they will release it. I think they said in February, which means that they will probably tour again and maybe headline on a Belgian festival.

Well I was already 95 Slayer before Summoning came out and I had used around 1K of each already to get a few summoning levels to get to 56, so I think those were the charms from level 96. Damn I didn't know how expensive it was.. I must have spent at least 10m already using them all and I'm only 75 now :ohnoes:

Yep, can't believe I finally did it, 99 Slayer has always been my goal since I've started in 04. :D A little background information: I don't like to give any real life details, so I'll just say I'm from Belgium :D I started somewhere in 2004 if I remember correctly a month or so after Slayer was released. I was a free player for a few months 'till I was around level 30 and then became a member. First thing I did when I became one (after doing Lost City for Dragon Long, which I couldn't even wear yet) was get a Slayer task. It had always intrigued me when I read the discription, to be assigned a series of monsters to kill rather than just randomly killing them. I also got pretty much all my combat experience while doing Slayer, I only used Pest Control for a few Magic levels before it got changed. I still remember my first Slayer task was Ogres :) I later trained there to get 60 attack to finally be able to wear my Dragon Long. Now as my journey continued, another great achievement for me was lvl 75 because I could finally kill something on the top floor of the Slayer tower lol. Granted Gargoyles are one of my least favorite tasks now but I was still happy ;) A few months after I reached the milestone 85 Slayer. This was my inbetween goal because I'd always wanted to get free whips like everybody else and become filthy rich. Now filthy rich may be saying a bit much, but I think between 85 and 95 I have gotten around 25 or 30 whips of which the first I sold for 3M something and the last ones for around 2.1M. When I got 95 Slayer I sadly became so tired of Runescape and everything it had to offer, that I eventually graduatelly quit. When I did this after a few months I also deleted all my old RS pics because I thought I would never be coming back :cry:. I came back in september last year I think because I became curious again to see how the game had evolved, and quickly got hooked again :P Unfortunately, the weeks before I quit I was enjoying myself so much that I had spent almost my entire networth on Ice Barrage runes to play with in CWS, and only had around 5m in cash and my Guthans and whip left :oops: . Since Slayer has always been my best and favorite moneymaking way, I just started doing that again, and after seeing that you were now able to get points after you complete a task and trade those in for rewards, I was even more happy :D So now around 5 months later I went from 95 - 99 which in my eyes is really fast.. To give you an idea if you're not that familiar with Slayer, I got up at 9am today to get the last 60k experience needed for 99, and I got the level at 1pm, and that was with pretty good tasks too.. I don't feel like calculating how much that is per hour, but it's really slow :ohnoes: Since Imageshack is being weird and telling me that all my pictures have an unacceptable file format, I'll try to upload the ones that work. Drops, levels, best of bank, ...: [hide=] [/hide] Did everything with a Whip and a Rune Defender, never really to buy a Godsword 'cause they always seemed so slow to me which made me think that a Whip would be faster experience anyway. Thanks Nop Noob for coming, most of my friends I had know for a long time quit in the time I quit, and thanks everyone in Forsakenmage clan chat for entertaining me ;) What's next? Well I'm gonna use up all my charms and raise my embarrassing Summoning level :lol: I have 4k Gold, 3k Green, 3K Crimson and around 800 Blues so I'll see where it takes me. For the rest.. I think I'll get 90 prayer too and I've been liking Runecrafting too for a while so I'll raise that a bit, and try to get all my skills to 70 and up. It wouldn't surprise me though if I just continue Slayering after a while, I still like it and it makes good money and charms :D .

Not a tweak, but a very usefull update that would make everybody happy is assigning spots to people and putting a cap on it that can't be overriden unless the player who was there first gives you permission. For instance you're doing Kalphites (with or without a cannon) and some guy shows up and just starts killing them with you, sometimes even places his cannon right next to yours. Hope that's well explained, 'cause that (in my eyes) is a tweak that needs assistance.

Been wanting this for a while now, pretty much everything's done on Slayer tasks :D Thanks everyone in chat for coming, don't have alot of friends left, they all quit when I quit for a year :(

I quit about a year and a half ago and came back on september, reason that I quit was simply because I was bored, not because I needed better grades or anything (even though I was playing at least 8 hours a day back then). Now I'm playing responsibly a few hours a day, and I'm currently in my exam period and am studying every day. I like having RS to relax me during study breaks because there's not much else to do in the winter if you want to relax 30 minutes. It's always more constructive than watching TV which is basically turning your mind off and staring.
