The anatomy looks great! It really looks like her too :thumbsup: Although I'm not a huge fan of smudging when it comes to digital painting, it usually turns out pretty messy. I usually prefer blocking out the basic colours, then blending using lower opacities and flow. That way you can easily control the blending of the colours and make it look slightly cleaner. If you want to smudge, that's fine, but it takes a lot of practice to master. I think that the left cheek (our left, her right) looks nice. I'd work on cleaning up the chin and nose, especially blending the colours with the cheek better. From right to left, right now it's like brown, light brown, pink/red, back to brown. I think it could use a cleaner transition. As for hair.. I always found it to be the trickiest part :wall: In terms of colours/shades, using the brush tool, follow the 'flow' of the hair (start at the top and work your way down, in terms of strokes). Then blend as necessary. Though there are a few ways of going about it, that's just what I like best. As for whether or not you should get a tablet, it's not about potential, but dedication and personal preference. I've been digital painting for several years now and don't use a tablet. Why? I don't like it. I feel like I have more control with a mouse. But some people love tablets, whether they're especially gifted or not. So it's really up to you :) If art is something that you'd love to make a career out of, then perhaps try out a friend's or go down to the store to see if they'll let you try theirs out. If you like it, get one of your own :D

No, it's just spending ~100m :XD: Right now, I'm doing the following: - I started out buying about 3k toadflax for 2k ea, 5k water-filled vials for 250 gp ea and 3k bird nests for 2k ea - Now I have used the supplies to make 3k sara brews - I trade those sara brews for more toadflax - Make gp to buy more w/f vials and bird nests - I have about 50k more pots to make until 99, so if I'm only spending money on bird nests and vials (and just keep trading sara brews for toadflax), then that's a little over 100m that I need - Assuming I keep doing that, I'll have 3k pots left at the end to sell, giving me somewhere between 6m and 9m in return (which almost makes up for the cost of all the vials) Hope that makes sense :uhh:

Do you realize how much work/effort that would take on our part? :? As a moderator we already have a lot to do, try adding on a whole other forum and have to read every single post on every single thread, clean of the unnecessary or spammy posts day in and day out.. It's a lot of work. We have lives that we need to attend to as well :wall:

Thank you! :D:D I'd love to RC forever, trust me! :lol: I'm never on RS after six or seven PM, Monday through Thursday. Technically I'm not allowed on the computer at all after dinner Monday through Thursday (because my parents want to 'encourage me to do HW,' but they won't even let me on when I'm done with it :wall: ), but Tip.it is a lot easier to sneak onto (since it's just a website) than RS. With RS I'm constantly going through the wilderness and the abyss.. so if my parents come in while I'm in the abyss.. I'll have to abandon RS for a while and if enough times goes by, I'm pretty much dead on RS :wall: Wowie! Enough rambling. That was a much longer explanation than it needed to be, haha. I'll do more runecrafting tomorrow :lol:

Thanks you guys!! :thumbsup: \ Got this about an hour ago: Almost out of supplies so it's back to runecrafting until I have enough gp for level 90! :thumbsup: That's 7.6k sara brews to 90, which means I need about 17m or so for bird nests and water-filled vials, which is 57k nats. I'm hoping to trade all my sara brews for toadflax, so I don't have to buy them. Assuming all goes well, I should have that gp made by the end of this coming weekend! :thumbsup: Although there is a small obstacle that I must overcome.. the insane amount of essays and projects that are due this week or next week :wall: Side note: Was just RCing for about an hour. Almost 4k nats done!

I'm actually knowingly being merchanted quite frequently :XD: I usually overpay for my supplies so I can get it in bulk faster. I don't mine it :P EDIT: Same here :) Just because I like to get skills done quickly. Over buy so I can get my supplies fast and under sell so I can get the product off my hands and start over :XD:

Yes, you do have to get your 'favour' up each day by clearing weeds or cutting maples, etc. But you usually only have to regain a few favour points each day (like 2-3 a day).
