Thanks from a tip from a friend, I've been making Oak Dungeon Doors, which are about 20% faster than larders, I'd say. I just got about 410k xp, which leaves me 282k xp from 99 :lol: :lol:

I believe New York is GMT-5, so three hours ahead.

Well I'm ready to make the final run to 99 construction :D Have all my gp ready and even used up 400 planks tonight (it's 1:30 am, I'm tired :P). Depending upon how things to tomorrow, the party might even be moved to Friday night! :lol:

I really don't think you should force your way into this one way or the other. Many skillers I see are determined to keep their combat level under 100, even if they really want to train it, just so it makes their stats look even more impressive. Don't worry about getting a high combat level if it's what you want to do. You can still be a skiller with a high combat level in the 100s. Don't feel as if it must remain under 100 in order for you to be a skiller. Afterall, I consider myself a skiller and I'm level 105. Just do whatever you want. Runescape is meant to be fun. Don't go by the stereotypes that have been set down by other players. Step to your own beat.

Well I have all my planks bought and about 400k gp for the butler so far! Going to make 1k more nats later tonight and get started tomorrow :D

Larders are actually very fast :) ~100k-200k xp per hour. I have all the essence and I'm actually almost done!! I need to make about 2k more nats, then I can buy all the planks I need. Then I need an additional 3k nats or so to pay the butler. I should be able to start constructing by either tomorrow or Wednesday! At this rate, my party will be on Friday :| I'll update my sig after 99 :wink:

I'm making nats to afford to pay for construction :wink: I'm already rank 47 :) By the time I'm done with construction for good (or at least for now), I will be in the top 21 :D

Well both dragon and barrows armour have always been "doomed to drop." Just because there are more and more of them being introduced into the game every day. However, other than the steady decline, I doubt there will be any major price changes. ..Except for the possible release of Hunter, which might affect item prices in certain areas.

The butler usually takes about 5 seconds to turn your logs into planks. He charges the normal amount that you would pay going to the sawmill yourself plus an additional 10k gp every 10 trips for his service fee.

As I already said on my thread, I agree entirely. Some people think I'm just stupid for not being able to fish sharks or for only having 66 slayer or even just for having a combat level that is thought to be disproportional to my total level. It bugs me when people come up to me and say, "You should get 76 fishing, why don't you have it?" Simple answer: I think fishing is boring. Lol. Anyway, nicely written :)

This certainly was a nice thing to come back to! :D I am very honored by your kind words, I appreciate it. I still remember when I was level 1 construction, not too long ago.. In perhaps early August. And you're right, never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect to get 99, let alone in the top 50 (and soon in the top 21 :oops: )! And I completely agree with you about how people should train the skills they enjoy. Like how most people get 99 fletching/cooking first because it's the easiest, cheapest or because they would be looked down upon if they don't have such easy lvl 99s.. I didn't get 99 fletching to "join the croud." In fact, when I got it, only about 500 people or less had it. I got 99 because I enjoyed it. Same with my herblore (haha) and now construction. Some people think I'm crazy for spending 100m+ on a "useless" skill such as construction, but I'm proud of it. I enjoy the skill, I enjoy having a semi descent house. So I see no reason why I shouldn't have gotten 99 construction. Thanks again for your kind, supporting words. And have fun fishing!! :P
