Hehe thank you!! :D Hey :) I remember you from my "Rate My House" thread :) Rebuilding/redesigning my house is something that I've never done. I've maintained the same house design (with the one exception of deleting my second story) since I first started construction. However that does have its downsides.. My house has several 'dead ends' which is unfortunate.

You have to register at http://www.runemonkey.net/. They basically take a 'screenshot' of your high scores at midnight, then another 'screenshot' at midnight 24 hours later and compare the two :) Thanks!! :D Have fun with that 300k essence :shock:

Runescape has also been slow/laggy for me lately... Which is a huge disappointment because it really slows down whatever I'm trying to do.

I agree completly, PKing at abyss is the lowest form of pking. All they do is attack a person who cant do anything back. We don't even have prayer for christ's sake. We have no defence other than d'hide and sara book. I also feel its a waste of time for them. I can make about 1mil an hour(rcing) buti these people? They get what, 2-3 glories an hour if they're lucky? All they do is make RCers abgry, lose our pouches, d'hide, God books, picks, boots, glories, rings, and TIME!!! Lol I agree. The most amusing part about RC PKers is that they're sitting there watching us make 300k - 1.4m gp an HOUR, while they make 0-1m gp A DAY? It's like "Hey, I'll watch this person get immensely rich. Everytime they pass by, I WASTE runes on them by trying to entangle them, yet every time they get away. The next time they come back, they're at least 15k gp richer, while I just get poorer, from WASTING these runes."

Well my argument is actually a bit different from that. I don't think that we RCers shouldn't be killed just because we have nothing of value, because we do. We have a little under 100k worth of items when we're RCing (the typical abyss RCer anyway). In fact, I don't even think that we shouldn't be PKed, it's just that it is overall pathetic when people PK us. Sure, go ahead and do it, but it's a pathetic action. Some people make the argument that we RCers actually can attack back and that we really aren't defensless. Technically, it is true, we can attack back. But does that make it an equal fight? No. If the RCer carries a weapon and a shark is that a fair fight against a PKer with 1-2 weapons, runes for snare/TB spells, super sets and a full inventory of sharks? No. We can't carry all that extra 'stuff' in our inventories because we need room for pouches and esssence. So yes, we can put one shark in our inventory and equip a weapon, but will that make it an equal fight? No, it will not. Also, I'd say about 95% of RC PKers aren't PKers at all. They have no skill in PKing and most of them probably haven't killed someone past level 15 wildy. They just say "Hey, I'm a bit bored and a bit low on money. I'm gonna go sit in level 5 wildy and kill someone who's defenceless and minding their own business." How do we know this? It is clearly displayed when the RCer banks in Edgy, gets out proper PKing equipment and goes back to the Zammy Mage to attack the PKer who attacked them in the first place. At least in my personal experience, who usually wins the fight? Well, the RCer usually would win, but in most cases the innitial PKer ends up running away/teleing anyway, which clearly shows that they're just cowards. That what brings me to my final, personal conclusion, that RC PKers are just cowards. Their reason for RC PKing is that they're a bit bored, are looking for a "good time," and are perhaps, a bit short on cash. They therefore decide to take advantage of someone who is entering the wildy with about 100k worth of items and wants to take it from them. Why don't they go pick a fight with someone in lvl 40 wildy with an abyssal whip? Because they're scared. They know that they don't have any real PKing abilities, and they're afraid to engage in a real, fair fight because they don't want to lose any of their items. They just want to take everyone else's. The only way that they can ensure that they won't die and that they'll earn money (even if it's a pathetically minimal amount) is by killing people who have no real weapon, no super sets, no proper protection and don't have a full inventory of sharks.

Thought this might interest a few people: I also took one for Thieving in which I was in both the Daily Top Skills High Scores and the Daily Top 5 High Scores (overall xp). Only got the screenshot for skills high scores though: I'll also update my list of random events now :)

In a bit I'll do a universal (I use different siggies on different forums) siggy update, lol :) Once I finish all my planks, I'll be about 130k xp past level 95. From there, I'll need about 69k more planks, which is about 34.5m. Including the gp for the Butler, I'll need about 37m gp. The pure essence I already have will get me about 11m. So I'll need about 26m more after that. But I'll also need to start buying more pure essence, so I'll need to make about 130k more nats.... ....Bringing the grand total to about 166k nats :shock: Assuming I did a ton of dedicated no lifing Runecrafting over the upcoming weekends, I could have the gp made pretty quickly. But we'll see :)

Actually having the cape and the emote is my last reason for getting 99 construction. As some people who saw my thread a few months ago may know, I've been aiming for 99 construction for a long time, just never finally got around to it. But with the completion of 99 thieving and the release of the capes of achievement, it's been some sort of motivation for me to finally finish what I started in early August or so. So I guess the reason I want 99 construction is the same reason why anybody would want any level 99 (before the CoA). Just the pride and personal satisfaction of achieving the highest level in a certain skill :) And, of course, just because I enjoy the skill. And that's what Runescape is for right? Enjoyment? :)

Perhaps. Ironically, I actually have very little patience. I guess it depends on which way you look at it. I'm terrible at long term goals, that's why I tend to no-life a lot of things on Runescape, because I don't have the patience to get a level 99 over the time of a few months, I have to get it ASAP... If that makes sense. I would show you a bank picture, but it's not very impressive or interesting. I was hacked on October 1st and lost a few things that would lighten it up.. to say the last. But if you still want to see one, I suppose I could take a pic later :P

It costs around 100m or so assuming you don't plank your own logs. There are probably many gaps because anyone who gets over level 93 (at level 93 you can make everything) is probably aiming for 99 anyway. And once they get to 98, they're so close to 99 anyway that they're not even motivated to stop. Not many people have a high construction level, so I'd say that many of the people who already have 97 or 98 can afford the rest of the level and are pretty anxious to get it. Especially with the release of the capes of achievement.
