  1. Thieving used to be one of the slower skills, but ever since Pyramid Plunder, it's right up there with cooking and construction (xp-wise). After level 71, it's about 150k - 250k xp per hour :? But thanks!! Hey Lego!! :D Long time no talk. Pretty much everything in my sig was taken  What do you need it for? :o I'll let you know if i get another, lol. Thanks!! It should work out that way perfectly. I wouldn't be surprised if 70 farming actually got me 1800 skill total. Thanks Happy! I hope I can! --- Aaaanyway! I'm hoping I'll be able to get level 87 today or at least close to it. I should have about 2-3 hours tonight to thieve, and if I concentrate, I should get it done.
  2. It's alright. Thankfully they didn't know my pin, but I was pretty much wearing all the expensive stuff  Good luck with 99 firemaking :D I tried to get 90 once, got bored after 3 levels, lol. Thank you! :D And yeah, 61 is a good starting level. I hope so :) The Sceptres allow you to teleport to the various pyramids. The most important ones, I'd say, are the Pyramid Plunder pyramid and the pyramid from Desert Treasure ;)
  3. Sounds good to me, just got 83 and so far ive got 2 sceptres and one was from room 1 lol Wow nice! :D
  4. 1) I don't know how fast the xp will be at 32, but you can give it a try :P At level 32 you can thieve in two rooms right? Since you have so much time, I would recommend searching the urns in both of those rooms and the chest. Then exit the pyramid (since you should have a ton of time left over) and start again. 2) Well here's what I bring in my inventory: -9 antipoisons -The rest sharks Make sure you wear no armour (or dragon hides if you must, because of scarabs), bring a ring of dueling or glory ammy to tele and wear boots of lightness. 3) This probably sounds lame, but I don't even know how to get there, lol  I just use my sceptre to tele directly to the pyramid. The only time I ever walked there was my first time at Pyramid Plunder and I just followed my boyfriend, lol. I'm pretty sure Dork has a map on his guide? :?
  5. Of course I want it :P I was hacked on October 1st and since then I've been a bit... anti expensive skills, lol. But if I can bring myself to do it, 99 construction is my top priority after 99 thieving :D And no, he hasn't yet :P He's still 93. He offered to let me catch up to him than race me from there though :P I know :P I believe I stated somewhere on my first post that I get 150k - 200k xp per hour :P The main reason why I'm getting 99 thieving is because it's fun and for the first time in a very long time, I don't' have to worry about gp issues, lol (I'm obsessed with all the expensive skills). I couldn't agree more :) And thanks!! Sounds great! Good luck to you as well! I'm always in world 31, so feel free to drop by. Have you gotten many sceptres yet?
  6. For Level 86, you need 182,489 XP Assuming I lay off the forums a bit, I'll get that tomorrow for sure :) I think it's time to pack it in for the day. A few hours of homework still awaits.
  7. Pfft, it's fun :) Ever try Pyramid Plunder? It's also good with friends, you can race eachother. I hope I can do it. I need a few more 99s :? Lately I haven't been able to stick to one skill. As previously mentioned I've just been going back and forth. I hope I can actually complete this goal! :D
  8. Hey there Ora! :D Fancy meeting you here. Thanks for the support, it's greatly appreciated! -- I know I just said no more forum talk, but I decided it's a great way to restore my energy between games  By the way, cool people forget to check for snakes on their second to last level :D
  9. I recommend reading Dork Punker's guide as to what to do for Pyramid Plunder. Basically, to sum it up: -Search the chests in every room -Just check for snakes (don't search) the room before your max room -Check for snakes AND search the urns in your final (max) room -Use anti poison or super anti poison -Bring sharks/monkfish/lobs (2 sharks for every 1 anti poison potion) As for where to train, what you suggested is good. Get to level 61 on knights (it shouldn't take long) and then Pyramid Plunder. I'm guessing you'd get about 100k xp an hour on Pyramid Plunder if it's done correctly. I'm glad you approve :) I've been juggling between skills lately (construction, to runecrafting, to prayer to farming) and finally settled on something new that I'm very happy with. Well thieving is very fast and very easy :) It actually didn't take that long either.. Not even a full day. I started at 9:00 pm and ended about 100k xp from 85 at maybe 1:00 am. Then finished off 85 the next morning. Something like that. I used to hate thieving as well. Mainly because of the repedative clicking. But my opinion has clearly changed since I got into Pyramid Plunder :P Okay enough forum talk now.. Back to theiving!!
  10. It's a lot quicker than knights o.O Particularly at higher levels, thieving using Pyramid Plunder is right up there with cooking and construction for xp per hour (150k - 250k) whereas thieving knights is probably like 40k - 100k. I've had insane luck with Sceptres so far. I've gotten 4 or 5 going from 77-85. I know this one guy who didn't get any going from 93-99 :? I'd imagine it is o.O I've only ever walked to the Pyramid once, ever since then I've had my handy dandy Sceptre. Anyway, thanks for the support! :D Thieving/farming will finally get me 1800 skill total (1796 atm).
  11. For Level 86, you need 292,309 XP Got like 40k xp. I'm going for a walk now, the sunshine calls

I first started playing RuneScape in 2004. I have always strived to challenge myself in RuneScape. When I first created my blog on October 8th 2006, I started my first challenge of 99 thieving. I got from level 84 to 99 in about two weeks. From that point on out, my determination and drive increased exponentially, allowing me to complete several other goals in the game. Outside of RuneScape I am a web designer, macro photographer, a casual artist, a gamer (God of War <3:), and an avid reader/movie watcher. Thank you for choosing to view my blog, and I hope I will gain your support :) Now onto my skills/goals: My 99's: Stats - 01 January, 2oo9 Current Stats: The goals that have been achieved outside of this blog are: 99 fletching - 5 June, 2oo5 The goals that have been tracked and achieved in this blog are: 99 thieving - 359th to 99 on October 22, 2006 - Page 8 99 construction - 46th to 99 on 17 November, 2006 - Page 21 91 runecrafting - on 5 May, 2007 - Page 64 99 herblore - 207th to 99 on 19 June, 2007 - Page 112 99 smithing - 3362th on 10 March, 2009 - Page 169 POH complete/"maxed" - 5 March, 2010 99 cooking - 18 September, 2010 99 runecrafting - 8,966th on 30 March, 2011 - Page 189 99 prayer - 38,010th (inaccurate due to F2P removed from high scores) on 20 February 2012 - Page 205 99 woodcutting - on 4 December, 2012[/hide] [anchor]25mconstruction[/anchor] [hide=25m Construction XP]--> Introduction // The Plan <-- This goal officially started on January 11, 2009 but nothing ever really came of it. I'll be camping at ivy since it's easy to watch a movie or something while I get woodcut xp! :P --> Progress <-- [/hide] [anchor]poh[/anchor]--> My House <-- I have 99 construction, so the question, "May I see you house?" pops up quite often. So, I will share with you my house :^_^: [hide=My House - 7 February 2o1o (many pictures)]The entrance to my house. From this view you can see two gardens north of the portal, one with a Large Fountain and the other with a Dungeon Entrance. To the left of the garden with the Large Fountain is yet another garden. To the left of the entrance portal is my chapel. Everything is maxed out here! West of the chapel is my study. Again, everything nice and gilded in this room. I skipped over my quest hall, but you can see it in this screenshot (the room with the opulent rug). The main room featured here is my skill hall. My Rune Armour is missing but I will build it in soon! The main attraction in this room are my King Black Dragon heads! Aren't they lovely? Here we have the portal chamber. Only the best! Those marble portals took a big chunk of change out of my pocket! To the east of this room (it is cut off in the picture, but it isn't deserving of its own screenshot imo) is my workshop. It's a pretty boring room, but I thought I'd mention its existance since I'm not going to bother screenshotting it. This is the butler's room. Not much to report on, just a maxed out bedroom. Here we have the costume room! All items are top of the line.. though the contents of these chests are lacking, if I may say! You can see two rooms in this screenshot: the kitchen and the dining room. Both rooms are maxed out except for those pesky wall decorations. For some reason they're still teak, I don't think I ever realized.. they will be upgraded to gilded soon! You also get a lovely view of the gardens! Now this is the master bedroom (or my bedroom!). Once again, everything is top of the line. The second door to the master bedroom leads out to a private garden with a lovely marble wall. The garden is still lacking a Large Fountain but it will arrive soon! This room is directly north of the dining hall and west of the garden featured in the above screenshot. This is the home of my beautiful demonic thrones! *snuggles them* They fit right in with my Zamorak decorations. Everything here is top of the line except for the trapdoor, which is mahogany. When I built this room there was a glitch (I think it was a glitch) with the Greater Magic Cage that allowed someone to teleport people to places in the wildy, etc. No idea if that's fixed, but maybe I should look into it so I can upgrade that. Into the depths! Directly below the throne room we have the oubliette with a fierce Rocnar! I have thought of changing him out for a flame pit, since last I checked, that did more damage to players than Rocnar, who is a bit of a wuss. But we'll see. Eventually I'd like to put a Hellhound or Troll Guard in here. South of the oubliette we can see three monsters: a wimpy Hobgoblin Guard (which has to go! XD) and two Troll Guards. There are also some fun decorations on the walls! This is treasure room #1, which features a magic chest, various decorations and a Kalphite Soldier. I think I'd like to upgrade the soldier to a Dagannoth eventually, or possibly another Steel Dragon (which you'll see later!), but variety is nice so I may go with the Dagannoth. A few rooms west of the first treasure room is the second, with a much more fierce Steel Dragon! He's secretly a softy. A bit north now we have a baby red dragon and another chapel. This chapel has a story similar to my staircase.. the reason why it's not fully maxed out is because I feel like a dungeon is supposed to be.. well dark and rugged rather than gilded and full of marble. I have considered upgrading it anyway, but we'll see. [/hide] [hide=My House - 10 July, 2oo6 (many pictures)] The entrance portal, several magic trees. My formal garden, including a Large Fountain. Backwards garden with backwards dungeon entrance. (When I created the garden, I wasn't given the option to rotate it, so the dungeon entrace faces north instead of south) Yet another garden, I know what you're thinking, when will they end? My chapel, complete with my ruined Zamorak Symbol (notice how the blood is practically invisible) Quest Hall, which is relatively boring, I might add. It's only purpose is to provide me with unlimited glory ammy teles. My incomplete, unrefined portal room (I will change the portals to marble when I feel like emptying my pockets). Although it does have a nice Scrying Pool. My workshop, as good as it gets. The butler's room. That's my excuse for it being so... Yeah.. :anxious: Boring games room, what do you expect? Kitchen.. Nothing to brag about Dining room.. Incomplete... Don't want to discuss it. Finally! A room that looks nice! Everything is top notch :3> My throne room has no throne, simple as that. My reason being.. I have no reason. I'm cheap. Dungeon time!! Starting with the Oubliette: Bone Cage, Hanging Skeletons, Skull Torches, Rocnar, what more could you want? :) I know.. A hellhound! Hopefully in the future.. Junction #1.. Hobgoblin.. Yeah.. Stairs leading to the dungeon entrance in my garden. Corridor, with my pet Baby Red Dragon. And hanging skeletons, of course. Just south of this corridor is another junction, but I didn't bother taking a pic because there are no monsters in it. Incredibly incomplete Treasure Room :anxious: No comment.[/hide] [anchor]log[/anchor]--> Daily Log <-- I'll probably never remember to update this, but I'll give it a go. 13. I've seen that glitch! I had a screenie of it but deleted it a few days ago  This girl wearing the new outfit was sitting on a bench in my dining room, and she was "levitating" to the point where her feet were on the table :P
  14. I could have sworn that 91 was strictly a "double nature rune" crafting world. But I could be wrong :?
  15. I will. It's 1000 times harder to find the ingredients for 10k or more Sara Brews or ranging pots than it is for a large amount of yew longs. You would have to spend weeks buying enough ingredients for 99 herblore, and probably years to actually collect enough herbs, vials, and seconds yourself. By contrast, someone on this board proved that it is possible to get from 1-99 fletching in 2 days, if you have the money. Thats right, 2 days. It takes months to get 99 herblore. The exp from the pots might be the same, but actually getting the ingredients for those pots takes forever. Unless you have some magical source of crushed bird's nests that gives you 1k of them every day. I'm guessing that's the key point of what you're saying.. And quite honestly, that's very exaggerated. I'm currently at 83 herblore and I have no problems whatsoever buying the ingredients to get there. In addition, a smart person makes pots while they're buying materials, which makes the process even faster. Furthermore, if you overpay by even 50 or 100 gp per ingredient (which only counts towards losing large amounts of money before you can make Sara Brews) you'll have everyone selling to you. All it takes is the correct approach. If you decide to go the difficult, yet sometimes profitable route of prayer potions, yes, you are going to have major difficulties. Why? Because everyone does it.. Everyone wants ranarrs, which makes them very hard to buy unless you overpay. Runescape is all about pleasing the people. Give them what you want and you'll succeed immensely. I'm not saying that herblore is always cheap. Herblore just requires a bit more... brain power than fletching does. Learn which pots to make, when to make them, how much to pay for ingredients, etc.. Master those aspects and you can easily level very fast. I went from level 60 to 80 in about three days. I know that's not the same as going from 1-99 fletching in two, but my example isn't exactly the best. I didn't have much gp to start out with, I didn't play very long and I didn't know which potions were the best to make. But for someone with very little knowledge of the skill, I'd say that's pretty good.
  16. i'd say 5 times worse, 99def = 1 skill, getting 126 cb = 99str,att,def,hp,prayer = 5 skills 8-) But prayer is much harder (in terms of it requiring a lot of gp), especially since the release of PC.. Now that combat is extremely easy/fast. So I'd say prayer counts for at least 2 ;) :-w
  17. Doesn't mean its hard just means people aren't dropping that amount of money into it. exactly, I calced iut and it cost around 60-100mil on willow trees. It really depends on which way you look at it, in my opinion. The actual farming skill itself is easy.. Assuming you do trees and/or herbs all the way, there is very little effort required. Plant a few times a day, check health and do something else in the meantime. Takes like an hour tops. However, for many people, making the money that is required for 99 farming can be difficult. It's like saying, "Construction is easy. The only reason why very few people have it, is because nobody wants to spend that much money on one skill." Sure, that is the case in many situations (people who already have the money for it, I mean). But there are hundreds of people out there, I'm sure, who would like to have 99 construction, yet the process of making ~110m is difficult for them. Same thing with farming, prayer, etc..
  18. construction.. that was a joke right? Fletching, you never even have to leave that 1 spot in the bank. Plus you make a lot more money then cooking. Construction is one of the fastest skills on Runescape, assuming you have all the gp necessary (about 110m or so, I believe..). I average about 200k xp per hour. That's right up there with cooking.
  19. if herblore is so fast, why do only 67 people have it? Coocking is fast, and so is fletching. If you have the level to make yew longs, it's also quite profitable. 1) It takes a lot of money to actually get to the level where you can start actually making money instead of losing it. 2) Most people, including several on this thread, see Herblore as a waste of money and an overall slow skill (when really it's not) and therefore just don't bother training it. Also, you're mainly just saying that herblore is slow ("if herblore is so fast"). Honestly, do the math... Here's an example comparing fletching Yew Longbows (lvl 70) to making Ranging Pots (lvl 72) Yew longs (u) = 75 xp Yew longs (s) = 75 xp -- 150 xp Unfinished ranging potion = 0xp Ranging potion = 162.5 xp -- 162.5 xp As you can see, Ranging Potions are actually faster than yew longs. Both skills, fletching and herblore require two steps: Fletching -Cutting logs (half the xp; yew longs = 75xp) -Stringing the bows (other half of the xp; yew longs = 75xp) Herblore -Making the unfinished potion (0xp) -Finishing the potion by adding the second ingredients (full xp; ranging pots = 162.5xp) As you can see, Herblore is exactly like stringing bows, and fletching in general. Now when you get up to Sara Brews where you can actually make 500 gp - 1k gp profit per potion, the xp gets even better and you make money. Sara brews are 180 xp per potion Weapon Poisons are even 190 xp per potion Now try to tell me that Herblore isn't as fast as Fletching?
  20. Having quite a few high leveled friends myself, I doubt that 60% of people turn their chat off :P But I agree with the basics of your point. Most people who will have those capes probably won't be greatly affected by it. Because people with high skills adapt to being asked tons of questions and accept the fact that they will get the occasional insult or "no lifer" comment. They learn to ignore and accept it. Or in some people's cases, insult back :ohnoes:
  21. I agree 100%. In most cases, when someone comments on your 99 stat, they are in awe.. They don't call you a "no lifer" or insult you. Sure, those cases do come up, but most of the time I find it to be the other way. And I believe Huta briefly mentioned the whole combat thing. Combat levels are the most apparent "skills" in runescape since they appear next to your username. When you're in a bank with a level 123-126, how often do you actually see them being called "no lifers?" At least for me, not very often. Most of the time I see people admiring them, asking them questions or sometimes even just ignoring them. Slightly offtopic, but I'd like to commend on the phrase "no lifer." Sure, if you see someone with 99 runecrafting or something, they could have spent two weeks runecrafting for 24 hours a day. Or, they could have been runecrafting for two years, playing runescape 2 hours a day. Would that be considered no lifing? I don't understand how people look at someone with a 99 stat (or even a stat that's just exceptionally high) and assume that they played runescape 24 hours a day to get to that point. Has it ever occured to them that it could have taken that person months or years to get there?
  22. Well technically you can buy hundreds of thousands of cannonballs to make it much easier/faster. But yes, it still takes time. If you weren't lucky enough to have rares to trade in for cannonballs, cannoning all tasks is less and less affordable. Anyone trying for 85 much less 99 slayer today without disposable rares for ammo will have a long and hard goal ahead ofthem. Even if they have all the knowledge to efficiently slay them. Also even if you have money, cannonballs only speed up tasks by 20-30 minutes and in the end no matter what you put in much more effort than many other skills on your way to the 99. You guys are definately taking what I said the wrong way... I'm not saying that being able to spend money on cannonballs will get you 99 slayer in a month.. Because I know that's not going to happen. I'm just trying to throw out the idea that there are minor ways in which large amounts of gp can increase the amount of xp you get per hour. As previously said, the skill is not completely buyable.. It does require a lot of time and effort. But having a lot of gp to buy cannonballs with can definately speed up the process. No, its just that its always the average statted low levels who run off at the mouth who are trying to claim that our skill is less impressive when they have no idea how much effort went into it. Other than Zezima, who is a beast, nobody else dared continue on with slayer once they got 85, as the whips were just too profitable. It took almost a year and a half for people to start maxing the skill. Me personally, and I only cannoned when I could afford it, it took me a LONG time to max the skill. It definitely isn't buyable as you are letting on. I wrote the book on it and the only slayer tasks that are overly affected by a cannon is Dagganoths, and Kalphites. For all my other suggested spots it is just some additional luxury but in the end really doesnt speed anything up to the point where it becomes effortless, or in your words, buyable. Those that earned it don't really like a low level telling them that they bought their levels. The more you talk, the more noobs believe you, and the more people will be unimpressed because some eloquent low level said it was a buyable skill on Tip.it. The only impressive totally buyable skill will be Prayer. The impressive unbuyables will be Slayer>Agility>Mining. Any skill cape, even fletching, will be an awesome display and Im glad they are coming out. Instead of sticking your nose up at certain people for whatever reason, appreciate that they put in the time an effort to attain the highest level for whatever skill they display. \ However, I'm not "letting on" that it's buyable. I never flat out said, "Slayer is a buyable skill." All I said, or even implied was that with the assistance of gp, the skill can become easier and slightly faster. People were saying that Slayer was the most impressive because there are no ways in which money can assist you or affect the amount of xp you get. I simply wanted to say that there are small ways in which money can affect the amount of xp you get. Again, I am not trying to say that the skill is buyable. I'm just showing that there are some aspects of the skill in which money can be of assistance.
  23. lmao, theiving the fastest? Cooking, plain and simple, just cook and trade for raw, easy as that. I wouldn't be laughing :P Thieving, when it comes to Pyramid Plunder (especially at high levels, is very fast. Depending upon your level, you can easily get anywhere from 50k - 250k xp per hour, which at it's peak, is right up there with cooking. So if you use Pyramid Plunder, Thieving does become very fast. Other fast ones are Fletching, Cooking, Herblore (if you have a bit of money to spend, but you can make it all back with Sara Brews), and a few others that are probably too costly to be worth naming..
  24. Hello again :) Just popped in to comment on that new bank pic of yours. This question has been floating around my mind for some time now, and since the situation has come up yet again, I figured I might as well ask it.. How can you stand to keep your all your gp in a seemingly random spot in your bank account, as opposed to the top left hand corner?
