  1. I agree. Many of the rewards you mentioned were a little over-done, in my opinion. However, it would be cool to have 22 gauntlet options :D
  2. Yet the first post implies clothing/equippable items :P
  3. Before I got my mime shirt it was: Red Phat Pirate Shirt (don't remember if this is the real name or not.. anyway, shirt with red/white stripes) Black Navy Slacks (from brewing trouble) Cooking Gauntlets Desert Boots Fire Cape White Flowers/Dragon SQ or Pharoah's Sceptre And now it's the same outfit but replacing the pirate shirt with mime shirt ;)
  4. +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Before Disaster: Price of Essence: 30 - 40 Price of Nature Runes: 300 Low End Profit: (300*2) - (40) = 560 gp High End Profit: (300*2) - (30) = 570 gp Average Profit: (300*2) - (35) = 565 gp +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ After Disaster: Price of Pure Essence: 90 - 110 Price of Nature Runes: 330 - 350 Low End Profit: (330*2) - (110) = 550 gp High End Profit: (350*2) - (90) = 610 gp Average Profit: 580 gp +-------------------------------------------------------------------------------+ Yes, the low end profit in the "After Disaster" section is lower than that of the "Before Disaster" section, but there are a few things I should tell you. 1) The Average Profit of the "After Disaster" is higher. 2) The "Low End Profit" of the "Before Disaster" was much more reasonable than that of the "After Disaster"; in bulk amounts, essence was often 40 each right before the disaster. Today, very few people (that I know of, at least) buys essence for 110 each and sells bulk nats for only 330 each. 3) Right before the pure essence update there was a crash in the essence market...the price dropped from 50 each to 30-35 each. It was only starting to recover when the update came. I hope that helps... 8-) P.S.: By "die", I mean put into disuse or damaged to a certain extent by the updates, not completely obliterated. And yes, making a skill too easy to level is killing it--it only makes the skill more like firemaking. I would rather have it hard to level and have good rewards than be easy to level and then wonder a little bit why you did it. I should know; 80 firemaking... I disagree with your claim that level 91+ rcers make more gp now than before the pure essence update. I went from level 60-84 rc before the update, and from 84-86 after the update, so I feel as if I have some experience in this field. Before the update, the prices of nats was constantly changing between 300 and 400 each. Obviously, as the skill became more popular, prices did tend to say below 350 each, but lets not forget about the time when they were 400each... In addition, any serious runecrafter, back in those days, would buy essence in F2P worlds for 25 each. We didn't bother with that 50 each business as people tried to sell it for on forums. Unless of course, they didn't want to spend 20 minutes buying essence, instead of maybe 5. But trust me, if you were a serious rcer back then (purely for profit), you would take the extra 15-30 minutes to buy essence in F2P worlds. That means, the average 91+ rcer was making 655 gp profit per essence [(340*2)-25 = 655]. Nowadays, rarely anybody sells pure essence less than 110 each, especially if you're buying pure essence in bulk, which almost all 91+ rcers do.. So now, on average, 91+ rcers are making a 590 gp profit per essence [(350*2)-110 = 590]. I'd say these prices are pretty accurate, considering that I constantly inform myself of the ever changing rune market. ...Just my two cents :3>
  5. You're pretty lucky. My boyfriend and I both went in with 300 or so, he got a rune defender in that time and I didn't even get black
  6. I've never alched anything I didn't mean to, never come close either. 8-)
  7. Me (alching in red phat in bank) Noob (nearby) Noob: Hey can I have 300k so I can buy a whip? Me: No, why don't you go make your own money? Rc nats or something.. Noob: Because I don't have any money. C'mon your hat is like 250m, just give me 300k. It's like 1/1000th of that! Me: So you want me to go out, sell my phat just for you, and then give you 1/1000th of what I sold it for? Noob: No, just give me 300k. C'mon, I got scammed. Me: Well the way I see it, whenever you get scammed, it is always some how your fault. Noob: It wasn't my fault, I just wasn't paying much attention. Me: Exactly, you were careless and a bit stupid, I must say, and therefore got scammed. Noob: I'm not stupid, I'm a straight A+ student and I work for the government. Me: And you're in highschool...? Noob: Yes Me: So the government, of all people, decided to hire someone still in high school, instead of the numerous college graduates with degrees...? Noob: Yes, my dad is the boss. Me: Oh so you and your dad work together for the government.. How sweet.. Noob: Actually I'm not a straight A+ student. I get As and Bs. Me: Oh looky here, we have an honest liar. Noob: I'm not a liar, I was just kidding. My dad really does work for the government though. Me: Oh yes, of course.. And you work for the government too as well then? Noob: No, lol. My dad does though. --- Cutting it short, it gets a little repedative  But you get the point :P
  8. Then he definately has enough for 91 rc...
  9. Thank you, I bought 2k super energies the other day and 1k avantoes  Hope that will last me until 91! Dont count on it, lol. I use a LOT of super energies...[/quote I usually use 100 super energies every 10k nats

  11. Okies but you need to wait until I catch up with you so we get 91 at same time  :o Yessir!
  12. I hope you're enjoying yourself :) Maybe I'll come runecraft with you sometime. I need like 50m gp for house upgrades o.O Hello Demonic Throne \ So I'll be making well over 150k nats or so, oh goody.
  13. Congratulations on 79! 80 will be a nice milestone :) What do you plan with doing all the gp you will earn, btw?
  14. Pure essence is still 100-110 each.
  15. thats my opinion :anxious: Same here. I mean, think of it like this.. Why do most people want 91 runecrafting? To make quick, easy money. So why would you "waste" 40-60m getting to 91 runecrafting, when you also have the option to earn 100m-200m?
  16. Yaaaaaaay for solo style! Glad to see that I'm not the only one :D I wish you the best of luck! Don't give up!!

  18. I average about 700k per hour. My record is 7.26m a day; 22k nats baby
  19. I must start off by saying, you're going about this the whole wrong way, that late statement just proves it. Yes, skills such as the ones you mentioned do take time to bank, which is why, according to your incorrect theory, you cannot make 1m gp an hour with them. You cannot base the amount of gp you make per second. For example, with level 91 runecrafting, yes you have to bank, but can you make 1m+ gp an hour? Yes. Each load takes 1-2 minutes; which means, you're making 35k per run; which is 35k gp every 1-2 minutes. No, you're not making 278 gp every SECOND.. Instead, it's more like "wasting" a minute running to the altar, then getting 35k in one second. It's things like that which you must factor in. I haven't tried it myself, but I'm pretty sure you could get 1m gp (if not close to it) per hour killing blue dragons and selling bones/hides. In addition, it's quite obvious that you can make 1m gp per hour merchanting and staking. So yes, it is very possible to make 1m gp per hour, and you don't need math to know that. All you have to know is this: - 75+ runecrafting = 54 nats per load = 18k gp per load = 18k gp per minute (roughly) = 300 gp per second - 91+ runecrafting = 108 nats per load = 35.6k gp per load = 35.6k gp per minute (roughly) = 594 gp per second And then, of course, there are merchanting, staking and killing blue dragons. Since I'm not an expert in those areas, I won't go into detail.
  20. Good luck to you all! :D Red phat ftw?
  21. I disagree. 1) The reason for the 20 room limit is because of server space. I think there should be a limit, but maybe like 30-40 rooms. 2) That would make skilling far too easy...
  22. I know I already answered your question on my thread but I see no harm in answering again and informing other viewers of this post. Since your main question has been answered, I'll tell you how I trained to 90 construction: In your inventory carry all your gp, your noted oak planks, saw, hammer. This leaves you with 24 inventory spaces, enough to make 3 oak larders. Now the Demon Butler (whom I use) can carry 26 planks. Use the noted oak planks on him and he will unnote them. He will give you 24 planks and have 2 remaining. Make TWO oak larders, then get the 2 oak planks back from the butler. Use more unnoted planks on him and while he's banking, make the third oak larder. This way you're never standing around doing nothing. The next two turns, he will have 4 and 6 oak planks remaining, so continue in the same way. The fourth time, however, he will have 8 oak planks remaining. So make THREE oak larders before getting the remaining 8 planks. Send him back to the bank and make the fourth larder. THen the process will repeat. Using this method, I was getting 120k - 160k xp per hour :) I hope it helps.
  23. "All said, I guess it's a good way for all those unskilled PKer's out there to waste a few runes, pots and specs... oh oh and time. Often time when I run by a PKer at the abyss it takes them me 6 or 7 runs before they finally connect with a hit. And by the time they've hit me I'm gone or I've dropped and am waiting for the return so I can whoop some wannabe butt." Exactly... Especially since none of them know what they're doing. Either they have a terrible mage level, so their entangle/snare fails every time, or they decide to lack even more knowledge of pking, by meleeing. In that case, they get one hit in, every time I run past them, and it's almost always a zero.
