Sarcasm isn't needed at all in this thread. Don't post at all if this is all you have to say. This is a serious thread about the decline of polite people in Runescape.

Wow, I'm embarassed. 95 Combat with only an average of ~54.9 (54.86).

Over my course of Runescape gameplay (about 2 years now), I have encountered a few people who don't know the definition of "polite". My most recent encounter would be with a player who out of the blue asked if he could buy some of my Monkfish for a ridiculously low price (something around 75 or so), and when I declined him, without flaming him, he proceeded to calling my mother names. Now, I had read about tricks for people who used this insult tactic, so using Dalcyte's strategy, I lied and said, "My mother is dead." Thinking now that anyone in the right mind would just shut up after this, he didn't something very rude and unexpected. He said, "Good. She deserves to be dead."; he then logged out. I was practically speechless after hearing this. I didn't know if he was joking or not (fairly hard to tell the difference here), but it sounded pretty genuine to me. So to make this post relevant, if you have had any encounters with extremely rude or impolite players, post your experience here. EDIT: I did report him after he said these things. EDIT: He was not fishing at Monkfish with me, he PMed me and said this.

Did you actually get to do this in class? I was about to start but the bell rang, so I didn't get to try. I'll post my results (which will dominate) once I take the test.

I won't be playing this weekend... again... I need to get started on some major claymations and animations that I've been putting off for a long time. Spud needs me! And so do Joey and Buddy (Hint: these are characters in my animations).

I know a certain level 93 who hasn't done Sheep Shearer yet *cough* Dalcyte *cough* But I haven't ever heard of anyone higher than you who hasn't done The Restless Ghost, but I'm almost absolutely sure there's someone who's a higher level than you.

I haven't played Runescape in a while. Still playing Guild Wars a lot, and it's quite fun... I don't know when I'll get back to fishing, but at the moment I'm in no rush. I'll definitely be on for Dalcyte's 99 Thieving party though. I hope to start playing Runescape again next week, or by at least the start of spring break (I think it starts March 16). Thanks for all those who supported, and I'm going to finish this goal sometime!

Ended up not playing today for various reasons... I will be taking a break from Runescape for a little while, because I just got "Guild Wars" and I want to try it out a little. I'll still be active on the forums, just not on Runescape for a little while.

Well, I'm back again today, hopefully I can really see which are the better fish...

Sharks seem to be a better profit... But just to make sure I am going to test Sharks again tomorrow and if I can manage to fish 1111 Sharks, I will definitely switch to sharks, as that's 1M already. If I can get at least 800, the decision will be tough, but anything under that I will stick with Monkfish.

Sorry, I meant "Other Information" not "Other". Fishing starts today, and the soccer games I have out of town are not cancelled... Even though there is 10 inches of snow there... I just don't feel like I can go out of town on my birthday. Anyway I'll make a separate section for the Shark fishing totals when I'm done.

Ugh... Titus Andronicus... Biology Achievement test... Out of town on my birthday... Why can't I just fish? Fishing will start tomorrow; it's my Shark test day to see whether or not they are any good because they are worth a lot more raw than Monkfish.

Well it's hard to tell... I've died plenty of times, which dalcyte can confirm, but the worst deaths were... 1) Walked into wilderness with full Rune, Dragon Longsword, Dragon medium helm with no food or teleports. I attacked a ranger and I got mauled by about 10 of his friends... Lost the Dragon medium helm and some Rune (Dragon medium helm was worth about 1.4M at the time) 2) I was training on heroes in Ardougne with Full Saradomin on and a White Beret with a full inventory of Salmon and with 16 health left I got smacked for a 9 and then smacked again and before I got to eat it went to 0, however when I actually died I had 9 health as right after I had gotten hit I ate giving me 9 health, but it was too late... I lost the most expensive pieces of Saradomin putting me at a deficit of about 2M. 3) More recently I died at barrows loosing my Karil's and some potions. This was the least damaging as I only lost about 500k here.

I'm officially going to test out Sharks on Friday to see how good they are in comparison to Monkfish. Depending on how many I can get in an hour I will decide whether or not I will stick with Monkfish.

Asking it again: how many an hour can you get? Btw: stick to monks, way faster xp and nearly as good as shark fishing money wise (if not better) It's written on the main post if you read it... It's under "Other" and just so you'll go look I'll let you find out for yourself. Just read the post before you ask questions about it. Thanks, -Ben

"The Official Guide to Runescape" was actually available at my little brother's book fair at school and one of my friend's sister bought him the guide for his birthday. Runescape really is becoming a huge thing.

Good luck, you have some very decent and managable goals set out for yourself, and it's a nice looking blog. I have a question though. Why is your goal 60 Slayer and not 65, or something that has a better reward?

Yes, it is a fairly large amount but it's pretty easy to do if I fish and talk to friends and look at the forum while doing it. It goes really fast and gets faster every level.
