  1. I think part of the ([wagon]-backwards) reasoning behind the token system was to reward people for training past a certain level instead of just having everyone get level 80 and stop. Anyone think its possible that after purchasing the weapon, it might be better to pay the 200k gp and then tokens for a recharge. If jagex wants people to train past 80 it would be an incentive for those player who didn't have the cash to burn 200k/hr extra. p.s Until we know the recharge token costs its hard to know which will be best, im sure the richer/ those who earn more will always choose to recharge at 2mil but jagex could give us a good incentive here and i hope the recharge token costs are low.
  2. I've just been reading through the rewards and sorry if this has previously been mentioned but is there the possibility that it could be easier to recharge the weapons/shields then we think? It says 2million GP or tokens and 200k to recharge. Surely if the number of tokens is reasonable (which is unlikely if left at similar levels to previous reward costs) it may become the weapon of choice for many average scapers? Also i am interested to know the drain rate of the shield, seems like it could have a few cool uses. Guess we won't know everything til it is tried and tested which looking at the highscores could be fairly soonish :)
  3. i cant fully remember but it was kinda like running to different places in the wildy and gaining exp. from it. found it
  4. saw mod lee so i asked him about this and then mechscape (after which he quickly disappeared, after saying they had no intention of realeasing a new game atm.)
  5. Isnt there the possibility that some of the higher level stakers quit/just keep their rares? taking a sizeable chunk of the rares out of the market? I guess some stakers may move on to skilling etc. and therefore sell the rares and increase the supply but with the current outcry over staking (if all the RSOF rants were to be believed) then many stakers are quitting and it could cause a rise again. Also with the GE being implemented things could be multiplied but well i'm not really sure.....atm it looks pretty bad for my 3 rares though :(
  6. i was thinking that if these riots are proper stakers and such and not just people rioting for the sake of it then there maybe an exodus of stakers from the game and a large chunk of rares gone. I guess that depends on the player but if the duel arena is a big part of your runescape play then i guess its possible that you'd want to quit. I spose it could go the other way and stakers, find new things to do like skilling etc. and therefore sell off their rares but i guess its all speculation esp. with the GE coming out. TBh i like the big man tornies although atm its difficult with the high lvls about but i guess it'll even out. Yeah but ppl who have worked on staking accounts must be pretty annoyed. So it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
  7. so maging in ahrims is better then void by the looks of it? Whats with the empty spaces, may as well bring more anti-fires so you dont have to restock you big narb. Also the anti-fire pots last exactly 6mins i think so after awhile you get used to the right time to pot up. pretty cool guide though. (but ranging thems better) Get any gd stuff btw?
  8. Do you think that more people with the increase in price of runes might see the incentive to rc more and help decrease the deficit supply of said runes, and cause people to buy from each other more? I know i can't speak for everyone but personally i prefer to rc all my runes esp. now with increases in some costs (whereas before i would simply go buy from mage guild) I do get what you're saying now though thanks for clearing it up.
  9. You hit the nail on the head. Jagex has been trying to do this for YEARS and they finally found a good way to do it. Your idea with making rares rarer would only make the rich richer. The shop update is an equalizer. Same principle goes for the battlestaves, less cash coming in from hi-alchemy. Im not quite sure what you two are getting at. First things people are going to be buying more stackables from shops and other certain supplies. This of course will take money out of the economy but is it going to increase to a level higher then before? Yes, people are going to be buying more elemental runes, arrows and feathers etc. but didnt everyone already buy these objects from stores before(how many people really fletched 10k arrows from scratch)the update just autoers did it for them and passed on the costs. With higher level rune prices increasing i see little incentive for anyone to buy runes from the stores, especially autoers who are likely to move onto other things. Surely autoers were putting large amounts of currency out of the economy by buying runes and now they've stopped there's going to be more money circulating. Surely this means the possibility of more inflation, not a controlling measure?
  10. off the top of my head i probs got 7mil+ in seeds from the maples, loads of noob seeds to which i cldnt flog to anyone -.- the herb seeds were mainly guam, tarra, harra i think but a few better ones like ranarr and kwaurm. herbs: 608-kwuarm 1568-harra 504- dwarf weed 968-irit 1736-tarr 416-ranarr 544- cads 576- lants 1064-avantoe not 100% sure on the lants, cads and dwarf weeds.
  11. don't know exactly how long i left it for but was awhile 8-)
  12. honestly, if there was no trading then it would make sense for jagex to make the items disappear when dropped, like certain quest items or others e.g rune defender. So this probably would be the end of macros that trade etc. but i am sure that people would macro for their own uses (increase in macros on higher lvl accounts), on more boring forms of collecting resources like flax/rune ess.
  13. good luck alan, hope you reach your goal soon. Stats have improved greatly since last time i saw you. Keep it up!!!!
  14. lol, good one maybe it says bank of runescape there. Anyway decent stats and the bank is good, not great but probably a 8.5/10
