  1. Going to the beach again today. From 11 to 6. :) Didn't get a sunburn, not expecting to get one either. :)
  2. They got it on Amazon. They got the normal R1 version and the Masters of Cinema version. For some reason the users selling the MoC version of the movie is asking $129,-- for it. Which is kind of weird, as you can still order it everywhere for like $20,--. So, don't buy the MoC version, there's nothing limited or OOP about it. :)
  3. It isn't called AFTER-sun for nothing, Oy. :P
  4. I just saw Sunset Blvd. again. Which is still very, very good. They really don't make them like this anymore. A movie that everybody must see once in their lifetime, and a movie that everybody should own. I can't think of any reason why you shouldn't like this movie. 10/10 And, who's going to see SUNRISE: A SONG OF TWO HUMANS? :)

I like a lot of things. There's nothing special. I'm a huge fan of Cr̮̬̉̉me Brul̮̩̉̉ and escargots are my favorite things though, together with spare-ribs.
  6. Sunrise: A song of two humans (1927 - F.W. Murnau) - Which was exceptionally good. Of course the amazing score combined with the normal sound effects and the entire Movietone system, but there are more things than that that make this movie so good. The special effects, where you litterally vissit another world, the special titling of the story, stunning preformances by O'Brien (I wonder where Nicholson got his inspiration from for playing Jack Torrence) and Gaynor, sets to drool over and of course the dream like way of story telling. One of the best movies I've ever seen A must see, not only for fans of German Expressionism. And if you say "Silent movies are boring", go see this one, get back to me and you will appologise. Because through this movie you will learn that silent movies aren't boring; they're far from it.
  7. Score is the most notable, not most imporant. But that's what I think.
  8. Everything is of the same value, from editing, to music, camera angles, acting etc.. Everything, it's the entire thing that gets the job done, if one of the elements lacks quality or isn't there everything will fall down. Especially with genre movies. Of course there are exceptions where things are left out (Such as music, which if chosen well can be even more frightening than with music) and everything is very well considered.
  9. Oh, I'm here. I don't see it though. :P
  10. You have got to be kidding me. You have got to be kidding me.
  11. Oi, if you got a car, vissit me. :)
  12. Ah well, when I'll be moving out I can't buy as much DVD's/CD's anymore, gotta live with that, I'm sure I'll manage. :) But for now, I can still buy; just got: X-men 1.5 2-Disc X-Treme Edition X-Men 2 2-Disc S.E. Heat 2-Disc S.E. Guys and Dolls Limited Edition
  13. I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream. And that yelled by three guys for a couple of minutes. Gotta love that scene. Down by Law FYI. Lemon ice-cream is my favorite, but I like most, except for coffee/mokka and so. I also read about some guy in America, who sold chilie ice, it was so hot that you had to sign some contract for not suing him if you had any damage by it. Italian ice-cream for the win, though I must say I'm a fan of Ben & Jerries Ice Cream as well. Cookie dough. <3
  14. Middelburg, the capital of Zeeland, which is a provence of Holland. About three hours from Hannibal, Necro and all the other Dutch forum users. :')
  15. I think I love Li0nheart as well, he's kinda cute.
  16. I saw Pirates of the Caribbean: The Deaman's Chest yesterday in our cinema. It was all right, took a bit long and a lot of the same. The acting over the entire line was a lot less than in the first movie, from funny one-liners to dramatic scene everything a few levels back. It was also a lot darker, which I didn't really found fitting combined with all the humor, or the other way around, you decide. Of course this was done to keep it appealing to more audiences. Something else that could've done a lot better is that you never really got to know why things were done, why they were there, just a bunch of people put in a random situation. Other than that quite impressive graphics of course, and despite the less good acting, it's still a pleasure to see Depp playing Sparrow. On all parts less than the first one, but still great for an evening out. Too bad it was like 40C in our cinema. No Airco sucks. :( The pirate movie is back though, that's what it's about.
  17. I don't plan on moving out that fast. :) And about the out-dating part, yea, well what else could I have said. Besides, it's not like I can't watch my movies anymore then.
