It can be very nasty for the user who makes the signatures. All of a sudden people start using " fan!" in their signatures, the users (sigmakers) can get a lot of personal mesages about making signatures, doesn't matter free or for money, and some signature makers absolutely don't want that. They can also get various pm's about forum users asking them what all the fuss is about because they've missed this thread or whatever, it's a bit like the nasty e-mails your mailbox usually deletes because you don't want them. :wink: Not everybody is looking for fame. You did not remove Azvareths fan thingy, as he kindly requested. :wink: I suggest you do that.

I think it is rather rude to make these things without permission. It doesn't matter if they're good or bad; you should ask permission first if you want to use somebody else's name. And I can't say I like the idea a lot. :?

I've been on a fieldtrip for school three years ago, and they had this in an organisation, for testing. It didn't really work, it was too sensitive, thumbs had to be completely dry, no cuts etc.. I don't know how it developed though. Edit: They had iris scanners in the centrum too, but they weren't very good either. It took the people who worked there 4 efforts to get it in. :?

I don't think I have anything to prove, it wouldn't influence Nad, or his work in anyway, it's completely irrelevant how good my terragens would be. And I'll admit, I don't even have the program, let alone know how to use it. Well, well, well, don't be so harsh. I think I gave CC in maybe three (?) of his threads, that's hardly all of his threads, don't you think? And I'm not doing it because I "dislike" Nadril, I never said I dislike him, I even got two or three signatures done by him, and I used one as an example in another thread. You should keep your thoughts for yourself, instead of making me look like the bogeyman..I didn't give him 'crap', I gave him my thoughts and that's it. But I'm not surprised you didn't get anything out of my replies, you're only a Monkeyboy (not a racist comment) after all.

I never said you called it a masterpiece. The 'masterpiece' was meant that it wasn't a masterpiece. And you say that you take all your CC, but it doesn't seem like you are improving. That could mean two things. 1. You ignore the CC 2. You can't do anything with the CC/understand the program fully. 1. means you're just arrogant. 2. means you don't book any improvement and that it's time to move on to something new. If it's not one, then it's going to be two, and that will be my advice too.

Damn, I hate to be honest, but I don't like it again. The mountains all the way in the back at the left side just look like spectrum analyser. And overal the picture hardly has any dimension. People can give you all the CC they like, but it seems like you never do anything with it. You just ignore 'em and you just prop out another 'masterpiece'.

I'm a smoker and I try every now and then to quit doing it, never works. Best thing is just to quit inmediatly, not say "I'll quit after this weekend" or "After this pack of sigarettes I quit". Just do it.

I'm not sure, but it would be logical if they asked permission to publish this, meaning they don't have problems with those phonecalls being open for all. I'm not for sure though.

Hm, seems like a lot of people didn't really understand what to do. The Doors - The Doors (album) Debut album of the band "The Doors" which we all know from songs such as "Light my Fire", "Riders on the Storm" and of course the in "Apocalypse Now" used soundtrack "The End". In my opinion a very amazing album, great variety in their music, from calm rock blues to hypnotizing acid rock. Keyboard playing by Ray Manzarek is truly amazing, the whole band (instrumental) plays around his music and then we have Jim singing his poetic lyrics and with those two combined you just start living in different worlds. And then of course the famous song "The End" (Which is also the last song on the album), the controversial 'song', dialogue spoken/sung by Jim, guided by calm music makes this song a real hypnotizing, heavy trip, very easy to visualize. For some people it might be too much, it's 'sick' in some ways, and for it's time it was mind breaking. I think all in all this is one of my favourite albums that I've got and I can recommend everybody to give it a try, for all I care you just download it. And if you want to know more about the band, Jim Morrison and his life and dead, you might want to watch the movie "The Doors" directed by Oliver Stone, starring Val Kilmer giving an awesome acting performance as Jim.

Oh yea, Matt! That's the replies we are looking for, however it can't be like that with every album, since the story line in the Ayreon albums (the ones I own) are very direct. But it's a perfect reply, Matt. :P

Well, since every forum just needs a "Now Playing" thread, and it's been a while ago since the last one, for what I could find that is, I decided to open a new one. Post here what song you are playing at this very moment, and while you're at it: it would be nice if you'd drop a line or two about the song/album/preforming artist. And to be ahead of people who start yelling "spam" etc. No, a now playing thread isn't spam. You can see what a whole community is listening to and with the information given to the post you might even get more curious and get new music you migt have never heard of before this thread. TS starts. :) Now Playing: Frank Zappa - Apostrophe (album) Third Zappa album I bought, and thus far (only got four, more comming with my birthday) the best I own. Very unique album (like most of his works), half concept half classics. Awesome instrumentals, sharp and hillarious lyrics, too bad it's a very short album, I think it lasts a bit longer than 30 minutes.

Well, you sent me the song (You're Beautiful) yesterday, I don't know. He can sing, though I think his voice might get irritating after and hour...The lyrics arn't really my thing either (but that might just be this song), but it sounds okay, something to listen to when you're behind the computer, you can just listen to it, nothing more and nothing less.

You should burn in hell, for eternity. I don't know anything about graphics, thus I won't give any CC, I'll leave that up for the people who do know something about it. But this is a disgrace, how do you dare using a movie like that as a theme for such a horrible signature. I ask you people, where is this world going to?
