  1. The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari or as the original title Das Kabinett des Doktor Caligari. :) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0010323/
  2. What I meant is, that GTA3 is pretty boring when you're with multiple people, I mean, sure it's fun when you mug that old lady one time with your mates, but if you do it 30 times per hour it does get a little boring. With Mario Kart you a much higher fun element. You invite some mates, grab a crate of beer, order pizza and you start gaming. Every game is different and you'll have a great laugh when you blast another shield on your mates or w/e, and same with Smash Brothers or Mario Party, it entertained me an my mates on some pretty long nights. :) Same with Goldenye or Mario Tennis and a lot of others. :)
  3. I don't think Rick will get a bad reputation from this thread, and to be honest: I don't think he'd care if he would get one. You saying that Nintendo makes games for kiddies says more about you than it says something about Nintendo. A good game doesn't need a lot of gore and guns to be fun. For example, me and my friends have had more nights loaded with fun with Mario Kart than we had with Resident Evil. Maybe you'll understand it in a year or five when you left your puberty, because now you just sound like a thirteen year old who wants to sound tough because he likes violance, beer and cigarettes.
  4. Battleship Potemkin is the last one, if I am correct. I know the other two, if you let me think for a moment I'll try and remember them, especially the first one is on the top of my tongue, Hukaideez. Meh, can't get on the other two. And I'd like to say that I'm not somekind of moving movie ecyclopedia, lol. I don't know everything (far from it), I don't remember everything, but I try to know more stuff than what comes standard movies, and I think the movies I gave weren't very hard. I'm just kind of frustrated that some people don't watch anything European or w/e or older than the 90's.
  5. Pffff. Nevermind, it's been six hours now and nobody guessed anything. How easy do I have to make it? 1. Notorious, a famous movie by Alfred Hitchcock 2. Festen, a VERY well known movie. The first Dogme 1 movie by Thomas Vinterberg, and the whole Dogme 1 project meant an awefull lot to World Cinema, I can't believe nobody heard from it. 3. THE NEGOTIATOR, damn, this is a movie with Kevin Spacy AND SAMUAL L. JACKSON! Yes, Samual Jackson, the guy every 13 year old has a poster of on his room and saw every movie of. Sorry, but this is just sad and very dissapointing. I guess we'll have 'fun' posting Pulp Fiction and Shawshank Redemption screencaps.
  6. I don't know what the difference between England and Northern Ireland is on the world ranking list, I couldn't find the list by the way, would you be so kind to link me? :)
  7. Welll. Nobody is replying, so I'll post a movie. It's classic from the 40's. Have fun. [edit] if this one is too hard, you can also guess on two other movies. Movie 1 Movie 2 (this one is really easy) Hve fun! :)

  9. What exactly is so special about it? I mean, it just gets flatter and smaller, but the same quality? Right? Isn't that with every piece of technology in the world? What is all the fuss about. :?
  10. Pff, who needs all those James Bond gimmicks. I say back to basic (actually 5 years ago)! Perfect design, the tape walkman even got a clip so you can hold it on your belt, perfect, just perfect.
  11. Not really what you are looking for, but here are two games that are absolutely amazing. One of them is on-line only and one is off-line only. Off-line game: DX-Ball On-line: Continuum Have fun! :)
  12. Who needs an MP3 player. Sometimes I even use this baby. You guys even remember those tape walkmans?
  13. Now it's even easier.
  14. Nah, I think he's comparable to Kubrick when it comes down to that. Really, a lot of people know Roman Polanski, he's not all that unknown. :) And Matt, because I'm such a nice guy, I uploaded the cap again on my boomspeed account.
  15. Says Matt with screencaps of Troma's War and M. :P Polanski is very well known by movies such as Frantic, Rosemary's Baby, the Pianist, Repulsion, Chinatown, Tess and so on. Not to mention his publicity he got with the scandal he had in Nicholson's house and his wife being murdered (the give a refference to that in Fear and Loathin in Las Vegas btw). And the new screencap really is a piece of cake.
  16. Looks very good, the dress and body are simply amazing, but the face looks a bit manly and not elegant enough for a perfect match with body, dress and pose, I think.
  17. It was on all night, that means it was on all day for most of the forum users. :P Guess the new one then, Rick. :)
  18. Apparantely nobody is going to guess this. :| The movie was Roman Polanski's first feature length movie; A Knife in the Water. Anyway, if nobody will know this one I'll commit suicide.
  19. Troma's War I'll do an easier one now. :P
  20. Yea, I wasn't accusing him for posting fake things or something, lol. It just sounded familliar.
  21. Well, it wasn't that hard. :P There aren't that much German classics from the early 30's that also have a shaddow of a man with a hat next to a search sign. :P The shaddow of the hat actually gave it away for me, it's been so long ago. I guess my picture will cause more problems. :P
  22. Since I am 100 % sure I am correct I'll post a picture without Matt confirming my answer is correct. Have fun.
  23. M, The movie by Fritz Lang if I am correct.
