There really isn't a message, just what I felt like while making it, it's rather impulsive, really, I think it's nice to catch a certain mood. :P I like using only one real colour and black, white and grey as the other things, keeps it nice and tight. Don't really feel like adding tiny pixel objects, since it isn't made for a story or something, and of course I am graphically incapable to do things like that.

Heh, I was a little bit bored, so I figured I could make a new signature. I don't understand all those flashy photoshop programmes and so, so I just make my signatures in good ol' paint, they're not pixel signatures though. As you can see it's an abstract, kind of simple, thought I'd make a few squares and combine them with some colours add some small details. Didn't took me very long to make, was busy about 40 minutes, to figure out what I thought that was a good combination, still not completely happy, so suggestions are welcome. :) Rate, suggest, flame or what ever you want. Just give me an honest judgement. :)

Oi! I thought I was the only one who liked Robbie Williams on these forums! :D

I doubt you'll find it here. Confront your father or something like that.

The Pink Floyd, of course.

Huh? Rob? You're leaving? Darn, that sucks. Well, I'm not going to do all the clicḫ̩̉̉ stuff and so, too bad you left, and I'll 'ketchup' every once in a while. :) See you around Rob, and best of luck with your music and so! :)

I think I'm going to do a bit of opinion expressing at you. I.D.I.O.T.

That's it till now. Albums left to rip: 64. I'll give you an update when that's done.

Eeew, you don't wanna know. ^.^ Anyway, that's pretty damn cool! It's a very well known website, being in a function like that is really cool. Must be hard work though. :o
-
Of course not the highest, but that guy from Dragonforce is pretty high. :o
-
That is not really what I meant at all. :? Good you take it back, because that was the reason I flipped. I may have overreacted for a bit, but I was really mad. :P Oh, and what the hell? I got mentioned, lol. :P

So basically all you are saying is that you're a good artist when you're a mass producer? Because if you don't make at least 10 signatures a month you are lazy? Well, then you could also say TJ sucks at making pixel sigs because he doesn't regulary makes them anymore. And hell, if it applies to sig making? Why shouldn't you apply it to music and movies? Well, then Stanley Kubrick must suck, after all he made only 13 feauture length movies in his 49 years of movie making. And while we're at it, Coldplay is a bad band too, you want to know why? They only released 3 albums the past five year. I think you need to shut the hell up and go back making your B-quality pixel signatures, you commercial piece of crap. [/rant]
-
You're not a good sigmaker when you don't have enough time to make them? Now please explain me how that makes sense, because it sure as hell doesn't make any sense to me. And you can PM a certain sigmaker too, they might not post here, but that doesn't mean they aren't here. :?

I'm stuck at level 2, lol. :D Now I am at the third one, which is just completely black with some red letters. :P

Godslayer Demented Hero Azvareth Wyrm Necromagus The Jeppoz Quer_Skull Godslayer Princes? She makes pretty cool pixel signatures. She's the gerbil girl, right? :P 1337 (that's his name, right?) Those are the best, I think, if you want some 2nd rank stuff, just browse the forum and decide what you like. [edit] Sir Alex is good, it might not be best looking, but it definiatly deserves mentioning for originality! Very nice and fresh work IMO.

Yeah i seen that one to. I prefer coke than pepsi, going a bit off topic but hey - you know if you order a coke in a pub or for you american's 'bar' it's pepsi.... Yea, but then again, who drinks a coke in pubs! :P I prefer coke over pepsi too btw. :P
-
I think the last pepsi commercial I saw was the one with David Beckham, there's one with Beyonc̮̩̉̉ too, right, it was around the release of Troy? Or am I confusing things now? :?

Nothing can come between us When it gets dark I tow your heart away Standing by a parking meter When I caught a glimpse of Rita Filling in a ticket in her little white book In a cap she looked much older And the bag across her shoulder Made her look a little like a military man ... :P I wish you all good luck, hope it doesn't get too bad this time. :?

It really depends on what kind of mood I am in of course. I really like almost everything, it goes from underground horror movies to Gone with the Wind, from Andrej Tarkovsky to Kevin Smith, From Stanley Kubrick to Ron Howard, I really am open for everything. And even if I am in a certain mood, it still changes, like a mood in a mood, you know? But of course there are certain things that come back in everything. Camerawork (light, shadow, colours included), is one of the most important things in a movie, in my opinion. It changes everything, a lot of people maybe don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t notice it, but this makes your movie. This makes it look what it looks like, when done the good way it adds so much more atmosphere, emotion, it can make an actor/actress at its best, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s the difference between taking him/her serious or not, some good examples of this are later Visconti movies, The Godfather, Raging Bull, Reservoir Dogs, Una Giornata Particolare (!), Schindler̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s List, Sin City, Once Upon a time in the West, and many others. Soundtrack is of course very important, it adds so much to a scene (movie), a soundtrack can make it flop or make it a success, it makes you remember the movie; when you hear that soundtrack part you think of the movie, that kiss or death or that hilarious moment that made you and your friends crawl over the floor laughing, and you just relive that part (maybe not crawling over the floor laughing when you hear it at work or something, but you get what I mean), it adds so much emotional value, not only while the movie is playing, but also after the movie. That̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s why a soundtrack is so important to me. Space. There needs to be space in a movie, not space like a long way up in the sky, but space as in space to think, to experience. I like movies that you can watch in an active way, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t like movies that are chewed on by staff and crew and then spit back in your face (there are exceptions on the rule of course), where you can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t experience the movie, where you̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re just a passive watcher. Some examples: Dogville, Reservoir Dogs (again), Charlie Kaufman movies (Adaptation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Being John Malkovich), Otto e Mezzo, Donnie Darko and many others. And of course then there are the other things, character development, can you associate yourself with the character, originality of the plot, etc. But I think the three things I mentioned earlier are the things that matter the most to me. Of course everything together is best, but that can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t always be the case.

As the topic title already states. What do you look for in a movie? What are the most important aspects, in your opinion. Does it need to make you cry? An awesome score? The special effects? Acting? Directing? Camerawork? Tension, drama, comedy? You name it! Choose a few things a movie MUST have to make it work for you, and tell us WHY it must have those things in it. :) I'll post mine later since I have to go for spinning in six minutes. :)

Yarr!! I'm going to play me hornpipe with some pints of grog, yer bunch o' bilge rats in a bung hole! Arrr! Fear The Cap'n*, he'll eat yer guts with eggs for breakfast! *Some men and women are born great, some achieve greatness and some slit the throats of any scallawag who stands between them and the mantle of power. You never met a man - or woman - you couldn't eviscerate. Not that mindless violence is the only avenue open to you - but why take an avenue when you have complete freeway access? You are the definitive Man of Action. You are James Bond in a blousy shirt and drawstring-fly pants. You are Charlie's Angels without so much "Charlie" and decidedly light on the "Angel." Your swash was buckled long ago and you have never been so sure of anything in your life as in your ability to bend everyone - Man, Woman or Individual of Transgender or indecipherable Sexual Identification - to your will. You will call anyone out and cut off their head if they show any sign of taking you on or backing down. You cannot be saddled with tedious underlings, but if one of your lieutenants shows an overly developed sense of ambition he may find more suitable accommodations in Davy Jones' locker. That is, of course, IF you notice him. You tend to be self absorbed - a weakness that may keep you from seeing enemies where they are and imagining them where they are not.

Somehow I expected you to post this one. :P
