What the hell, how do you know this?! :o :P Nah, you can think about it what you want, and I wont try to 'convert' you or something, I respect your opinion, I just found it a bit exaggerated. No, not all movies are about acting, a part of a movie is about acting, other parts are dialogues, plot, special effects etc. You have different types of movies, where different things are more important. To give an example, in movies like Before Sunrise, Before Sunset, Les Invasions Barbares, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s more about acting, dialogue, and as you say the human elements. But in movies like Star Wars, Indiana Jones, that type of movies it's less important, action and special effects are of more importance there. Of course acting is important there too, but it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s more the action and the special effects that speak, instead of the actors. Very good part of your reply, I fully agree there. Overal a very good post by the way. :)

I store them in the Ikea Benno model, and I keep my limited editions ( like the matrix ones) in a glass cabinet.

:) I found some time to write a review and an evening report, it may contain some spoilers, not very threatning though. I was priviliged with a Stars Wars ÃÆïâââ¬Ã¡Ãâòline-up theaterÃÆïâââ¬Ã¡Ãâò nearby, so I could see the movie one day before the actual premiere. Me and my mother left at 22:00, I reserved two tickets which I had to pick up 30 minutes before the start of the movie. We had the tickets and there was an enourmes line of people in front of the doors, I almost bursted out in tears when I saw all those people, I was very afraid to have crappy places at the side or (sound quality is very bad at the side of the theater) in front of the theater, but we decided to take it easy and have a drink at the cine-cafÃÆÃâÃâé, so I orderd a cold one and a Cola-Light (remember boys and girls, don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t drink and drive, that̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s really lame). Well after we finshed our drinks we moved to the hall, and I was happy to see our patience paid of ; we had a perfect spot in the middle of the middle in the theater. I settled myself with two Grolsch ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹ÃâBeugels̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ (the most amazing invention, after the computer), you know, those bottles that ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¹Ãâ plop̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ when you open them, and a fresh popped and still warm, extra large bowl of pop-corn. I giggled a bit when a few Jedi̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s (read, people with a jedi robe and a plastic lightsabre), a handful of wookies, and a single PadmÃÆÃâÃâé (I couldn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t resist making some pervert jokes about lightsabres when I saw this beautiful wannabe-PadmÃÆÃâÃâé, my mother gave me a pat on the head when I told them my oh so original jokes) enterd the room. Too bad she could̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t appreciate my sence of humor. Anyway, after 30 minutes of waiting (there were some complications) the lights went of, Bubba Sparks̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ tunes got killed, and the THX tune started playing (I was happy they did the version with the planet, instead of the lame one with the cows), and the theater started ÃÆïâââ¬Ã¡ÃâòwowingÃÆïâââ¬Ã¡Ãâò. After that, complete silence, the following words appear on the screen: ÃÆïâââ¬Ã¡ÃâòA long time ago, in a galaxy far, far awayÃÆïâââ¬Ã¡Ãâò. I get a bit nervous and I feel that my hart is pounding faster; The Star Wars tune starts playing, I get an adrenaline rush, and I start shivering, I take a sip of beer, grab some pop-corn to calm down a bit, so I can read the text. We start the movie with a flashing, action filled space battle stuffed with laser-beams, space crafts, robots, Obi-Wan and Anakin, they infiltrate an enemy space ship to free Palantine out of Count Dooku̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s power-hungry hands, with an amazing battle with Count Dooku and a spectacular crash as the result. After that we̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re treated on some politics, some romance, a bit of manipulating here and there and a poopie-load of raw action. Sometimes the camera work was a bit chaotic in the action sequences, Ewan McGregor had a less good preformance as we̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢re used of him, but hayden Christensen made up a lot, with class-acting and for the woman; a very trained of torso. It also had a lot of character development, and suceded to explain what was pretty vague before, we get a real good view of whats going on in Anakin̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s head, why he makes his choices etc.. The movie was luckely stuffed with nostalgia (something Ep. I and II lacked IMHO), we had some of the witty jokes, Jar Jar kept his mouth shut the two times he appeared on the screen, and of course, the best thing, the creation of Darth Vader, and his first raw breathing, something that horrified a lot of people when the classic movies came out in cinema. Overal we had pretty decent acting, supurb action, class special effects, a bit of everything a good Star Wars movie needs and a perfect ending for the Star Wars Saga. This was my first very enjoyable night at the hollywood-cinema since Pirates of the Caribbean, the atmosphere was great, a very diverse audience and everything went in harmony. An absolute must-see, even if you didn̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t like Ep. I and II, you must see it in cinema, and I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ll guarentee you, it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s no money wasted! Eight out of ten points for me.

Heh, saw it yesterday, and I can say one thing! Do NOT believe Misplacedme. The movie was absolutely amazing, where parts I. and II. partly failed (with some other things than the lame excused Scruffy used, (since when is Star Wars about acting. But I'll get on that more specific tonight because I have to catch the train now) It's got almost constant action, acting isn't very good, not very bad either(for those who care, scruffy  ), and there arn't that much romantic scenes either. This one leaves Episodes I. and II. far behind and gets in line with the original three movies. I'll get a more decent review up tonight, I'm in a rush because I have to catch my train! 8/10

Why are they so "_REALY_" bad? Everybody seems to be saying they're all so amazingly bad, but I havn't heard anybody saying WHY they are so amazingly bad. " "

You can get very sick from pulling wisdom teeth too. I've got a handfull of friends that got their wisdowm teeth pulled, and they were very sick for over a week, one was very, very sick and had to stay home for 14 days.

I have two tickets for tonight, will start at 23:00, so I go after my game of Squash. The first show is at 20:00, but all tickets were sold out when I tried to make a reservation, so I just take the 2nd show. :) None of my friends are interested in Star Wars, except for one, but he has to work the next day at 06:00, and when we go we will be back home around 02:00, so I'm going with my mother. :D Oh, btw, for those English Star Wars fans.... CLICK HERE!. I wanted to order one, but they didn't ship gadgets over 100 pound outside the UK. Only thousand are made, so it's very limited.

Seconded. Oreos are the best. Period.

Right, You gave us a link to this: picture... But when I press the "previous" button in that gallary I see: I'm a little confused now, what is it going to be like? I mean, that 2nd picture looks way better, and it looks like there are going to be more colours than a black one. The silver stand comes along with the Nintendo Revolution, or not?
-
I'll try my father tommorow, when he gets back from work, he's into opera and stuff, he got loads of stuff.
-
May I ask what exactly is wrong with that Nintendo picture, I really like it, more "design" than the Playstation, and more abstract, I like it.

Wingman, I have one upstairs, let's see if I can find it. :P That's my input for this topic, now let me grab some pop-corn and a beer, so i can enjoy the upcoming show.

I see, I think I misunderstood you then, sorry. I'm waiting for the hugs and the marshmellows though!
-
What did you see then? And what did you think of that?
-
I don't know, I think shocked might be the better word. Have you seen it? And what version did you see? And what did you think of it? I orderd the BFI version, uncensored, and original screenformat, the same as the Criterion edition (but this one is very rare and very expensive since Criterion didn't got the rights for the movie and had to stop copying). Some other versions have the sides of the cells cut off, from what I've heard/read atleast.

I might be whining or w/e you want to call it, and please don't get me wrong(!), I like the signatures (I couldn't do any better, simpley because I don't understand those complicated programs). But they don't have much to do with the Pink Floyd album as you, already, said btw. But if you make a theme signature, the purpose is (for example) to ehm, catch the right emotion in the signature, the emotion you get with the album, and some kind of recognizable effect to it, so others can see from what it's 'directed'/'adapted'. I'll try to be more simple, if the album title and artist wouldn't have been on the signature, I woudln't know it was an album theme signature. The album represents far more then a moon, a tree and sky. So for me you just used the title of the album, instead of the actuel album. I really like the signatures, and I think you succeded in making good looking signatures, though I think you failed with the Pink Floyd touch.

I've done alot of silly things. I've done so much, I can't remember half, but two resent ones are: 1. After we went out on a saturdaynight, my friends challenged me. I had to go home on my bicycle, only wearing my underwear, socks and shoes. Well of course I did it. I'm too easy. 2. After losing some alcohol dice game on vacation. I had to go on the street (in front of 3 hotels and the people sitting on the balconys, in the hotels) I had to give a serenade, I had to do a Dutch song; Frans Baur - Heb je even voor mij (well, the Dutchies of T.I.F. will now how much of an embaresment that is!).

Two animated movies: The Lion King Bambi A handful of normal movies: Les Invasions Barbares (The Barbarian Invasions) The Green Mile Philadelphia Big Fish In America Diarios de Motocicleta (The Motorcycle Diaries) Films that I'm going to see soon and that I have a small expectation of crying: Mar Adentro (The Sea Inside) SalÃÆÃâÃâò o le 120 giornate di Sodoma (Salo, or The 120 Days of Sodom) That's about what I can think of now, there are probably a few more. Now I've read trough the topic, and read Zealot's reply, I cried too with Hardball, when G-baby died. :(

haha, I don't play the game, I watch it sometimes when my friend is playing though. It was pretty funny, the whole attack strategy etc. the Leeroy Dragons yell, Leeroy running in. I can't believe how much chaos there was, and how worked out these guys got over a game. Of course it's staged, according to Herr. But I think there are guys that really could be doing like this, lol.

Heh, I totally forgot it was Friday the 13th. :D Nothing happend either.

Heh, uhm Beach Boys - Surfin U.S.A. Pink FLoyd - St. Tropez Pink feat. What's the problem? You're 2nd best and you got a less good grade, pretty weird if your parents are going to ban you from the computer if you have ONE less good grade, you still pasted though.

Yo eggboy, welcome back! Good to hear you're doing fine:) There hasn't been many gossip, for what I know of. :P
