pff, people whine so much about smoking. If I want to smoke when I'm at somebody's house I ask if I may smoke first, if not then I smoke outside. But things as doing a cough when somebody smokes while your with him/her is such nonsence, except if your an asmathic or something. It's not that I want to 'protect' the smokers from the non-smokers. And I know smoking is bad, but let's not overreact; if somebody wants to smoke, why bother, and if you don't like the secondary smoke you get if somebody smokes in your house tell him to smoke outside.

They change the shape and comfort to the pace you are walking. But then it's more a sporting shoe then it is a regular everyday walking shoe, like the shoes you wear for school. Or am I wrong?

I got a question a bout chil labour. Is it like the big companys vissit the poor and small villages and pick children out of the croud to work for them, just like slaverny? Or the children apply for a job? Or are they forced by their parents?
-
Just a question, what does the 'smart' shoe exactly do?

Music genres Yay! Another music thread. :D I really like music, and I can listen to basically everything, with some exceptions of course. But I can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t really say what̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s what kind of genre in music. Anyway, there are a lot of different music genres and also a lot of subgenres in a genre, and I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t really know how to do a good search about it on the net, so I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m asking you, tip-it̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢eers, to join and do the work. And I also see a lot of people saying different things about songs from certain bands/solo artists about genres, so I guess there are other people with the same problem as the problem that I have. What I̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m hoping to achieve is: - A list of the basic music genres, and how you can recognize them, what are their specifications, and a short part about their history. - A list of the various sub genres (not all, which would a rather large job, I think) and how you can recognize them and what their specifications are, and a short part about their history. - Some classic and modern bands of each genre that have been important to the genre, and some classic hits. - An interesting discussion about the genre̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s specifications etc. that hopefully will be open for everybody, not only the tip.it music gurus that can be held in a normal way. - A good and informative thread about music genres. It would be nice if everybody who wants to participate in this list wrote an own part about the various genres, post those parts discuss with others and come to a description that everybody̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s happy with. It would be nice if we did a few genres each, and not just one, which would automatically be your favourite genre, of course I can̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t oblige that to you lot, I don̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢t own your time. And if everybody has any suggestion about other thins that should be in the list, feel free to give them. There can be some flaming but do it in a fun way, not too hard and not too much. That̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s it, I think.

Isn't there a thread for this 'crap' already? I think you'll survive, really.

6 foot and 6.6 inches, or 2 meter and 3 centimeters.

Of course. :P And I thought "Thirteen" wasn't that great, irritating hand-camera use was really getting on my nerves, almost became cinema-sick. :P And overal it was okay, not anything very special, but that's just my opinion.

Ah well, what to think of them. I think they're overacting it a bit, but why bother them, what's the point if you 'hate' them.

I'm hot in a pink shirt, a tight pink shirt, tanned skin, nothing makes you look more male than a tight pink shirt. Not too bright pink of course.

Come back home a wee bit drunk on a saturdaynight, to sit alone in our living room, drinking my last beer, smoking my last tobacco and listening to Pink Floyd, I lreally like that. And, uhm, some other things I can't think about now. :?

Don't really know much about what's really good, but I'll list some that I really like: Joe Satriani: I got one album a few months back and I really like it! Kirk Hamlet from Metallica does a good job too, I think. Blackmore from Deep Purple (he's from Rainbow too, right?) is good. Santana does a good job and of course Jimmi Hendrix.

Your moaning about rap is getting rather old, Tomato. Get over it, please. :? It's just very clear that you really don't give a flying flippo about the music or the artist who made the beat originaly or whatever they are doing, else you'd whine about Metallica ripping Whiskey in the Jar too, and the thousands of bands that cover songs like "Comfortably Numb", I don't even hear you about Britney Spears who coverd that 80's song (it's from the 80's right? I forgot the name, but I thought it was from the 80's) and named it "I love Rock and Roll", which is a terrible song, yet you complain about this brilliant song by Tupac namley "Changes". Go shame on yourself. Anyway, I got one question; would it be okay if rappers ripped eachothers beats?

The Crossing - Not Russel Crowe's debute, but it was early in his career (1990, third movie, I believe). This movie is so amanazingly bad I really had troubles finishing it and it worked on my nerves a lot. I played the movie at double speed. Volcano High - Well, I was a bit 'under the influence' from several things, and that made the movie even more vague, guess it's not really my thing. Blow Dry - Has a few well-known actors (Harnett from 40 days 40 nights, and Rickman wich we all know from the HP series), well I liked the girl on the cover, so that's why I picked the movie, I had absolutley not idea what this movie was about, since I never read covers when I rent movies. Well, this was a huge mis-rent. Crap in it's purest form. Yes, they have made a movie about the Brittish hairdressing/cutting championship. Yack. Police Acadamey part I till VII - THEY ALL SUCK! It's horrible that people make movies like this. Barb Wire - Pamela Andersom, in an adreline rushing action movie. You have to be crazy, you got to have a real need, if you want to see this film. The tight leather and sweating was very niceley filmed though. Probably some more, but don't really want to take more time for it. After all they're only the worst movies.

Citizen Kane, debuted of the, now, famous Orson Welles. It's number One on the 'Top 100 American Films of the 20th Century' since 1998. He had a contract to make two movies with full artistic freedom, and that was pretty rare, those days. This movie shows the life story of Newspaper owner Charles Foster Kane. When he̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s on his death-bed his last words are ̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâ¦Ã¢â¬ÅRosebud̢̢̮ââ¬Å¡Ã¬ÃâÃ
