Someone didnt complete the quest on their first try. :-w I tried deflect mage on my first 3 tries and it did deflect damage back at him, it just doesnt block the damage done to yourself. Heard from a few people vengeance and recoil rings dont work. Yep, I checked it out and vengeance and recoil did not work. I didn't try poisoning though, but I'm guessing that won't work as well. It would've been too easy with those forms of attack since he hits so high though, so Im glad they didn't work.

You wont get anywhere close to killing him with full inv/summon of sharks. This fight definitely needs brews/restores.

protection prayers dont work? I used mage the entire time and then melee at the end LOL oh well, I beat him so no problemo ;) Edit: I used almost max range bonus with ruby (e) and full inv + war tortoise full of brew/restore. Made it with 3 brews left I think. :blink: [hide][/hide]

You can go there on pvp and +1 worlds but silly PKers still try to PK you :P

You can either do the Spirit Graahk method or train through ZMI. Spirit Graahk won't give as much XP but you'll get a very nice profit whereas ZMI can sometimes make you lose money at lower levels but the XP is far higher. There are many variables to determine how much XP you get per hour, but it just depends if you want more profit or more XP :D

doing wine is a good way for cooking but if you prefer the old fashioned cooking fish, just choose fish you won't burn so you don't lose money. Also make sure to get cooking gauntlets for higher levels

I have to agree with the above post. There are a lot of tricks involved in which the owners are the ones who profit while everyone else falls victim when the items crash. The rest of RS economy is hurt as well when people can't get items they need. It's a lot of grief caused by this but not much else to do when a lot of GP is floating around, so they decide to do this.

When doing slayer or any type of combat, as long as I don't need some other type of ring, it doesn't hurt to wear ring of wealth anyways :)
