Cool, yeah didn't really start on the path yet, just indicated where it was. I'll look into the anatomy I guess alot more, because that seems to be the biggest problem atm...

Thanks for the comments so far, I think even if the head shape is abit cartoony it still looks pretty good, but that's me and I am looking for criticism, so I'll probably muck around with the head shape later on. Other the that, the other proportions look fine don't they? Legs and arms to body size or so meh, I'll see what others say, thanks again though.

Just using MS Paint to create this, it started off just to create a face properly which in my opinion I've achieved pretty well, there's still alot of work to go into this, and knowing me it will either not get done or will take forever, so don't expect me to show you when it's next big step is done. I'm still doing shading and making the clothing look abit more ragged especially on the left leg (Our right side) but yeah, got kinda bored with shading and working on the character, especially when he had no background, so just started with that. Ahh I'm talking heaps again... :wall: Yeah here's the picture so far UPDATED VERSION

The body seems to be awfully thin, maybe work around with the anatomy abit more, give it shading as well, you said the Halo was it's lightsource, but there still seems to be nothing to show that this is putting off light at all. The crows I think they are in the background definately need more definition to show what they are, because at the moment it's yeah hard to tell what they are....Sorry if they aren't crows. You can add alot more work into this, and I know you said it was a quicky, so yeah it's pretty obvious that it would need more work into it, but anyways if it's a WIP you can see the things that need to be added in, should be good once or if you get a background happening.

Do you mean using the "Zoom n Pan" Option, it zooms into specifically where you want it. It shouldn't be very hard to find, as it's on the side where you do find all of your "special effects" and the works, hope that helps. PS: I dunno if this was the right forum to use, would of thought you would use the forum where most captured vid's are taken, the pker's area.

My opinion is that maybe you should make the shading on the mage's dress (At the bottom) more to the curve, notice that curved shading doesn't exactly go right-angle, secondly with the anatomy, the inside of the arms shouldn't be as stiff, try making it more curved as well to show the movement with it to make it look more human, lastly the background behind the tree's and such could do with more effect (Just some stars and the such, but other then that not a heap) I like it but yeah as stated these few things could definately improce it alot and make it a quality picture. :)

Could of spent abit more time if you want improvement on such things as the ammy (Something people seem to complain about being too thin, too fat etc alot), work with shading and the effect your trying to accomplish in the picture. The light source I'm going to assume would be coming from the magic so yeah you get the idea, maybe work abit more with the background too (Stars and whatever else).

A pixel art would be pixelated, meaning each pixel which is a measurement on computers to be filled in, one at a time to create something presentable. Yours tends to use tools that help the user to create a picture, but without having to worry about looking at each square to make things such as shading and the such. As for the picture I like the effects on the ground, and the sky I guess umm but yeah the person simply doesn't mix with the picture well enough as in not looking 3d at all, especially without any face or hands, it makes it hard to work out what's going on. You pointed out most of the problems, so yeah I'll leave with that said coz my arms getting sore.

Yeah just putting up these two that I've made since I lost posted, not that great, the first (The Beach) is just something I seen a picture of, but as I do got bored of in the end so it's as done as it will get, and I learnt how to draw a sun which was my goal for that one. Second one is simply a 30 minute thing with some simple edits of a picture, but this is my first time at doing anything non-pixel so dunno what the defects and such as that I should improve on. Looks neat, I love website design, just keep the colours connected as you have done throughout the pages, and ofcourse the display of each page the same and it will come off perfect :-) Will look better I'm going to assume once actual text and the banner are done but for now thumbs up with it

I was looking at some screenshots of other windows xp screens, and well after seeing a red taskbar and such at deviant arts, I have been looking around for ages to find a 3rd-party program which allows me to change the color. So far I've found something called "winpersonalizer" which allows me to make the taskbar transparent, change what it says where "Start" button is, and a bunch of other nifty things, but it doesn't provide color changes for the taskbar. If anyone knows of somewhere I could download freeware for this specific task or includes it, then please send us back a message, thanks. - Exbaj

There's a few spelling mistakes as well, you said "Form" instead of "from" in the picture with the monkey shooting sunlight. "ALL MAGIC POWER FORM THE SUN, MOON AND STARS" Also you have said "Where" instead of "were" for "ALL HIS MONKEY SUBJECT WHERE UNDER SLAVERY" And there was one part where you missed out a word I think, I'll edit this in a sec to give more details. "THE KING OF CONFUSION HAS TAKEN OF THE AND There's probably other mistakes as well, but yeah these are a few of them atm.

Thanks PJB21, yeah I did just pretty much copy and paste the grass after I made a small section of it, thought it didn't look to bad and saved me a bunch of time but ahh wells lol. Yeah my tree's aren't the prettiest things, and I realised that I've made shadows on either side once I'd already made the shadow on the ground as well, but atleast my rock looks nice atm, just gotta put in some flowers and stuff I think but they tend to be harder then I though :-k Thanks for the compliment on the water, the water edge is very dodge as well, but not sure how to fix that either, I'll wait for someone maybe to give me an idea but yeah. EDIT: Oh I re-read what you said, and I think your saying it's only one tree. I was trying to make two tree's, reason being that I was at first thinking of a forest but yeah just wanted to take it easy for practising :?

Just been mucking around abit with making cartoonish runescape guys, and I thought I'd also give a go at making a background for a sig. Just for the reason I'm horrible at backgrounds atm, so this was my first proper attempt at focusing more on that instead of the creatures within them. MAGE (Didn't finish him off with legs and stuff because I think I wrecked the anatomy abit which I can easily fix up when I bother with it again, but yeah went onto making the background picture below instead) IMP DRAWING (Without wings :-$ ) BACKGROUND STUFF (WIP) EDIT: Took away a tree to make it single, looks better this way and more understandable.

Looks good imo, but you shouldn't save it as a Jpeg, coz Benders lost abit of quality that you can see. So yeah, save it as a bmp to make it look better and I'll have nothing really to criticise on. :D

Yeah I dunno, I can't say fake pictures really make me that amazed, and the real pictures aren't all that impressive really, I've seen guys hit 80+ and as for a friend of yours being rich, umm thanks for the info lol? Anyways I don't want to come off as a really bad person, so I'll just say nice fakes I guess and I'll wait for some others to see say things about fakes, coz I don't know enough about it all.

I think the person you created is okay is you made it as your own style, just put some detail on the shield like you did for his D Chain. But you have definately rushed the background, I'm hopeless with backgrounds, but maybe adding other things in the room and making certain to both evenly distribute the lines along the walls as well as shading as said before. Look at your light sources (The moon and the candle) try make the things around them lighter but also make certain to make the light not all too blocky coming from these

Yeah it's a WIP, and he made the picture on my computer and considering he doesn't have a computer yet or the internet, well yeah I just posted it for him so he could understand his mistakes. Hehe yup I'll get him to shade and AA, thanks for the tips so far, when he fixes all that up I'll see if he wants to post it or something. Thanks Dooms

Yeah the red line part is where I keep seeing the moon go over the land, I must be drunk or something if I'm the only one that can see it lol.

Yeah I made this today just for some fun, but it turned out pretty cool looking. I need to get Paintshop pro I guess, atm I've been using macromedia Fireworks MX 2004, which I mostly use for mucking around with website making. Anyway off topic there, just thought I'd post and see what some peeps think. Obviously my name is Brock, just didn't bother changing that for posting it here lol.

With the big moon, is it meant to be infront of the hills at the bottom left part of the moon? It looks great, just wasn't sure.

Yay thanks soooo much lol, I kept seeing it as an annoying dolphin as well, which is pretty bad since I was drawing it lol. But yeah thankyou for the tips on drawing that, got some better idea of what sharks look like atleast so I'll play around with what you said with it and properly place shading on it once the shapes perfecto 8-)
