  1. I wonder why jagex made it so pure was completely unminable from f2p... a level 50-60 minimum would have accomplished the same thing, and likely drawn less fire. Although as a previous member... I no longer have bank room to deposit the non-pure stuff, which is like, bleh. It's nice that they are trying at least...
  2. Very first tip.it freak train, I think: July 2002 Trip began with a birthday/drop party in falador, then everyone went over to the "new" make over mage and got ready for the trip, rsn_lead led (has the yellow party hat)... The path was kinda fuzzy, since I was busy playing photographer :)... but all the major cities at the time were stopped at (which was falador, barbarian village, lumby, varrok and finally edgeville where we all went up to the wilderness. I switched characters somewhere in the middle of taking these pictures.
  3. That is totally true, doing the large puzzle might take 15-20 min, and for us puzzle lovers, it doesn't seem that long, and after almost every one, you will end up with a random event. Not totally sure about the time taken, but after doing 9 puzzles I had 5-6 events. The cheap runes were a plus too.
  4. Hmm, what kind of animations do you think we will get? It might be interesting to see some better combat animations (Dodging, fighting stance...) but thats probably asking for too much... likely it will be some more emotes or another of those cutscene type things.
  5. It would be nice if Jagex moved some of the less popular member features into F2P... and give F2P a bit more of a taste of the kind of world members is really like: 1: Burthorpe Games Room - Really, there is rarely anyone in there. They have like 30-40 tables but the most I've ever seen used are 3... though hold off on the bar, those drinks are like f2p potions. This would offer a some competition like play without having to resort to wilderness, and members wouldn't lose their prized castle wars. (On a side note, Castle wars really should color code player names or something. And even if it went f2p, it just wouldnt be the same without ancient magics) 2: More multicombat areas that are not in wilderness and would actually be decent places to train. When I joined members, it was like my first time of ever playing in a multi-combat area (RS2-wise, since I remember when every weak meleer would complain about the mages and rangers stealing 'their kills' ) Monsters where players could team against, without the very nice rewards compared to their member counterparts, would be fun. Tzhaar city was a nice model of that, since anyone under 100 or lacking a set of guthans would just find the place a major money drain unless they grouped. 3: Wilderness Capes 4: Give f2p those tedious low level quests. Like am I the only one who hated the sheep herder quest? And the observatory... walk-fest... 5: Let f2p's fletch bronze arrows, make bronze arrow heads, cut up logs. When I had members, I just wish I could find some low level player to buy arrow shafts off of... they are easy to make for someone who really has NOTHING better to do.
  6. Looks like a programming/database nightmare But otherwise, nice idea :)
