make the best thing you can make (the one that uses up most planks per build) until you can make something that uses more materials. once you get oak Larders, stick to that until your desired level. i got from 33 to 72 by larders.

The staff have no effect on their own, its the spells that does the effects. Every hit you land, it reduces the stat by a certain amount (i am not sure if is a certain amount or %, i am thinking its ammount).

Oak planks are the best balance between speed, cheapness and access to raw materials. You can very easily get oak logs for 30-50ea, and if you hire a butler, you can let him do all the planking for you. I raised from 50 to 72 using this in about 24 hours (with private chat and other distractions)

get a higher cooking. Potato shouldnt be too hard not to burn. I suggest you level by power fishing salmons and trouts.

Use Potato on a range NOTE you can only cook stuff on a fire OR a range. if one doesnt work, try the other one.

why not combo Guthans and Dragon together? Use Dragon until you are low on health, switch to guthan for healing, switch back when full.

the more Glories you have, the more efficient your abyss rc will become because you dont have to continuously recharge it. 28 is the optimum number to have. House tablets work great too, though it is a bit expensive/pain in the rear to make.

As I have just obtained my Level 72 Construction, I would like to celebrate this moment by opening up my house for those who need the services yet cannot afford it. I am currently Running from Yanille Bank and back to the house in order to sacrifice my bones to Gilded Altar, and i have 1400 bones to sacrifice, my house will be open as long as i am doing this tonight. you wont get pk'ed when you are fighting kolodion, but you will be pk'ed if you are fighting other battle mages.
