when killing for pouches, always use A L R Fairy Ring Coordinates, because it involves no wildy and is singel combat. to one side of the ring there is a single abyssal leech with no other monster in sight. Kill that repeatedly so you dont waste as much food. ONLY kill the abyssal Leeches, all other monsters (especially Walkers) are a waste of time.

ranger boots, fine, its a +5 over snakeskin boots. Archer ring, dont bother, 2.5m for +4. I went through it with no ring. Get Verac's Helm and Skirt, they are far superior to Initiate ones (much better ranged defence against the 90's)

Dharok hits the same speed as 2 Hander, rest hits at the same speed as a D long.

If his attack is nearly to 70 then I would just skip monkey madness. Otherwise I agree wholeheartedly (excluding the fun part; that quest was a pain in the hienekin). 43 prayer is a MUST so if you have it or are near, do it quickly just in case the prayer update makes the requirment for melee protect higher! Why would that be though? Because if he doesnt do monkey madness he wont be train his strength with Dragon Scimitar. Should he then stick with D Long/Dagger?
