Set Effect great in pk'ing if AND only if you have the attack for it. It is godforsakenly slow to hit and doesnt guarentee better hits (Verac's set owns dharok's set big time)

37 rune defender ftw! Rune Defender for me ALWAYS. Obby shield is too old and getting old, not to mention that its defence, when training, is mostly useless because the monster is too weak to hit you properly, especially if you have Barrow armor on. Obby shield is good, but rune defender is better.

Steel bars would be sold around where Cannonballs and arrows are sold. However the sellers are usually a few and far in between. It is often easier to buy from World 1, unfortunately there are a lot of desperate traders there compared to world 2

A good way to check if an unstackable item is tradable is see if you can with draw it as a note. if you cant then its untradable, if you can, then its tradable.

Rune kite doesnt have the +5 strength I recommend Rune Defender as the shield, because your torags will cover most of your defence and hence it wouldnt actually hurt if you lose say 20 defence values for 20 attack value. Its pratically free as well. Keep the obby shield though if you are fighting ranged foes.

however that guy drains magic in seconds, so you want to bring a LOT of super restores for the fight, if the Flames of Zamorak works. If you are mage of 70 or lower, dont even bother with magic, you will spend 90% of the time drinking. Melee did the trick for me.

The higher prayer, the better, same applies for defence If you want to start barrows early, get that mage to 59, complete family crest and get the chaos gauntlets, and use Fire BOLT on them (blast is a complete waste of money). Actually i believe rune ess is mined by members with under 30 mining. Correct, it can only be obtained on members servers, and require 30 Mining. It is very much like maple logs now, where f2p can use it, but it can only be obtained on p2p worlds.

yes, they have double the hp of the crabs, except their combat is only 1 higher, thus they hit less well than crabs.

Barrows for me, if i do enough of it a day, maybe 1m a day without items (just from runes).

There is only 1 staff that can Auto Cast ancients, and thats Ancient Staff. No other staff can auto cast Ancient Spells. NO staff can auto cast Lunar Spells for obvious reasons that there is no offensive spells in Lunar Magicks

Construction is a Convinience skill that you must put money into, but it helps you getting money ELSEWHERE, like barrows and such. It also helps you to save money (barrow armor repair stand) or time (gilded altar for prayer leveling). There is no way to make money out of construction alone, because it was DESIGNED to be a money sink, because the inflation was going out of control. To the above poster, please dont associate a skill with a major bad incident because of a person abused a bug out of it. Construction is highly useful skill that would be foolhardy to discard.

at 79 it hits 16's. i'd say 17 or 18 at 85 ranged
