It all depends on where you live to see how long it takes. I used to pay that way until I got my credit card. The only thing they do is send you a message on the runescape main page. Nothing in the mail.

I regained members a bit ago, and just made level 82.

Just finished eating, back to get 82.

It all depends on what your smithing level is now. Getting high smithing in F2p is quite tough, but achievable.. And also on if you're going to mine the ores yourself or buy it all. Chain's idea of smithing steel plates to 68 then mith after that is a good one. The higher your smithing level the closer you will come to evening out on costs of materials if your buy them. But if you mine it all it will take longer, but also be all profit.. This is probably the best way that I can think of at the moment. Go chain, lol. Good luck flech.

I had to leave to go run a few errands but I'm back to finish getting 82. But I may have to eat lunch first. :

Get str and def to at least 70. That way you can wear torag's armor which helps a lot compared to rune. Other than raising your stats not much else I can think of to help..

Well I used to do that wth teaks and he rarely asked for payment. But then again my butler seems to be mentally challenged. You could also cut the logs yourself(like you said) then trade the logs/cash for somebody's planks. Just give them the logs and pay the difference with money for planks.. Simple and easy.

I didn't see if anyone posted this yet. But if you do slayer at the same time, you can raise your attack and slayer levels together. That's what I did to get from 65 attack, strength, and defence to 70 in each. It helps a lot but to get any decent experience you need at least 45-50 slayer. And 70 range helps a ton to be able to wear black d hide(because you will get assignments with monsters that have mage based attacks). Any d hide will do but black helps a crap ton.. Good luck mate.

Alright.. But for f2p I've found that fally or edge are best. Fally is better for multiple people at once. Edge is better if you're alone. Anyone know for p2p?

I am currently firemaking to 99, or at least trying to. I am going to regain members again either today or by the end of the week. I was wondering if anyone has a "best spot" for firemaking. Right now I go back and forth between edgeville and falador, and they both seem to work fine. But in P2p if there are better spots that would help me burn an extra 50 logs and hour, it would add up and help a ton. Any suggestions?

It is hard to log on everyday to do it. But if you go for a level each time you log on it'll come in no time at all. Then as you come closer and closer to 99 it'll make you want to get on and do some firemaking.. Just chunk it up into smaller goals, or take a break, and then come back to it.. You can do it. \
