Wow how unconvient is this? Considering many of these people were with tip.it before all the rs2 nubs came, the least that could be given to them is a fuggin market subforum instead of this unorganized pos.

It seemed like the game ended way too quick. Rs2 has already been out as long as I've played rsc and it's hard to realise that it was THREE years ago since rsc was alive and kicking. Too bad jagex had to completely ignore it instead of doing what many other game companies do, keep the old game around and give newcomers a choice of which game to play (granted most would go to rs2, I've talked to a lot of people that wish they could come to a smaller community like rsc).

ahh, miss all my 50s-60s-70s teamates throughout the years havent logged on S4ndm4n very often since rs2, only several times to take trips around good ol' rsc

There's no true freedom of speech in this world or not even at these boards. Go look at my fight in Forum updates&suggestions for example. I also accept the thing that you and many others complain, but don't forget that as much as you got the right to complain, I got the right strike back. Just because newer players don't know you or what you've done, it doesn't mean you aren't remembered. Those who have been playing when you got your levels, remember you. No1 can wipe you out of RS history. However, I also feel that we should have also rsc hiscores for people who played back in then or decided to stay in rsc when rs2 came. Athletes of old didn't train and condition NEARLY as much as they do today. A more appropriate comparison would be baseball players that use steroids breaking records of baseball greats that didn't use steroids. The baseball greats, and everybody else, feels they were cheated from their legacy.

I killed a monkey on karamja, right beside the volcano. Used those EXACT BONES with the talisman to make the monkey greegree. Equipped the greegree and tried to talk to the sergant and he said I need karamjan bones. I would love for someone to explain this to me since I believe there is only 1 karamja and I was there.

I merchanted from 500k to 125mil in about 2 months total of merchanting. Nobody ever went on my char, I check the ip everytime.

I never worried or thought about it until it happened to me. How I see it, if I got banned for doing nothing wrong and their "detection systems" flagged me, than they can flag anybody.

I never haved owned a paypal, ebay, western union, or any other means of buying/selling runescape items. Their "detection methods" are complete garbage. I'm complaining because I spent months of my life on the items I merchanted (from nothing) and to lose it like this is very unfair. If I had broke any rules, you think I would try this hard to get my account back? I would of recognized my mistakes and left the game. This time I haven't made any mistakes, except being rich at a low level. :roll:

Why should it take them so long to admit their error? They basically robbed me of months of hard work and they won't even review it, just send me automated responses because their "new detection method" is completely inefficient.

Sadly, more people that I ever thought are getting banned unfairly. One of my very good friends, Atlantian, was banned for "autoing" just because he played rs1. He was as legit as you could be and ALWAYS answered pm's no matter what time you talked to him when he was online. It's getting out of hand with all the legit players getting banned.

I've read about many people being falsely banned and thought they just had really bad luck but yesterday, I joined them. Tried to log on runescape and was shocked to see my account disabled. I knew I didn't swear, scam, spam on forums, etc so I knew something was very wrong. I checked my message centre and they said I was real world trading even though EVERYTHING on my character was earned myself. I was very sure that the appeal would get passed since there is 100% NO WAY THEY HAVE ANY PROOF but this morning I found my appeal denied. They said their detection system is 100% accurate. :roll: Months of hard work merchanting and skilling taken from me because someone reported me for being a low level with a party hat. Hopefully I will get a chance to talk to a jagex mod, but I doubt it so looks like the runescape economy is short a red party hat and a mask set... and a very honest player that doesn't break rules.

It's not recent that Galaxyg has been known of being a woman.. I've known that for like 3 years. Add ThirtyFifty8 to the list as she was one of the best stakers, men or women, back in rsc. And Gogeta5, I'm pretty sure ashley was near the top in thieving. Not completely sure tho.

Ya I'd rather have a player interviewed that actually experienced rsc. I don't actually consider them worthy of an interview just because they no lifed for less than 2 years.

I agree that greed has overtaken the game and I know I'll get flamed for this but it's because of Rs2. Back in Rs1, a very large percentage of the rs population were completed based around pking and f2p pking in particular. F2p pking, in Rs1 and Rs2, is basically a money pit but since it was so much fun, nobody had a problem with it. The pking system now is too complicated and since f2p doesnt get any of the "benefits" that should be built into the game for all players (teleblock, snare, mainly) it makes p2p pking superior by just the ability to get a fair 1v1 with somebody your level without fear of them teleporting or just running south. It was never a problem in Rs1 because being pure meant you didn't have magic so there was no teleporting and the 3 round and catching systems made it so you couldn't just quick escape southwards. Another thing is back in the old times, there was so much left to accomplish so people would spend all their time skilling instead of worrying about merchanting for money, unlike now where almost everything that's worthy of putting work into has been achieved many times so the only thing that drives most people is achieving great wealth. That's just my thoughts on greed in rs now.

I bet that kid that has 4.4mil in his invi and a santa hat on his head isn't complaining how unforgiving and depriving runescape is. :lol:

uhh.. u cant possibly say anybody new school to be voted for this since old school pb's owned with that accidental 11 def, not with 99 1 99 and lucky 3hits because they have 2 99 rangers with them. u must have not played very long if u would pick some new school newbs over old school legends.

wow.. seems like everyday i read posts and find new names of people that i havent thought about in over 2 years. low fighter i v i e t i ur dog are my 3 picks for best ever also, leet archer and dark ness weren't pb's, they both had 14 prayer or less (up until 2004 if my memory serves correctly)
