What have I gotten myself into.. I wasn't planning on doing that originally. I was going to merchant, but I just can't stand not getting any experience and standing around. So I'm skill-chanting. I bought all my flax for a combined 3mil, and I'm gonna spin it all into bowstrings, selling at 190 or 200 each. :D That'll net me 4.6 mil more methinks and 70 Crafting. Wooohoo! Wish me luck.

Yep, Banshees drop a LOT of essence. You've got the slayer level for them, just don't forget your earmuffs! Also, minotaurs drop noted pure ess in 15s on member's servers, and normal ess in smaller quantities on F2P servers. There's more, I'm just drawing a blank on those at the moment. ~Lunar

... #-o I don't mean that you should do airs. The point I'm trying to make but don't seem to be getting across is that getting a Third Age piece is extremely rare and you shouldn't count on it to make you money. Yes, you will get money from all the other items you get whilst trying to get a TA piece. Yes, clues are a great way to make money. No, I don't literally mean go run airs. But yea, what spurious said was good advice. Jellies do tend to drop level 3 clues, and they're relatively low leveled. They do have a Slayer requirement to kill however. Also, bring the best mage protection you can while fighting them. Hellhounds are your next best bet without trudging into Slayer monster, however. Also, green dragons drop them enough to count on one at least every few trips.

Running airs would be more reliable than the money from a Third Age Piece. I didn't say all the other items he'll get in lieu of a TA piece.

The bank is a bit longer away from the yews in the Stronghold, but there's no competition. It's a toss up really.

Ranks! Of course, as meol said, Tip.It staff will have different things. I had "moderator" under mine for a while, because, well.. that's what I was. There's also "Global Moderator", "Administrator", "Tip.It Events" and other things. And there's currently a rank contest going on, in which three people will win a chance to change their rank to whatever they want (within the rules). Submissions are closed though. An example would be misterxman, who got his changed to "The Noob Pixelator". ~Lunar

It's your rank. Rank represents your post count. There are corresponding ranks for a certain amount of posts. We all start out as "Chicken Feather". Then there's others; "goblin mail", "unicorn horn"... leading up to "ghost robe" and "Ice Giant Melter", among others. There's a post that tells what each is, I'll look it up for you. ~Lunar

It is VERY rare, don't count on it as a viable moneymaker. You'd be better off running airs or something. But if you really want to try, then range Hellhounds. They're good for clues usually. And there is no monster that will drop clues more prone to lead to a piece of Third Age. And yes, they're only level 3. But don't count on getting one ANY time soon. But it's always possible! ~Lunar

Well.. did you ask about the whereabouts of that piece or did you just go there with a quest guide? I don't know what is causing the problem, I just did that part myself. I payed up though. But I think you remumber me from Sir Xaeroe, not Trunksbomb.. Not sure. ~Lunar
