Hi. I know this question would have been asked a gazillion times before, but try as I might, I can't find a similar topic in the forums (many different searches attempted)... :?: I need to know the best armour you can wear in P2P please? And as an afterthought, please provide some cheaper alternatives (i.e. I won't be able to afford dragon chain mail). If it matters, I mainly train using melee. Thanks. P.S. My stats are Att 62, Str 72, Def 60, Range 45, Mage 64 (or click on the link in my sig). I'm happy to train any of these if it will help me wear better armour. If you can't get through Monkey Madness to get the dragon scimmy, you can go for a dragon long instead - besides the 60 attack, I'm not sure what quests are needed to be completed to wield this one.

Cool - thanks for clarifying that. One more question, why is Sara more expensive than Zammy, which is more expensive than Guthix? :? Is this simply to do with supply and demand, and how rare the items are in the treasure trails, or is there something else I'm missing??? The reason I ask, is that I reckon Zammy and Guthix both look much cooler that Sara!!! :shock:

:?: O.K. people. I'm told that addy (g) and addy (t) armour have the same stats as plain old addy. I'm also told that rune (g) and (t), and zammy, guthix and sara all have the same stats as plain rune armour. However, what I am not sure about is the new heraldic (h) gear. What stata does that have (i.e. is it equivalent to rune armour)? Cheers!

For the purpose of this thread, let's assume my stats are high enough to wear anything. I want to know what the best stuff is, and I will raise my stats to get to the necessary level. My actual stats are in my sig below...

Cuban, you're a scammer like the rest of them, just from way back. You should be banned for admitting to it. Forsaken Mage, that was a great article. You have captured exactly why I will never be P2P. I have enough trouble finding time to level up the skills I ALREADY have access to, let alone adding another six for me to work on. I'd rather be really good at the skills I have access to now, rather than being average at every skill. I already have my work cut-out for me now in F2P, so I'll take the updates metered out to us 'poor' F2Pers when they come.
