  1. That...really...sucks. Your "friends" are idiots, you sound like a nice guy, you deserve better than that. You should know that not all of the runescape community is like that, you should stick around. If you decide to, you can always add me, if not, well then good luck in real life.
  2. I heard that he's not blockable anymore. Might just be a rumour though...
  3. Good luck with your skill pure, it's comming along nicely :) Keep up the good work, are you going to do for 60 defence any time soon?
  4. Well, about the sharks, as I said in my guide, I barley end up using any. Dragon shield is quite expensive, and requires Legends to be done, so not many people would be able to use it. I use a guthix book because of the att and def bonus, and i've personally had better results with it. And i'm not using x-bow or c bow because I have neither of them, thanks for reminding me though, I need to get one :P I have done 3 runs using only 1 sup restore, I would think that this guide is quite original as it dosn't require you to be a very high lvl, like most do, and have expensive equipment, like most do. skatinwithguns, you would be able to do 3-4 runs, as the food wouldn't last you enough for more(thats only using 1 of the p pots). You could try to bring all sharks to last longer(instead of some monks and the rest sharks), for 5 runs(as many as you can do with 2 p pots).
  5. Awsome guide, I think I'll get my prayer up using these :) The range exp will be nice too, thanks for the info!
  6. And no annoying adverts. Do not for get the adverts. They are the reason that my family IRL are members. Vene Yes, the adverts too :P
  7. Deffiniatly, you get new equipment, new places to explore, new quests, new skills, new everything. Also, the people are much nicer, and don't beg for money and follow you around everywhere.
  8. Well, your pure is comming along well. Good luck with it, don't gain another def lvl :P
  9. Good luck, don't give up. Those are some hard goals, but i'm sure you have the patience for it.
  10. Wannabe mod! Heh, just kidding. Maybe the difference was that in the first trade, you didn't proceed to the second trade window, but in the second you did?
  11. Try to add some more information, and try to make this guide a little less cluttered. I had a hard time understanding you, because of this. Also, you don't need to unote anything using a butler, you can just take new things out of canfis bank...It takes about 2 mins to get from canfis bank to barrows, maybe even less. I should time it.
  12. I would love to have a 99 agility cape. Because getting 99 agility would take extremly long, plus, agility is very usefull.
  13. Well, I changed the format around, how does it look now?
  14. This guide requires you to know basic knowledge of barrows, and the safespots in the tunnels, also the sidestep is helpful. You can learn all of this on the Tip.It website. Click here and scroll done a bit to find out about the sidestep. Please reply if you read the guide. It only takes a little bit of your time. Table of Contents 1.0. Introduction 2.0. Basic Information -2.1 Required stats -2.2 Required Equipment 3.0. Attack Plan, with best equipment -3.1 Tunnels 4.0. Attack Plan, with the alright equipment -4.1 Tunnels 5.0. Conclusion 1.0 Introduction Hello, and welcome to my second guide on how to complete barrows without using a single dose of a prayer pot. In this guide, I will show you my secrets, and tricks, on how I am able to do barrows with 50 prayer, and 70 defense, without using a single dose of a prayer pot. You will also be able to do multiple runs(using 1 or 2 doses), without leaving the barrows grounds, provided you don't waste to much food. Alright, lets get down to the info :P 2.0 Basic information 2.1 Required stats Stats that I have: *Current stats are in sig Minimal stats that you should have: -50 prayer -65 defense -65 attack -65 strength -66 magic + slayer dart or 70 magic -68 range(you could go lower, although I don't recommend it) -70 hitpoints -50 construction(so that you can have a house with a portal to canfis + a alter) -Desert treasure done( for the house portal) -Some money(for the equipment) 2.2 Required equipment Equipment that I wear: *Updated Jan 12 2007 Wearable equipment, from best to worst: HEAD: Farseer Helmet > Mystic Hat > Wizard Hat AMULET: Fury > Glory Amulet > Power Amulet BODY: Torag Plate > Rune Plate LEGS: Verac Skirt > Torag legs > Rune legs CAPE: Fire Cape > Mage Arena Cape > Skill Cape or Obby cape > Legends Cape > Castle Wars cape *The new trimmed skill cape won't make much of a difference with the +4 prayer bonus, so I would reccomend a Fire Cape or Mage Arena Cape ARROW: Rune arrows > Addy arrows BOOTS: Rune boots > Addy boots > Climbing Boots GLOVE: Any RFD gloves, above black WEAPON: Slayer Staff > Air Staff/ Fire Staff NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL SHEILD: Unholy book > Book of Balance > Damaged Book RING: Ring of Life > Seers Ring Whip > Dragon Scimmy > Dragon Long Karils Top > Black Dragon Hide Body > Red Dragon Hide Body Super Restore > Prayer Pot(just in case, really not needed though) Death/Mind runes > Blood/Air runes NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL Monks(the reason I bring half, is so that I have high-healing food for emergencies, I only end up using around 4 sharks) > Sharks The rest is mandatory. Now you may want to know why I bring certain equipment, instead of others. I bring Verac Skirt, instead of Torag Legs, because of the valuable prayer bonus. I also don't bring Dragon Hide Chaps, as that would waste inventory space, and they barely help(at least at my range lvl). Using my set-up, you will be able to do 3 runs - if you bring all sharks - maybe even more, without leaving the Barrows grounds. Ok, now the guide will be split into 2 sections. One, is for the people who can't afford the best equipment, as you will have to fight a different way, and for the others, who can afford the equipment, as you will have a different approach than the other section. The guide on how to stay for more than one run without leaving the barrows grounds will be in the section for people who have better equipment. 3.0 Attack Plan, with best equipment. - This is the way I do barrows, I recommend this the most You have chosen the best equipment, and will be doing barrows effeciently. It does not matter who is in the tunnels for you. :) You need to fight the brothers in the following order: 1. Dharok Stand on top of his tomb, put run on, set auto-cast. Now, you can put your Karils top on,, so that you have a higher mage bonus. Then put on melee prayer and dig. Kill him, and get out fast, your prayer should be at around 24 if you had 50 prayer to start with. Now take run off, and walk over to Karil. If in tunnel, skip to Karil. 2. Karil Stand on top of him tomb, put run on, get out your whip, and put on range prayer, and dig. Attack him, then eat accordingly. You don't need to use the sidestep to eat, only if you really want to. You should have wasted around 3 monks. Now set run off, and go to Ahrims tomb. If in tunnel, skip to Ahrim. 3. Ahrim Stand on top of his tomb, put on your Karil Top (or B D Hide Body), your magic short, put it on rapid, and put spec on. Dig, and open the coffin. Eat accordingly, sidestep if you want to, although it isn't needed. When you kill him, make your your hp is either full, or close to full, pick up your arrows, and leave. If you got Karil in tunnel, put magic prayer on when you fight this guy. If in tunnel, skip to next brother. 4. Verac Now, put run on, put on your Torag Top, Slayer staff and Unholy Book. Set auto-cast on, and dig. and dig. Open the coffin, but then put yourself in a position, that allows you to sidestep him anytime you want to, like so: When you need to heal, side step. After he dies, run out, and go to Torags tomb. If in tunnel, skip to next brother. 5. Torag In Torags tomb, open the coffin, and set yourself up like you did in Veracs tomb. Sidestep when you need to heal. After you finish Torag, go over to Guthan. If in tunnel, skip to Guthan, the easy one. 6. Guthan Dig, set yourself up, and sidestep when you need to eat. Laugh at the people that use prayer on him. Most I've used on him was 4 sharks/monks. If in tunnels, booya! 3.1 Tunnels This section will be split into 3 sections. One is for the people who got one of the melee brothers. The other if for the people who got Arhim, and the third is for the people who got Karil. Melee Brothers You have got it easy. Go over to one of the corner rooms(explained very well in this guide), and open the door(s) until you get a melee brother. Now find a safespot, and take off your torag plate, verac skirt, and rune boots. Kill the melee brother, and put your equipment back on. Equip your whip/dragon scimmy, and get your kill count(I get 12). Ahrim You still got it easy. It does not matter where you spawn Ahrim. Get your kill count(I get 12), and find the chest. If you didn't spawn him before, you will at the chest. Put on your Karil Top, magic bow, put it on rapid, and put spec on, and eat accordingly. Karil Karil...karil...everybody hates getting him in tunnels, but you will just shrug and go meh. Sure, he will waste more food than Arhim, but he is still easy with your equipment. It does not matter where you spawn him. Get your kill count(I get 12), and find the chest. If you didn't spawn him before, you will at the chest. Equip whip, and fight him. Eat accordingly. Now, congratulations, you have completed barrows without using a single dose of a prayer potion! If you've managed to read this far, at least post a comment or something. Thanks. 4.0 Attack Plan, with the alright equipment. - This is the not way I do barrows, it is still doable, but you might have to waste a prayer pot dose Even though you have worse equipment, I too before only used rune, so I know how you should fight these brothers. It won't be as easy, but you will still make it without using a single dose of a prayer pot, if you don't get Karil in tunnel of course. You need to fight the brothers in the following order: 1. Dharok Stand on top of his tomb, put run on, set auto-cast. You can also put on your dragon hide body, so that you have a higher mage bonus. Now, put on melee prayer and dig. Kill him, and get out fast, your prayer should be at around 24 if you had 50 prayer to start with. Now take run off, and walk over to Karil. If in tunnel, skip to Karil. 2. Karil Stand on top of him tomb, put run on, get your Dragon Scimmy out and put on range prayer, and dig. Attack him, then eat accordingly. Use the sidestep to heal, just run around the coffin to get him stuck on the other side. You should have wasted around 5 monks. Now set run off, and go to Ahrims tomb. If in tunnel, skip to Ahrim. 3. Ahrim Stand on top of his tomb, put on your Dragon Hide Body, your magic short, put it on rapid, and put spec on. 4. Verac Now, put run on, put on your Rune body, Slayer staff and Damaged Book/Book Of Balance. Set auto-cast on, and dig. Open the coffin, but then put yourself in a position, that allows you to sidestep him anytime you want to, like so: When you need to heal, side step. After he dies, run out, and go to Torags tomb. If in tunnel, skip to next brother. 5. Torag In Torag's tomb, open the coffin, and set yourself up like you did in Veracs tomb. Sidestep when you need to heal. After you finish Torag, go over to Guthan. If in tunnel, skip to Guthan. 6. Guthan Dig, set yourself up, and sidestep when you need to eat. Be carefull on him, he sometimes hits through rune alot. If in tunnels, you got lucky. 4.1 Tunnels Now, it is time for the tunnels, one of the most exciting parts of barrows(and certainly the most rewarding). This will be split into 3 sections. One is for the people who got one of the melee brothers. The other if for the people who got Arhim, and the third is for the people who got Karil(ouch). Melee bothers You've got it easy. Go over to one of the corner rooms(explained very well in this guide), and open the door(s) until you get a melee brother. Now find a safespot, and take off your rune plate, rune legs and addy boots. Kill the melee brother, and put your equipment back on. Put on your dragon scimmy/ dragon long, and get your kill count(I get 12). Ahrim You still got it easy. It does not matter where you spawn Ahrim. Get your kill count(I get 12), and find the chest. If you didn't spawn him before, you will at the chest. Put on your Dragon hide, magic bow, put it on rapid, and put spec on. I don't think I need to remind you to eat. Karil Karil...karil...everybody hates getting him in tunnels. You will have to use 2 doses of prayer potion on him, or else he is very dangerous with rune armor. It does not matter where you spawn him. Get your kill count(I get 12), and find the chest. If you didn't spawn him before, you will at the chest. Equip your weapon, and drink 1 dose of prayer potion. Fight him, and drink another. Don't waste anymore, if your prayer runs out just eat. Now, congratulations, you have completed barrows without/only using a single dose of a prayer potion! If you've managed to read this far, at least post a comment or something. Thanks. 5.0 Conclusion I hope this guide has helped you on your quest to be a millionaire. If you have any question or comments, feel free to either PM me on Runescape, or reply here.
  15. Hey, mine name is timmyboy1234, on runescape of course :P I enjoy doing barrows, and hanging out lol I'm 14, I live in Canada but I was born in russia, moved here when i was 4. Umm...I try not to be on alot, but rs is addicting...stupid addiction :P Anyways, feel free to hyt me, and I would be glad to barrow with you too :)
  16. Updated my blog a bit, changed the format around, plus I added another entry.
  17. I edited my main post just now saying that :P I'm basically making a range/magic pure, with some str, for the hp and for good use of a dds. I'm hoping to get high range and mage, and medium high strengh. At 70+combat, i'm going to get high def, to turn this pker into a tanker, thats why i'm not wasting to much time on strength. I'm hoping to stay at 11 prayer at the most(for dt), but I will get defence, just not right now, as I will just get owned in the wildy.
  18. I bet he dropmerchanted it You know, I hate people like you. People like you always assume if a pure, or just a character that has a fair amout of money, drop traded it from another acount. People like you ruin runescape. Please, if your going to post crap like this, don't post in this thread. I explained how I got my money, what more do you want? For me to go back in time and record everything on hypercam and then show you? Thanks for the comments guys, I'm glad someone posted :P
  19. Hello, and welcome to my blog. This is my pure(well main, since I quit timmy), j00pked. I got bored of my main, because he can't really pk, and I always wanted to start fresh someday, so j00 was born. I hope to get some good pking stats, and maybe staking. I will update the stats and bank regularly. Stats Yea, they arn't the greatest, but better than some 3 day old pures... My current goals are 35/60 agility 70/85 mage 72/84 range 44/60 att 53/75 str 63/75 hp And some non-combat goals, but those arn't really important for a pker. I'm basically making a range/magic pure, with some str, for the hp and for good use of a dds. My bank Deffiantly not the greatest, but mind you, I didn't drop trade. I can tell you how I made my money, for those idiotic people that like to flame. I fought cows, and collected hides from them. Then, I sold those hides, and merchanted to around 400k, from which I managed to train to 61 range, which was enough to pk about another 400k worth of stuff. Then, I got members, and merchanted like a maniac. Oh, and my friend makes the iron knives for me if I give her the ore, so you'll see my iron knife supply rising. The blog November 7th, 2006 - Day 1 of blog Well, this is the start of my blog. Today I alched 1k yew longs to get to 70 mage. Lots of fun...I also got to final crafting levels for Lost City, i'm hoping to do it tommorow. My plan is to do a whole bunch of quests that raise your attack level, so I won't have to train it...yup, I'm lazy :P Met a nice guy today...one of the more interesting people in Runescape. Then, I also met a very annoying guy, who thought just because I was a pure, i'm supposed to have the best stuff. He kept on annoying me about how I didn't have a fury, or a rangers set(thats what I get for actually following the rules...). What a moron, even he didn't have a fury or a rangers set :P I pointed that out, and he just completly ignored my statment, and kept on being stupid. Then I put him on ignore. Best. Thing. Ever. Made. Period. Mmmkay? Well, end of todays writing, I have to do my math homework. I hope someone posts. November 8th, 2006 - Day 2 of blog I didn't do much today, I was at a friends house for a long time, and then came back and ranged a bit. Not much happend, I'm getting closer to my next range level, I'm happy about that. If anyone wants to chat with me, please post in this thread with your RS name, as my chat is set to friends because I pk alot, and don't want people following me around. I also pked today for a bit, I pked a dds, glory, some rune arrows, and a d scimmy. Not much, but good enough for me. November 9th, 2006 - Day 3 of blog Hi! Welcome to my 3rd day of my blog. Today I did Lost City, and merchanted for a bit. I didn't have much time to be on because I had homework, and I stayed after school. I forgot how easy Lost City was, the hardest part was getting the bronze axe from the zombies. Took me like 10 minutes of killing to get one. And they are supposed to be a common drop...pfft. My friend made me some more knives, i'm happy about that, more range levels:P I doubt i'll get much done tommorow, since its Friday, but I'll get loads done over the weekend.
  20. I think you ment to say a Magic Short Bow right? I said in my guide to use it against Arhim. You mage all of them except for the mager, Arhim, who you range.
  21. Uh, if you want, you can post your questions here, and I will try to answer them.
  22. Fairy tale pt.1 dosn't ask you for a spot pot...
