I recently got 99 Ranged so now I have 99 Ranged, Attack, Strength and Defence. I was thinking of now using magic on slayer tasks but I was wondering if it would be worth it or would it just be faster and cheaper to melee slayer and then raise magic another way?

I can imagine that this topic has come up VERY frequently in the last month, but I haven't really been browsing these forums. Is it best to be on low complexity and blitz through, or go on high complexity, take your time and get more exp. What have you guys settled upon, I've been doing high complexity so far and I'm level 38 but finding it quite slow.
Also, incase you didn't realise, if you have high enough RC, you can buy rune essence, craft airs, and sell back to the guy for a profit.

Ye, I looked into plane tickets for laughs.
The CHEAPEST tickets I could get was $750 which had 4 airports I needed to switch planes... NOT WORTH SOME STUPID ITEM.

If you're just after the item, buy a ticket but don't go.

What is unbelievable to me is that Jagex would do something like this and not know the response it would elicit. But then, that does seem to be a pattern of late.
Bad Jagex, for not realising that their players would act like spoilt children...
Seriously, my respect for this forum has decreased severely just from this thread.

I dont know if im going to the event however its more likely I wont be.
However I think its good to give a gift ingame to those people who do attend.
My only concern is people selling the code if its possible. There many ways to prevent this so I hope they do prevent it. Just lock it to an account or something.
Why bother preventing it being sold?

I really find the over reaction in this thread unbelieveable. It's not as if they're giving some super weapon. Its a banner which is effectively meaningless unless you went to the event.

This is what I think they should do:
Give a promotional code to everyone who buys a ticket which can be redeemed at Diango, and the code doesn't expire.
What do you guys think of that?

I bet thats the code for people who attend Runefest. You get some unique item or something.
I really hope Jagex don't do this :\
GRRRRRR i really hope not either becuase a large amount of players live outside the UK and not many of them can afford to fly over for runefest.
It would just be one item...

I don't think these armours are comparable to non dungeoneering armours. The armour requiring 40 defence does not have similar stats to rune as far as I can tell and I highly doubt they follow the same order that Paw Claw has suggested. Doesn't Bandos have lwoer defence than Barrows?

Well the whip can train strength, it has a controlled option. It jsut lacks an out and out strength (aggressive) option. I doubt it would impact the price that much, after all strength or no strength it still pretty much the only weapon (for general use) the encompasses speed (fastest in-game wep speed u can get atm), accuracy (comapred to other high end weps the whip is verrryyyy accurate) and decent hits (not as epic as the ss or gs etc can pour out but decent enough that the speed and accuracy make for one of the highest dps in game)

I only pay membership to play the game really, if Jagex announced they were gonna stop updating the game, I would still pay for the additional content. Updates are an added bonus.

This is the first Skeletal Wyvern task I've ever done. I only recently removed them from my block list. I'm suprised at how easy they are, and at the same time how absolutely dire their drops are.

Yeah but you can sell Armadyl back, Void you have to spend a lot of time getting, and that's all you get for it.

Personally, I'm in the middle of getting 99 Ranged through slayer and I find it very fun, I know it is much slower than chinning but I didn't enjoy that.

You can use a hexcrest and focus sight on a slayer helm to get a full slayer helm. You need both the hexcrest and focus sight.
