Kalphite
If discovered that if I can just convey the shape of the object, that will make it pop more than any fancy shading tricks I can think of.

Kalphite
Head finished. The hard part isnt the shading, but just conceptualizing the Kalphite well enough to understand how the light would fall on her. Probably not Jepa.

Bestest Pixle WIP by me ever...just need help with the hand.
Lets see. -He has these little boomerang upside down that dont look like a texture and I assume are folding attempts? Heres a thought for learning to make proper folds- Drape some curtains over a chair and draw it, or over a family member optimaly if you can get them to stand still -His hood goes all the way to his shoulders. The hood should go very slightly outside his neck, and his shoulders in turn should be a heads width apart from the neck. One of two things is wrong here- The body is too small, or the head is too big. Simple. And there is no middle ground here- theres one or the other, you need to make a descision, or this is never going to look good. -Hes far to skinny. I dont care if he was 'supposed to be skinny or not', your body can not physicaly, not -possibly- be that small in conjuntion with a head that large. His neck is the size of his abdomen. -His waist is too far up. If his head is going to be this big, and the sig size remains constant, his waste should not be present in the sig -Even if he were that skinny, robes are not meant to cling to the skin, and your shading certainly gives no idication that its clingy anyways. The shoulders would support the robes till they hit the pelvis, and the robes would basicaly fall off the shoulders giving him a pretty uniform width. Theres alot more that you can improve on pixelwise, but I'd rather see you stop pixeling and simply learn what a human looks like, but thats wishful thinking. You'll probably keep bumbling on human anatomy and correcting your errors piecemeal. Just remember that you could learn basics of anatomy that could help you in any and all mediums in a week or two.

Rare Character
Who you gonna one hit? A rat? With 99 attack and 1 strength, you'd hit constand 2s, max.

Theft.
I also said 'raw, unrefined- with no attempt at pallete unification' I aim to have no more than 30 colors- on the entire piece. That will happen, I guarantee. When I finish, I go through and make sure colours are well used. Your almost complete character doesnt have a buncha stuff thats been roughly colored in in the background either. I beleive almost half the colors used are in the background for rough color direction. And even he is still unfinished, I'll be adjusting colors on him to conform with other colors in the piece later anyways. Notice I didnt say the color count in the original post because I thought that this sort of post might pop up. Also, I stand by that no- On almost all armour used for say, footsoldiers or utilitarian users, muscles would never show through. But, I exempted this guy, as I said to myself, 'y'know, I bet he could afford to have the extra flair to his breatplate, he's got stylistic finish to his armour. Notice the anatomical inaccuracy- its not real, its been hammered in to make him more imposing.

Where do you f2p'ers train?
Well, on my new main account (to take the place of my hacked one) I started killing chickens till I was level 7, getting around 300 feathers. Afterwards, I trained at the cow patch my combat stats all to 20, then I safespotted range to 20 and magic to 25 on gaurds. At that point, level 27, I trained on the gaurds for melee till 40 atk. Then, with my rune scimitar in hand, I moved on to the security stronghold. I killed flesh crawlers, and flew by to 27 defense. Then I thought I should try Minotaurs (level 27) and see how it was there. I've gotten 40 defense now. Not sure if I should go back to flesh crawlers or stay at the Minotaurs though.

I love the beard. :3> I wish I had a beard like that. Colors? 37. Very raw thus far, I havent attempted refinement or unification, just made sure not to use duplicates on my detailed portions.

Complete Pest Control Sig Rate + CC
You understand that Pillowshading is a very bad practice and wont earn you respect, correct?
-
Complete Pest Control Sig Rate + CC
I dont think this is true, but from what I can see it seems like you dont have a sense of proportion, relative sizing, shapes, aestheticism, or depth. The only shading technique you know is dithering and you have a need to pillowshade everything. Also, you appear to have never have seen a tree and what you've done with the tree is based on conjecture based on rumours. Hopefully, thats untrue, but thats what I see when I read the picture. Another hope is that you not simply skip over critique you dont want to hear. :|

First finished PIXEL in a long time.
I can tell you wanted this finished, Jab. Well, like I've told you before, the characters pale in comparison to the background and whatnot. Excellent bg, not so excellent people. Do a landscape next time.
