personally i think jagex wants to manipulate plate, they wanted some in the game then changed demons which with jagex they usually have the updates ready but wait for the items to come in before they change... so they add chain to frequent pvp drops.. i remember leaks of a few things such as new prayer menu without scroll bar.. so jagex add newprayer menu with, 2 weeks later they said they redid prayer menu to the exact one without a scroll bar leaked menu months earlier. Short story, This doesnt suprise me, jagex wish to manipulate plate and wants dragon to be a valuable item as always, and wants the plate to be yesterdays news
