Nah they're useless I wouldnt pay to wear them, owned many and given them away or lost them due to the fact when you have it its boring, when you dont have it its agony. They should spend the money on skills really, lending a weapon fair enough but an item that boosts nothing.

They wouldnt have a level and they'd be unkillable imo.

I think I wouldnt use them personally if they're on another fansite sorry.

i can get 100 arma kills in trio formation if I Combo Fruitbat with Tortoise :D is the 'glitch' reportable? If it's an unfair advantage then yes it's reportable if you're not sure don't abuse it .

You're predicting the new skill lowers the hits of other players? They mentioned it has NEVER been done before in other games, and there's a skill for that already, it's called defence ;) And isn't dodging really just agility anyway?

I say instead of making a new skill or raising hp limit, just keep it the same, if it ain't broken don't fix it.

That's why I hope the big names like Excl are left out, but his video was just too good for that. :( I really didn't rate his video that highly, lots of people made a "what should i do for machinima comp vid" it was an overused vid idea infact, if was a mixture of that and a collaberation of his old ideas, with one new idea which was kicking mod mmg. There were better entrys than Excls imo such as Arrow Guns, or the Cheese on as somebody mentioned, sound of skilling is boring after 20-30 seconds for me, Excl has the fanbase to win the competition however.

Heh I used to do animated fakes like that, took hours though, manually cropping each frame editing in items etc its a pain in the.. lol :P Was quite good though, although some areas where a little sketchy, nicely composed though ;)

Usually a big summer update or two, this year MA possibly another I wouldn't rule it out but I dont mind I mean i'm satisfied with updates atm, and with what's coming in next few months.

I think they're looking for creativity and potential to be honest with you, they shortlist it then the winner is the one with the biggest fanbase after that tbh.

I'd like codependant skills in runescape really, such as special things in smithing table with 70 mining and 70 smithing requirement instead of just one, motivates people to get both up, and much better guilds is one thing we're lacking. I agree with the weapons and armour thing as we do need more unique types, maybe even enchantable armours that require higher leveled magic, It's started to come in recently with spirit shields and dragonfire shield I hope its an on-going thing.

Correct. WoW's biggest competitor will be next year, made by themselves (Blizzard) with Diablo 3 in my opinion. Have to also take into account the experience blizzard has as a developer, where as Jagexs first and only hit was RuneScape.

I still prefer runescape, played WoW for a while and I just prefer runescapes interface, I think the month I played WoW it was down quite alot for maintenence and it was also heavy on the harddrive with the updates not sure if that always happens, two different approaches to a RPG the quests in rs are alot better, the community although is really bad in RS, I still find it alot better than in WoW. Rs is my preference and I wouldn't go back to WoW if or when I quit RS, I wouldnt go to another RPG as I would feel like I've spent too much time on RPGs and it's time to move on. I agree with that, but it's also nice to come on weekly and see an update and go and participate in that, getting lost in crowds of people flooding to do a new quest, all discussing it in a thread in here or whatnot. if JaGex released yearly content it'd be; 1) Virtually no bugs as it'd have extensive testing. Gives them more ground to cover, really test it from every angle and avoid implications as we've seen in recent months with bugs. 2) Give them more time to tweak it think hmm we don't like it, what if we went with this approach? every week is abit of a rush and you sometimes release things that aren't good it's frantic, if you let it stew then you really get to see what's working what you don't like and aren't smothered by the work, could be releasing development diarys of future content getting the communitys feedback on what they like. 3) Would be a hell of a download and overwhelming. Weekly updates are updates that take around 10-20 seconds to download so it's easier to download, if jagex did yearly updates instead it'd take so long to download people would be frustrated right now sometimes you get download server full, meaning jagex have to pay more hosting fees. 4) A few players might move on and get bored. Lack of content might make people get tiresome of the weekly updates and decide to move onto another game, such as WoW where it's just on a broader scale. 5) Don't we have that balance already? Yes we have small updates every week, but during the year we also get huge pieces of content, such as a new skill, a huge quest, a new monster, a massive change to the game engine. Every developer has "differente departments" Jagex prefers the approach of smaller updates, with small filesizes, runescape can fit on a 1gb pendrive, I'm pretty sure WoW can't and RuneScape attracts different audiences, so many more skills, WoW You're limited to classes, RuneScape you're not, you can afford to mix and match, you don't find the gameplay in other games that you do in RuneScape, the monsters are different, and RuneScape is actually partly educational.. and bugs get fixed within a matter of hours depending on the severity of the bug so you can't really say that.. WoW has a greater learning curve than RuneScape I'll say that much, with certain classes doing different things but RuneScape is so much simpler with the combat triangle, which to be honest with you simplicity is sometimes the key.

Did it release day at like 100 combat with no trouble so not really lol I want a quest with black arm/heroes gangs but like WGS or even harder that requires team work, and say one has to have different requirements for, maybe even some 90+ stats, would seriously love that, but It will never happen lol.
