Awesome, just got all the pieces and boy is the sceptre a noob magnet like you guys said :D Catabelons give the most trouble, both fighting it and the chances of dropping a top sceptre half, I'd recommend getting their pieces last. Even the lvl75 ghost thingies are better (since they dont curse you every half a minute).

Like I said I was away for a long long time, I forgot that hp regenerates on its own :oops: I'm going back there today, just fished lots of lobs. Now I just need a seller of rune helm...

LOL boy am i pissed So i went in, killed quite a bit, got some good stuff (~400 iron arrows, various gems, and some gold) went to lvl68, out of food, tried to tele to falador with 7 hp left, and got the abyss chamber...yeah i was away for about a year...died

I was around before dragon slayer came out that's all I remember. Back then I was noob (still is today lol) and doesn't have the patience or the will to get lots of money (still is today >.>). Anyway I kinda buckled down and ubered up my fishing and cooking levels, got about 2k lobsters, and sold then for 150gp each. Keep in mind this is back in the RSC days when Santas cost 100-250k. I bought a santa for 200k, and turns out that I didn't like it, so finally managed to trade it and another 100k for a blue mask. Now here's when things gets messy. After a while, I sold it for 400k, then realized I really liked it, and this was just before halloween 2004, so I bought it back for 600k, then afterwards sold it for 800k, and bought it back again for 900k >.> Now I just keep it in my bank. I quit for awhile and came back recently, and my friend told me its worth 28 mil now(doubt it, but i know its in the millions mark) and wants me to sell it...not making that mistake again lol.

it wouldnt run on firefox either. i have IE, firefox, and mozilla. i use IE for rs, which is where the problem started, and i use firefox for everything else.

My last topic got turned into a discussion/arguement so im restarting a new one :( my IE could run rs fine a few month ago, but now rs wont load. i tried to dl and install SUN java, and more problems comes when i tries to play rs(under SUN java) it says to dl and install plug in 1.4.2, which i do, but then it wouldnt install, saying the package doesnt exist. i read over the topics, and couldnt find this java plug in control panel, i only have a java control panel, which is very different when opened... Help?

Yep it use firefox :) Mercifull: Yes i did read that topic and did everything the topics said, including looking over stuff in the "FAQ" section. I might not have made this clear, but im talking about SUN java here... All that said, my original question was why can't i install the plugin 1.4.2 from the SUN website. I download it but nothing comes up

Ok i checked out the sticky and the faq but didnt see anything about this. What happened is that somehow, i could only use 1 server/world when playing RS. for example, only world 8 would load 1 day, then only world 47 would load another day. So i decided to do what the sticky said: dl the sun java, check box it and uncheck box the MS java, restart, etc. So i load up rs, and this message comes up: install java plug-in 1.4.2 so i click install, and java installer come up then this error message: "This intallation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windos Installer package." Help? btw, the java that appears on my internet options advaced tab is "JRE 1.5.0_01 for (requires restart)" if that is any help. Thanks in advance
