  1. No need to crow about this all day long. We need to appreciate Jagex and not ostrichize them. Sorry.[/b]
  2. The show is (and I forget the title) about a family of dwarves living in a big world. In fact, I think it was called Little People, Big World or something. Anyway, the sister was yelling at the brother to get off the computer because she had it first and the brother says, "Oh come on, I know you'll just play RuneScape all day. And that's a stupid game anyway!" The sister says, "So what if I play RuneScape, and it's not a stupid game!" And then I switched the channel. FYI, nothing too important to see here.
  3. I use only about two four-dose potions. The rest are insurance. ANd my signature is vastly outdated.
  4. I've done a bajillion Barrow's runs, and managed to snag Verac's Plateskirt and just recently his Brassard. But I'm wondering if I'm going about it the wrong way. Some general stats: Armoured Brothers Farseer Helm Blue Mystic Top/Bottom/Boots Gloves from Culimancer's (sp?) chest Saradomin cape Glory amulet Ring of Life Holy prayer book Air battlestaff For the Archer and Mage Brother Archer's Helm Red dragon chest/legs Gloves from Culimancer's (sp?) chest Saradomin Cape Glory Amulet Ring of Life Holy prayer book Karil - DDS for the special, and whip for normal Ahrim - Magic shortbow with Mithril arrows Spells - I used to do Iban blasts but having to recharge the blasted thing wasn't worth it. I've switched to Fire Wave. Inventory - Ectophial, spade, holy wrench, druid pouch to protect food from Ghasts, eight potatos with sweetcorn and tuna for food, and roughly eight prayer potions (4 doses). I always manage all right, I have never died there; but I don't want to break my bank waiting for a Barrow's drop.
  5. Awesome! At least two people had the exact same experiance as me! It's a small world . . .
  6. I agree. TechTV had a certain feeling about it that was lost when it was changed. Even though they did show their channel's logo a little too much . . .
  7. DISCLAIMER: The following is a boring account on how I found RuneScape. If you feel this is a waste of your time, go bake a pie. Years and years ago, I was watching a TV show called (racks memory . . . ) I think it was Call for Help on TechTV (now called G4TV). They had a section of the show everyday called Kat's Klicks where a lady named Kat showed something cool on the internet. That fateful day, it was RuneScape. This was years ago, mind you. I wasn't even particularly looking for this archived episode on their website, it was just pure chance (or fate). She said that RuneScape was a pretty cool Java-based MMORPG, but with bad lag. I decided I'll try it for myself. This was approximately a month or so after RuneScape was released to the general public. Long story short, I got hooked. I started out with a guy named KingWindsor, scratched him and made King Jeff VI, and the rest is history. Anyway, I said all that to say this: did anyone else see this particular TV episode? TechTV was a popular channel, so I was just wondering. If this is spam, you can banish me to the Seventh Circle of the Inferno.
  8. The cutscene in the Slug Menace sequel where the slug is speaking through the dead body was creepy . . .
  9. Those "randomly generated scenearios for you and your friends" sound very much like the instances in World of Warcraft. I can only hope . . .
  10. Even if you get +1, if you drink tea again it will go up another level.
  11. Just because you were proven wrong dosn't mean you have a right to be a jackass. It's not a huge bug, but its a bug, and a quick fix if Jagex knows about it.
  12. ZOMG! YOU DIDN"T READ THE REST OF THE THREAD! The quest titles don't stop at the black lines. It dosn't matter where the scroll bar is.
  13. 20 rooms . . . well, It won't be a mansion, but it'll make a nice little cottage :D
