Contrary to belief, Dragon boots offer no Ranged Defense bonuses (you need no other defense bonuses for Aviansies, only Ranged) and Dragon Boots actually decrease Ranged Offense bonus by 1 (-1 Ranged Attack bonus). You are also better off not wearing boots as opposed to wearing Dragon Boots :D Use Snakeskin Boots instead, as they don't decrease your Ranged Offense bonuses. (they increase your Ranged Attack bonus by +3) Snakeskin Boots are also much cheaper, a mere 14k~, as opposed to the cost of Dragon Boots, 290k~. Get a Granite Shield as opposed to an Obsidian Shield, buy Zamorak D'hide body. and do this: Get a Saradomin Cape, wear until you get into the Eeyrie, then drop it or keep it in your inventory and then switch it off for an Accumulator, as the Accumulator is essential! At 75 Defense and with only Dragon armor, you would get torn apart there. Just buy Torag's Armor, degrading costs are overrated. Dragon is [Cabbage] there. I never tested Regan Brace, may be an awesome discovery. Take into consider my advice - I have been killing these since level 78 Ranged til now (95 Ranged) and will be killing these until 99 Ranged.

Dharoking is possible, but way too risky - as the zombies can use a ranged attack when you are not within melee space of them. I would suggest using normal prayer boosting Slayer armor (no Slayer Helm and replace fury/glory with salve (e) amulet and using the altar every few minutes for piety. Armoured Zombies are better experience and cash than Ghostly Warriors, also Armoured Zombies drop charms. I reached around 90k Defense experience/hour at my stats, which are rather low. While I clocked in around 80k~ Defense experience/hour at Ghostly Warriors. It is also much easier to make the Armoured Zombies aggressive once again, as you don't run into revenants as you sometimes do while trying to make the Ghostly Warriors aggressive once again and risk being tele-blocked/killed.

You think I would have never have thought of that? No, after unpluging every phone line in the house, our connection still goes dead whenever the phone rings, and we don't receive the phone call.

Attempt #4 - Failure. Telemarketer called our house between wave 61 and 62 - which disrupts our connection for around 65 seconds. This kicked me out the caves. This is the 4th time a phone call killed my connection at the Fight Caves.

In about 10 minutes or so, I will be attempting one of my sought after goals - finally getting the Firecape! But before I leave, I want to now if I have what it takes, any last minute changes to my inventory, equipment, and any quick tips to make my trip a success. My stats can be accessed via my profile to the left. I am willing to spend around 1m to alter my equipment/supplies, but am unwilling to do any quests. My friend (sirhemen) may lend me his Saradomin Godsword for the trip, but is it essential or just nice to have, and to what extent? So, am I stuff enough to topple Tz-Tok Jad?

I believe Guthan's is better only when you also want a strong combat familiar.

Aviansies are the best non-rare drop reliant moneymaker for ranged. The next best thing I believe are Green Dragons, and they aren't nearly as good.

It is truly worth the money, if you can cut at least 2k Yews a day, it will play itself off in two days. It cuts at the rate of a Rune Axe + 15%, it is a must have for any half-serious woodcutter. If you have a long term goal with Woodcutting, such as 85 or even 99 from your current level, then defiantly buy it. If you are using it for a short time frame, such as one or two levels for a quest, don't bother. Summary of my short paragraph: If you want to go up by 5+ Woodcutting levels: Buy it. If you want to go up by 1-5 Woodcutting levels: Don't bother.
