If your as new as you say learn these. Short hop, fast fall, auto cancel, priority, how to camp/approach. Just a few things. MINDGAMES. most important. Hell, I don't know how to do half that. I say just to play pretty good people, you could practice on me, 7/10 fingers Crazy. :D

Argh, I was playing horrible, I only had to use of 7 out of 10 fingers (minus two thumbs) ;( The lag and my TV's image messing up didn't help much either.

I think your friend means he is getting hurt while at his spot and is looking for better spots. I also think he is under the rocks and it is hard for your friend to position the skeletons properly while avoiding the [bleep]es. He is most probably looking for advice on strategy and area. :)
