A friend of mine made 800m in about 5 weeks after free trade, starting with 200m. From what I understand, flipping got easier with free trade (the buy limits are relaxed) - no firsthand experience since I haven't played in awhile though.

Well, looking at Calzo's posts half makes me wish I'd tried the same instead of staying away...that being said, I still mistrust the market...

Well, I decided to sell my 3rd age plate/legs after all. My plan was to trade around a bit and try to maximize the trade value of my 3rd age - I traded the plate for range top and bottom and mage hat, then accidentally sold my legs in the ge when putting those up, so I lost out on like 7m (guessing I could've converted the legs into roughly 200m trade price in 3rd) Still, considering that I bought the 3a legs on the ge for almost exactly 50m less than I sold them for, I'd say it was a pretty good deal. I kind of want to sell my 3a plate/legs, but then I wouldn't know what to wear when I'm skilling :roll:

And degrading instantly surprised you? Ever used barrows? It does the same thing. Still, nice luck :)

The cash for it? You already have the required firemaking level, and you can do it all with maple logs, what takes cash? Anyway, back on topic, very nice achievement, I love my adze, 9/10 \
