A friend of mine made 800m in about 5 weeks after free trade, starting with 200m. From what I understand, flipping got easier with free trade (the buy limits are relaxed) - no firsthand experience since I haven't played in awhile though.

Well, looking at Calzo's posts half makes me wish I'd tried the same instead of staying away...that being said, I still mistrust the market...

Well, I decided to sell my 3rd age plate/legs after all. My plan was to trade around a bit and try to maximize the trade value of my 3rd age - I traded the plate for range top and bottom and mage hat, then accidentally sold my legs in the ge when putting those up, so I lost out on like 7m (guessing I could've converted the legs into roughly 200m trade price in 3rd) Still, considering that I bought the 3a legs on the ge for almost exactly 50m less than I sold them for, I'd say it was a pretty good deal. I kind of want to sell my 3a plate/legs, but then I wouldn't know what to wear when I'm skilling :roll:

And degrading instantly surprised you? Ever used barrows? It does the same thing. Still, nice luck :)

Yeah, it's kinda hard to play sports with him when I'm going to college. Anyway, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I think it's cool playing with him, it's a way to stay in touch better...

Nope, not about the quest, the name just fit. I remember getting my first farming level, a long time ago, by raking weeds, so I decided it would be fitting to get my last farming level the same way. Oh yeah, my dad got 99 farming at the same time, and we both got exactly 13034431 experience :D

9/10, I'd never be able to stick to one thing for so long if my playing time were that limited. I don't care if it's one of the easier 99s to get, any 99 is an accomplishment, and wear the cape proudly when you get it :D

not exactly sure, but 55-60m range. What the... Adamant plates super fast and super cheap? Could've sworn it used to be 4 times that using addy bars... They changed the high alch value of addy plates awhile back, now they own :D - it did used to be 4 times that. Awesome level, I plan on doing the same thing, excpet I got tired of making bolts and want a few mage levels, so I'm superheating gold ore to 88 :P 10/10

If I had a white phat I could probably sell it with my legs for cash. The best way to get 3rd age is to happen to be at the ge when the price goes up (that's how I got my legs in the first place :) )

Grats on 160m exp! Ok, I thought you'd picked up all the ashes, I was like :shock: I wish jagex would do the stat page like yours, you fit them all in without a scroll bar. To mathisfun: Sadly, Kn1gh7 K1n6's fake interfaces are always much nicer than Jagex's (though the new hp, etc indicators are awesome). That's a fake bank interface, just like all his lvl up pics have fake interfaces.

Best of luck to you! How do you plan on getting charms for 99 without getting combat stats to 99? I guess using familiars to kill stuff for charms might work...interesting.

Just posting this to let everyone know that sometimes, when harvesting an herb patch with spirit weed planted in it, you will recieve harralander or tarromin instead. The yield also acts as if there is no compost (I just got 3 tarromin out of a patch I supercomposted a spirit weed seed in - great yield from a 16.5k seed, right?) Anyway, hope it's fixed soon, it's a real pain.

I agree that having fun > having useless hats, but what if people find having useless hats to actually be fun? I know I did for awhile, and now I refuse to sell because of the stupid prices :roll: Anyway, prices appear to be bouncing back, and based on the speed of their recovery (a few well-known people bought tons of rares at their minimum price yesterday) I think this was a large-scale manipulation, made possible by the natural market variations due to updates creating uncertainty in many sellers. Anyway, I feel for all the people who did stuff like sell their yellow phat 143m, but prices are on the rise. I still say what I always say, and keep it if you like it, but sell it if you don't want it anymore.
