Matter of personal opinion there, I've had lots of santas before, but the problem with them is that they have a different shade of red, and it doesn't match my outfit, whereas the phat does. I might add one santa to the phat at some point when I come back but for the most part I plan on spending my money on skills (which is what I always tell myself...it's what I told myself before I went from yellow to red too :roll: ) And gotjello, that's already been mentioned several times...and I've already pointed out that I can easily amass several mil from things I don't really need if I ever need cash...trust me, I've already sold a couple things and am at 1.1m, and I'm not even playing more than a few minutes here and there at the moment.

Actually, there's really no basis for your prediction of what will happen, because this is the first time that rares have flatlined for a year and then increased. Historically rares have done very well in the summer months, which didn't happen this year, so there's no telling what will happen in the coming months either.

Yeah, not much cash atm :roll: Have some money in miscellania, I'll sell the rewards for some free cash when I get back. I also sold most of the maple logs so I have about 1m cash now, and I can sell my outfit when I come back for equipment to do barrows or something. As for what's happening, I posted an identical bank pic with the phat on the bottom line of the bank (out of sight) and posted it awhile ago. I wanted to see if the majority of people focused on the phat when it was there, and how the ratings were different when about 95% of my net worth wasn't in the bank. Of course, posting two nearly identical bank pictures on the same site and expecting the responses to be uninfluenced by the original thread proved to be a mistake on my part.

Dunno...and yeah, I can convert some of my "showy" items and other stuff I don't need into several mil to buy useful stuff if I need to, but I'm not exactly playing much anymore. I assume you just have other random items that you don't consider random...

not really, a bank wouldnt depend upon one item to make it look good. What if it was valuable? On most of the rate this threads with rares in the bank, it seems like most of the bank is meaningless and everyone focuses on the rares. I actually agree with you :) but from what I've seen most people would focus on the $$ and not care what the rest of the bank looked like. I'd probably save prayer for then though, it's much pleasanter to train with members only options :wink: Just work on skills (str or whatever, I've never done much with pures...) until you get bored and want to get new monsters and a training boost with new equipment :mrgreen:

Grats on 99 attack, kinda funny that's pretty much where I want to take my stats now (buy 99 ranged with chins, then defence, hp when it happens, and attack), except I'm sitting on firemaking instead of cooking :D

Very rough estimate: 40m I would have missed the battlestaves if they hadn't been mentioned, but those are included. I think I hit everything of significant worth, but I did it in my head with rough values...if I didn't miss anything of value it's probably within 5m though.

Not sure, just know I'm high enough :wink: I have over 1m now, sold off 12k maple logs and the black (g) plate...I have the zammy robes and black cav because lately I've been in more of a skilling mode than a combat mode, and I'd rather wear something that looks nice (in my opinion) while skilling than something that gives me bonuses. The zammy cape is because I don't really like how fire cape looks so I only use it for combat, the firemaking cape doesn't quite match the colors (still looks great though), and since I'm f2p the quest cape would have unequipped as soon as a new quest came out. I'm f2p right now, so I don't know what they all are :wall: That's the only reason I was able to spend time organizing the bank instead of running off to do something lol... Once I get members back I can clean out some of the low-dose pots and such. Umm...the 138 pots are mage pots, not ranged, the 370 are super energy, pretty sure the 696 herbs are kwuarms, the other high-stack herbs are probably low level, and the rest of the pots are either identifiable by color (antifire pots are purple :wink: ) or a small enough quantity to be inconsequential.

I pretty much agreed with the letters, I've played for over 4 years now, and I must say I've started playing too much (except I canceled my membership to focus on college applications). I used to enjoy doing a little skilling, merchanting, barrows, etc, then breaking it up with a quest or two. Well, now merchanting's boring, I have to wait a couple weeks for a new (usually short/easy) quest to come out since I've done them all, and my skills are at a point where I have to make a serious time commitment to them. I've noticed myself putting more and more time into the game, and while it's fun, it really is a waste. Now, come winter break I'll probably be back frittering my life away... :? I can say for sure that I wouldn't be playing this game now (or beyond a few days in fact) if it wasn't multiplayer. I have "wasted" so much ingame time talking to other people about all sorts of stuff, which in fact isn't really a waste, but far more valuable (in regards to real life) than getting that level or new item. Trust me, getting the latest and greatest item (or oldest and still greatest in the case of phats) is cool for awhile, but it gets boring...I recently wasted an entire day selling random items and upgrading my yellow phat to a red one...as soon as I got the red I logged off, because the whole process had made me frustrated. And now? I wear my black cav ~90% of the time anyway :roll: Bottom line: Play the game if you enjoy it, but don't get too focused on such and such an item or skill, and don't forget your friends (online and in real life), they matter more than anything :wink:
