Monkfish probably heals 16 because they felt a need for something between swordfish and sharks, and swordies were the second best fish for a LONG time...besides, I've had swordfish, and it's pretty bland

Ring of life is a life saver, not 100% of course, but I lost connection apparently as soon as I spawned karil in tunnel, woke up in fally, was like "what happened, I still have 58 hp"...take 1 step, hp is 6 now...good luck :D Biggest loss was 19k chaos and 57k air runes when I was killing blue dragons at ogre enclave and attacked an ogre shaman instead :wall: ...oh well, I got over it, that was over 3m at the time though

Wish that I'd met someone as nice as that when I accidentally attacked an ogre shaman while MAGING blue dragons...don't ask why, but I had 19k chaos runes on me (150 ea at the time) and 57k airs...when I got back some guy was standing right where I died, I was like "did you get my stuff?" and he just said "no and I just got a clue scroll" and logged out...he was much higher level than me and much richer too, but oh well... I just wish he would've told the truth, even if he did decide to keep my stuff

I use 17, 19, or 23 depending on how I'm feeling, maybe 13 if I'm in a hurry, but basically I never open a chest without my kill count being a prime number :) ...it seems to work pretty well, I get items quite frequently

Awhile back at barrows, some guy was selling full guthan on forums while he was barrowing, and he accidentally put on protect ranged instead of melee on dharok...he got hit a few 0s, then 45 44 KO...he came back as he was falling and said "ffs"...anyway, poor guy lost a fire cape too in all this, but I got the whip and a couple other things, the guy who got most of the rest (my inv had 1 free slot, so had to drop food to grab the rest) didn't believe me when I said I got whip. I sold it back to him like 300k under market price, still sweet deal for me though :)

One thing: I agree with you in that I think they will not release RS2, but they are going to release a completely new game according to their corporate site. Not sure how similar it will be, but obviously it will have new quests, a new world, etc.

Their corporate site says nothing about stopping development on runescape, and a post by Andrew (sticky in Recent Updates) states that he has no plans to stop working on it, he has spent the past 8 years of his life on it. I was just pointing out that Jagex IS *concurrently* developing a new game

According to the Jagex corporate site (http://www.jagex.com/corporate/index.ws), they are currently developing a new game, while at the same time staying committed to the old game. It is my belief that Jagex realizes they can't keep the game interesting enough for higher level people forever, and that they are also trying to attract more people with a new game. Anyway, just thought I'd point out this small inconsistency I noticed, though I liked the article and agree with most of what was said.

My friend killed over 46k before a chain (kept track of kills with hp exp), he got 3 left halves before the chain and is now trying to set the record for most kills without a second chain, he has the record for most reported kills before the first chain.

One note on Mourning's End Part 2... After getting through the mourner place, you can change into whatever armor you want, I used black dragonhide and it was really useful...though I still agree that puzzles and high damage monsters should not be mixed, I would have really enjoyed doing the quest without a guide, but the shadows made me decide to use a guide in order to minimize wasted food. :x :XD:
