Somewhere in an old thread I've read about the max. experience per tool. I still remember that hammers have a relative long lifetime. Who can state the experience / 100% charges / morphic tool? If a mod reads this: shouldnt this be added to the minigame guide?

Evil tree will never become as popular as star hunting without a 'telescope-surrogate'. How can you cut 2 trees a day if you dont know when they will sprout (in a 2 hours interval?)

I've read different reports about the speed of the clay pick. Is it now as fast as a rune pick (in contrary to last year reports being as fast as a bronze pick)?

No offence, but you're probably not experienced in 'fast' kills ;) I quitted on blacks because of all the lower lvl rangers taking ages for a kill there. I strongly recommend 95+ + rangepots. If you're serious on slaying or visage-hunting it's a must!

A while ago I heard some rumours about the leaf-bladed sword being an excellent weapon for certain bigger (boss-) monsters? Who knows more about this? (Not talking about Kurasks&Thuroths)

Agreed and also isn't it ironic that the shape of many Chaos tunnels causes even more 'dancing' combatfamiliars than in other multi-areas?

The portals work just fine for me. "Surok's power over this portal has been removed, allowing it to function properly" Didnt one of the quests remove this a while ago?

Thx for your quick reply. So, as I understand it is very well possible that there is no class 5 resource available? I did use the familiar and arrows class 4 in my second game for about 55k points. I wil try the barriers next game too :) Btw : Is there a map of the SC area? ( I assume only the resources vary every game, not the bases, rifts, mist, etc)

As I'm (still) a SC noob I was wondering: Is there some logic in the locations of the different class resources? Especially the class 4&5 resources? I assume the spots of the 5 resources are different every game? (I only played 2 times yet) First time I couldnt find a class 5 spot anywhere, the second time only a class 5 swarm, while I had focused on rocks/trees bringing only a class 4 pick axe&axe. Bottomline; I was running far too much looking for the right spots..... :(

your numbers seem correct, I averaged 250 minimum per hour with artic bear. What is the 1-spawn method? I'm currently using the spot south-south-east of the lake.

What is average number of chins/hour for my lvl (84 atm)? Is there a difference in exp between the various main huntingspots(southside lake atm)? Do hunting familiars help a lot ?

True. It's just the fact that i've long periods that I play max 30 minutes- 1 hour/day. In these periods a rock lobster trip takes just too long seeing that I need/want to do so many other things in rs too.... Probably I was a bit naive hoping for some forgotten monsters in the Chaos tunnels that could drop some charms too ;)

I would like to have an alternative for lobsters for those moments that I only have 30-60 minutes playtime. Let's call it the quick & easy way, though I realise the result will be much less.

What other monsters (in multi) are possible besides rock lobsters? If possible add info about what charms and total charms/1000 casts or hour?
