I'm currently training it with Stealing Creation tools, it breaks up the training and saves you half the money it would cost normally. It's a worthwhile method as I play in a non-cmb clan and average 24 points p/15mins, I use the needles to make Green Dragonhide Bodies. You will still loose quite alot of money but I have been buying and selling stuff at the GE while im crafting and playing SC. In the last 2 weeks I have gone from 87 to 95 crafting and from 45m cash to 51m cash using this method...

By the end of the weekend I should be 95 crafting. Add me if you like, I'm always happy to recieve free xp... :wink:

Good to see you had some success, I had my second item that I didn't make any money on yesturday and that was Rune Platebodies. Ended up selling them for what I bought them for becasue I got bored waiting for them to sell... I tried buying Dragon Bones at 2% under their mid price yesturday and left it for about 8hrs but didn't get a single one. Today I notice there was no change in their price after the last update and I was expecting them to have risen seeing as though I couldn't get any... Not sure what happened there... :?

So far I have only chosen ones that were either 0gp increase from the previous day or a 1 or 2gp increase from the previous day. I have always relisted them as soon as buy them but with the items I have bought large quantities of they never sell for at least 4hrs due to the limit... I will definitely be trying things like Barrows armour once I get a bit more experience in this whole buying and selling game...

I've started doing this like 3 days ago and it's been going ok so far. I've made about 20 transactions so far and made money on every one, apart from nature runes which I sold for the same price I bought them for as they were taking ages to sell and I was starting to panic. Things I have been trading are. Yew longbows strung and un-strung. Cannonballs (only on the first day, they've dropped since). Cut emeralds. Monkfish, cooked and raw. Lobsters, cooked and raw. Cooked Swordfish. Cow hides. There's a couple of other things but I don't remember now. The way I've been choosing what to do is by only choosing items that either didn't change or went up by a couple of gps the day before and by choosing items I think are traded often.

Thanks a lot for the help everyone. I tried the Graahk method last night and thought it was much better than the Abyss, I'll definitely be trying out the blackjacking for leveling up thieving aswell!... I have used the Wilderness course before but never knew about worlds 2 and 151!... :D

Hi, So I haven't played this game in about a year up until this weekend and I'm a little out of touch as to what the best methods for levelling up certain skills are. If I'm going to start playing again I need a few goals... Forgetting Dungeoneering I have 4 skills lower than 65 and would like to get them up: Agility - I was thinking the Ape Atoll course, but is there a better method for my level? Construction - I was thinking oak planks, but what is the fastest way to get through them, without using those special hammers I need like 2800ish and want to limit my trips to the bank as much as possible. Thieving - I tried pyramid plunder along time ago but found it quite boring, is there an alternative or is that still my best bet. Runecrafting - I absolutely dispise this skill, if I did natures at the place (forgot the name) where you run from Edgeville into the wilderness then I would need 22,000 nature runes... If any of you Guys could help me out with this it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers...

Just finished crafting around 1400 Dragonhide Bodies which has gotten me 85 Crafting!... :thumbsup: I now have a dilema, if I want to get 90 Crafting its going to cost me around 14M - I don't have quite that but I may well sell my Armadyl Plate to raise the cash... Hmmmm.....

Hi Im Avid43 a 21 year old male from England. I work 40hours p/week and play RS occasionally in my spare time... [hide=A Bit of My History...]I first played this game years ago, I have no idea when but I would hazard a guess at 2002. I had an account and played that for a bit but soon lost interest and gave up. A few years down the line and I saw someone playing this game at school which reminded me about it... That night I was bored and thought I would try it out again, this was in November 2006 I played F2P for a few months until eventually buying membership in March 2007... I carried on playing off an on for a few months and it was at this time that I took my first screenshot... This is on the 1st November 2007 so was pretty much a year since I started my account.... Since then I have taken 2 breaks, once for around 3 months and once for 2 months, this has mostly been due to me not having anytime to play or having something better to do.... To this day I dont know why it says I made my TIF account in February 2006 because my first post wasnt made until November 2007 which makes much more sense. I have always thought about starting a blog on TIF but I just never got round to it. I would defo say I read way, way more threads than I post in.... Nah I didn't touch the tree apart from to check its health... Next I click on Alain to pay him to clear the patch and he says something like, "That tree is fully grown, what would you like me to do with it" and gives no option to pay to clear it like the others do and he does sometimes...

When farming recently I have noticed that the tree guy Alain in Taverly isn't letting me pay him to clear the patch once I have checked its health, this doesn't happen all the time only occasionally... Has anyone else had this problem?...

Good luck with your blog and your goal mate, I think you have the right approach with this 99 mining thing... You mentioned Lady Shadie and I think she is a perfect example of how to get 99 mining without burning out...

I've seen these two guys wearing a home-made slayer cape they made... I will try and find a link for it, it was a pretty good effort I thought...

I did chins from 63-99 and it took me 120hours...

So basically the Morphic Tool last a smaller amount of time that the Volatile tool but you can choose which ever you want the Morphic Tool to be and the Volatile is random... I think I get that bit now... Is there any data anywhere on how long the tools last depending on level or is it totally random... Basically, say if I wanted to go from 83 to 90 Crafting is there anyway to work out how many tools I would roughly need?... Cheers...

Hi, I'm really confused about the 2 types of Tool rewards you can get from Stealing Creation... Can some one please explain to me the differences between the Volatile and Morphic tools, if for example I wanted to level crafting (I have level 83) then what is the best thing I can do to get the best xp for the time I have to put into the minigame... Cheers...

Its about 120 hours from 63-99 if thats any help to you... Sorry I can't remember anything else I did it so long ago...

I timed how long hunting took me and I can say it was 130hours... Often though I wasn't paying that much attention... At 4hours a day in the week and 11 hours a day at the weekend, that would be 42 hrs p/week so 99 would take you 130/42 = 3.09 weeks... If you wish to know how much you'll make then just use: current chin price x 47,000...
