But is only 7 U$s and in my country (Argentina) there are shops to buy playing time, unlike Runescape while I need to pay via Western Union (each dollar is worth 3,1 $ here, so I end paying more than 3 times the normal, add the W.Union fee....oh hell). Freshwakka beat me to it... They are making such a big scandal just for LAZZYNESS?? I have never used SS or any other similar software, just to be as safe as I could. When I need to use a Calc, 1 click on the windows quickaccess bar, opens Firefox, Tip.it is bookmarked, 1 click and I get to the calcs. Very fast...oh wait, I forgot that you are lazzy...that extra 5 seconds of your life are gone now, just for using a Inet browser to access the Hiscores, calcs or whatever information you need! Jagex has announced that they will implement a group chat, appparently the main reason for the complains, because of the IRC on SS. So, why don't you give them a chance before ranting so much? I agree, though, that they should have released this group chat along with the update, but oh well, the war already started. Some people needs to grow up a little and stop the "give me back meh candy, waaaah!!!" that is overflowding the official rant forums and wait for Jagex to implement the so announced group chat, and maybe some other features in their client. My two cents.- Any mispelling should be ignored, since english is not my first language... P.S: I seriously doubt that most of who are ranting will quit RS or leave members if they didnt intend to do it BEFORE the update, just because of this minor issue.

One question: if you are frozen by ancients, can you range the lamer (I mean the RC "pker")? If so, I will have some fun with those losers soon :twisted:. It seems like they are a bunch of chickens, running when they see the "pked" rushing towards them, now in equal conditions (oh no!!) and ready to take sweet and bloody REVENGE. Lol at them!, such a funny behaviour, so brave!, so....omg, they must be 9 YEARS OLD KIDS, or with a biological age above that but, OH, look!! no brain at all!! There is another method, but this one requires access to the Fairy rings (doesn't need the quest Fairy tale II completed, just starting it to gain access to the network) and at least starting Throne of Miscellania. Equip Dramen or Lunar staff, go to Waterbird Island (the trip is free after the Trials), get the 28 snape grass, sail back to Relleka, run to the next dock (a little east of Jarvald) and go to Miscellania. A couple clicks to North west (north East of the Castle walls) is the Fairy ring. Bank in Zanaris or alternately use the Etceteria bank (I am not sure if you need the Royal Trouble quest to use it...). Certainly is longer than the method for low lvls but still faster than the Hobglobin Peninsula, and it doesn't requires money at all or space taken by tele runes or tablets. The code for Miscellania is CIP (only 2 clicks in the first slot, the rest is already there). Hope this helps :)

No, you can't telegrab anything beyond that gate, I have tried it, lol :P Those skeles are good xp (59 HP), and the lvl 50 spiders in the 3rd lvl of the Security Stronghold are good too (50 hp), but quite boring. At my combat lvl, and being still f2p for this week I train on lvl 75 Ankous. I have got 500 mith ores (wich I sold for 200k in a bit), lots of laws and addy arrows and around 2k rune ess. See if any of those works for you.

Without stats is little what one can do. At 74 fishing I caught 2k lobs in about 10 hours (in 2 days of course). You could sell them raw, for about 220-240 ea, or cook them for the xp (like I did) and sell for a little less. I sold the 2k cooked raws for 450k in world 3 Edgeville in a matter of minutes. So, in maybe a week you could do a couple millions, and getting very valuable xp in the way. P.S: I am F2p, so I was fishing in the karamja docks. Falador=>Karamja, Fish, Tele to Falador, repeat. Is quite fast.

Yes, public chat off is what one usually would do, but if you are fishing and someone ask you something, not responding may end very bad (I saw a post in this forum where a player was banned for "macroing" even when he wasn't macroing). Well, not the subject of this topic, but maybe some spammer read this post and learn that some people get very pissed off by that behaviour, and could even get banned.

By the way, that is spamming (filling the screen with text just to annoy) and in words of a couple Mods, that can be reported under offensive language (if the person don't stop the spamming even if requested for another players) or macroing. I find spamming very annoying, specially when I need to catch 2k lobs in karamja docks, and some noob start with that (one was even asking for money to stop :roll: ). So, please don't spam in Rs....most players dislike that behaviour.

Well, before it happened AVG detected some trojans (byteverify something) and moved the files to the vault. I tried installing some firewalls and allowing the client and the ports but the problem remains. Well, I guess I need to format the Host and see what happens next (damn it :evil:).

Thanks for answering. The problem is that yesterday it was working with exactly the same configuration (the firewall off) and today I get this error. So, nobody is having a similar problem today...? Maybe in some unknown way (to me) the installation of the new e-mule version messed up with my ports? dang.... Well, thanks to anyone who can help me with this problem.

Anyone else is having this problem? I checked in 2 PCs (I am in a LAN connection) and this happens in both (the host and the other computer).

Well, I am getting the error: "unable to connect to update server" when I choose the world or when using the automatic option. Yesterday this wasnt happening. I would like to know if this may be a problem in the Rs servers. I have no firewalls instaled, and the default firewall of the Windows XP SP2 is disabled. Thanks in advance.
