Interesting post. Yeah, the fact that is was the 4th bxp to come around, combined with free trade and the resurgence of bots, made it that the bxp was a lot more passive then past years. I think bxp will always have a trend to cause items to slowly fall then fall a bit more around it as people sell items for exp. But the fact is, it is now in a predictable pattern and players simply stock up. Bots just collect because bots collect. I think it didn't happen on the 3rd one because, well, it takes 3 for humans to get into the pattern of it? Probably boils down to some deep psychology thing about humans and the number 3. It "feels" like it's the right time for humans to understand that it's a pattern but I can't explain it. Also, the 3rd bxp was around with significantly less bots, not as many players were confidant about it being a pattern. Plus, I think prices were still a little crazy due to residual effects of free trade being so recently introduced at that time. An interesting thought is what the next bxp will be like. Given how this one, prices for skills if anything DIPPED, we will see far less people stocking up for the next bxp, at least with the intent to buy. This in turn would lead to spiked up prices for bxp again. Plus, people wouldn't be willing to stock up for bxp without profit, and even then prices should theoretically be a little high around bxp, if nothing else because it messes with the exp/gp ratio. So, I'm predicting a spike next year because I think less people will invest in bxp but the demand will raise all the same. But who the hell knows. The trick to making money on bxp is to buy/sell differently from most other players.

New information because I'm cool like that: Fayrg bones are 15.9 gp/exp and give faster exp then dragon bones. Raurg bones are 17.2 gp/ex and give faster exp then Fayrg bones. However, the GE graph shows items with "jumpy" prices for lack of a better word, as oppose to the smooth "circly" graphs of heavily traded items, meaning if you try to do these you might find the supply rather limited.

For the record, with all the Dragonkin lore and such involved with Zanaris, not to mention that the Fairies are incredibly busy and their leader won't be inclined to help you until you beat Fairy Tale Part 3, I find it probable that you'd need that quest done. The Godfather was a bad ruler who caused the Fairies to be much too busy. I find it a lot more likely that the pirates won't be involved, since the only connection we have so far is they have boats and we don't have a sailing skill. @ Above: I think you should keep saving your points, but wait and see what the aura is like before you buy it. Someone will buy it just to find out.

Well, speaking for myself, the defense I'm trying to make is that a person who is legally classified as a Sex Offender is NOT the same as an actual Sexual Predator. Just pisses me off how people are so quick to judge this person as, read one post above mine for example, a slimeball and a creep. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn't. Do I think his story is true? Maybe. Do I think he's some sort of pervert that deserved what happened to him? Maybe. I don't know the full details of it, and I can easily imagine a scenario that I find plausible in which he doesn't do anything I, or many others, would consider particularly wrong. As it has been pointed out many times, sexual offender laws are written in a way that it is very easy to be innocent of doing anything actually wrong, aside from being a straight man with a penis and a healthy amount of testosterone, and get labelled a sex offender. Jagex was right to distance themselves from that site and it is for the best that he is not an admin of it. However, one must wonder - what if he started posting anonymously on, say, tipit just as a RuneScape fansite? Because either he has done something so wrong that he probably shouldn't have unrestricted internet access period, and by unrestricted I mean not monitored by the cops (and not just monitoring his internet access either) or we simply allow him to have the sort of internet access in which he can easily come into contact with minors. There isn't an in-between. You can't tell him to just not go on sites where the primary audience is younger teens - after all, he wants to go on those fansites because of a legitimate interest in RuneScape. Also, I think the move that Jagex made was probably the best move for Jagex's interests. They can use it as PR to say, potential investors and/or concerned parents that Jagex doesn't stand for this stuff. It is unlikely that either of those circles would look into the matter with any detail.
