Honestly, getting something that beats Arma/Karils/D'hide seems plausible to me, at least if its a boss drop.

Might be useful on slayer, considering the ideal DPS set up is generally considered bandos and a fire cape, but on a slayer task there's a good chance you might need to swap something out in order to get a higher prayer bonus. Could be like WGS where they throw in a ton of quest reqs just for the sake of having a ton of quest reqs. Big one that comes to mind is WGS's MEP2 req. Either way, I got a questcape so I tend to skip over quest reqs :P Glad I have all the skills for it, altho tbh I decided to get 77 agility for the teaser; then I thought about it and realized it'd probably be a quest req too.

Yes. It is sexy. As for boss, I just spam-ran during blood splat phase, with the occasional potion drinking. Didn't try attacking much. Range wouldn't get me in more attacks; most useful it'd be would be for the bloodvelds tbh. Wish I knew about the shadow thing lol

OH, also, I'm disappointed that you can't get any of those baby bloodvelds as pets :(

I just logged on and I'm a vyrelord now. As for spells, blood/darkness fits as he's an evil vampyre. Ice seems kinda off... also, I'm pretty sure those spells are actually Mahjarrat Magick as opposed to Zarosian magick.

Lol I took tons of damage there. Took several tries before I was (mostly) able to avoid large damage via blood splats. Never managed to dodge shadow (I didn't realize I needed to change my view.) I just melee'ed the entire time. People say range so you can attack/run during blood splats but I barely do anthing but spam run during that, occasionally trying to drink a dose of brew or prayer pot. I'll try unequip/re-eqiup :) EDIT: Logged on and I'm a vyrelord not. Shweetness.

High alch is kinda useful and I always use house tabs to get anywhere; still, for combat we need surge spells and more importantly, they need to get rid of the necklace BS and the extra cost. I suppose teleblock/ice barrage/venge would be overpowered on the same spellbook :twisted: Internet I'll give you, but you don't need tele-grabs to pick up stuff. Granted it's a bit difficult with all the graves on one another. Also, I think this is a glitch, but I've maxed out my vyre status yet it still says I'm a vyrewatch. Also, I love how you can just start as a nobody and go up to a vyrelord in the space of a day; seems unrealistic but I just attribute it to having the backing of that vampyre chick.

Personally, I think you should do barbarian assault to charge the horn and train agility with the horn off of BXP, then do RC on bxp. This all depends on how much you like/hate BA as well as your ability to get a good team, possibly even a team just going rounds 1-5 to charge the horn the fastest.

I died like 5 times there last night lol. Beat it this morning. Worst death was a d/c RIGHT as he starts his blood splatter phase. SONOFA[bleep]. I log back on in Canifis with 4 minutes gone from my grave. There was also a scary death where I spawned with 300lp. Scary because the last thing I want to do is die right as I spawn and lose my grave. Also glad I had a few stewed overloads for that. Spammed brews for health. At one point I think I drank an overload while under the effect of an overload because my stats were really low. Probably didn't help much... I didn't keep track of my bouncing skill levels. Still, nice to have a tough fight. Also, I'm not a vyrelord, but it says my rank is maxed :( Thought: harpies = vyres = iceyenes? -mind[bleep]-

This. I'm what, the 3rd person to quote this post and agree with it? The new prayer pots might be useful for slayer depending on how they work. Glad I got the skills for this quest. Although in a way I did train for it, I got 77 agility because of the teaser.

I generally modify the view depending on what I'm doing. If I actual bother with an emote I'll change the view so I can see it :P And I think it is a bit of an optical illusion when one scrolls up and down faster over the vinesweeper image. And good luck with your goals :)

I'd say that's only part true. The main reason is that proper grammar isn't taken enough for people to fully understand these terms. Schools may just pour too much into other forms of education excluding grammar. When working on homework or taking a test, we usually have multiple choice (Idk about you guys) and are given the material to fill it out and not give a hoot if the work was done without proper grammar. That may be why people confuse the these words "you're" and "your" so often. Also, since we are so dependant on the internet as another form of communication, it gets even worse. Or, talking. Talking doesn't help you deal with homophones either. And to be honest, the only time it truly matters is on essays where you lose marks for getting it wrong... As long as recipient of the information understands what is being said, you have succeeded in your communications. Hell, I can't count the number of times that someones corrects themselves because of a typo that I didn't notice until they corrected said typo. Now, I'm not a supporter of things like leetspeak, typing u instead of you, lack of periods, lack of capitalizing the first letter of your sentence, lack of paragraphs in longer messages, I always try to spell my own words correctly and use correct grammar, but after a certain point it really doesn't matter because you can very easily understand what they are trying to say.
