14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat
Heavily implied by what? http://runescape.wikia.com/wiki/Bilrach [hide=quote] Bilrach did not attend to 18th Ritual of Rejuvination. This suggests that he is either dead, or much weaker due to not getting rejuvinated. If you speak to Ali the Wise after the Ritual of the Mahjarrat, he will discuss the strange power that occurred before Dungeoneering was released. He will confirm that the strange power was "A case of the wrong Mahjarrat being in the wrong place at the wrong time.." and that it was "Such a waste of power." In the quest Ritual of the Mahjarrat, when two other mahjarrat die, a similiar strange power occurs and lifts all humans present at the ritual. Ali the Wise also confirms this phenomenon, saying "When one of our kind dies, all that they were dissipates from their body." -end quote- So Bilrach finds what he's looking for in Daemonheim, but it is too powerful and it kills him (or he doesn't find it but something kills him anyway), this caused the strange power event and allowed us players to enter Daemonheim. [/hide] [/hide]But how powerful would Bilrach have to have been when he died for his death to be felt so far away? Do any of the seers say anything about feeling the ritual like what they did about the opening of daemonheim? And wasnt zaros's attempt to return to the world supposed to be kept quiet for now? So why did Azzandara start blasting away with god power and shouting zaros at the top of his lungs? Wouldn't that have tipped off the half dozen most powerful zammy followers and some of the stronger saradomin followers that something was up? [hide]Because when rejuvenated he could take on entire armies by himself, Azzanadra is easily the stronegest of them. See zemourgal's notes: they were scared to free him even after he was imprisoned for more than 4-5 rituals. With him at this power level Zaros' rebirth cannot be stopped. Btw since when can a mahjarrat die from a simple wound? I thought they were kinda, immortal? (except for the ritual)[/hide] [hide]I think it's safe to assume at this point that the dragonkin are not simply guardians of the Stone of Jas but something more. Their "rage" at its use, ability to sense who has used the stone, and track down its location (see Kethsi) suggests there is a strong, unique connection linking the two. Since we know the Stone is a powerful artifact that can give the user a number of abilities, it's not much of a stretch of the imagination that the dragonkin can call upon a vestige of that power and turn it against Lucien. Besides Azzanadra, who was suggested to be immortal when he was sealed up in his pyramid, none of the Majharrat have that ability. After all, one of them has to be sacrificed to die at each ritual.[/hide] [hide]The dragonkin get angry, more powerful and hurt when someone uses the Stone of Jas (besides Jas I suppose). Essentially they want to make the pain stop, so they kill whoever uses the Stone. It's possible that earlier users would face less powerful dragonkin. Saradomin, Zamorak and Guthix were probably powerful enough that they could escape the dragonkin. Also the dragonkin may actually allow gods to use the Stone, as they say Lucien isn't a god (after Lucien claims he is) and they call him a false user, though it's not clear if they mean he is a false user because he is a god. [/hide] Pretty sure anyone who uses the stone of Jas who isn't Jas is a false user tbh. So, 1 Dust + 1 Ess + 77 RC = 7 Armadyl runes. Question about Glacors: are they really weak to magic or just fire spells? (Guessing fire spells) Kinda curious how storm of Armadyl would work on them. Still, we'd need a 100% dust drop for it to be remotely effective, probably.

The new Akrisae Set at Duel Arena
Lol theres no way that is correct. (50+ mage attack) And restoring prayer would be awesome for slayer, but you need to use the crappy weapon for the effect so it's rather useless in practical terms. Just checked GE, it's wrong. Knew it was too good to be true XD

YEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS- Q
How easy are those new boots to get relative to TDs? I'd like some nice cash form the quest/stuff you can fight after quest. I'd also like to have done the quest, but my internet provider GF'ed my all afternoon. This is my attempting to rage earlier. You'll notice the lack of anything whatsoever. Can't rage on the interwebz when my interwebz is down -.-- It's Super Effective!
this is me doing the new quest: get to part of mosleharmless avoiding that crazy fireball thing (made it far the first time then got hit by a fireball that passed right through a tree. wtf.) next few tries didn't go so well. then I DC. this was about 2:30 in the afternoon, my time. wait for it.... wait for it.... keeeeeeep waiting because your internet provider had some sort of problem and you can't get any internet for the next 6 hours. GF. It's 7:00 now.- 14-Sept-2011 Ritual of the Mahjarrat

- Is Jagex trying to kill runescape?
BUT WHO WILL WIN IN THE DUAL ARENA@@@ Anyways, back on-topic (mostly so this post doesn't get deleted tbh) Jagex has no reason to kill RS. It's simply short-term money grabbing at the cost of the long-term health of the game. Cut back updates/servers if there is less interest. If RS is going to ever totally shut down, I think we'll see it a long way away.- /obt/
Wow. I put on jeans and a tshirt and call it a day.- Possible new weapons?
Um, you aren't the OP; my comment was more directed at the OP, who's idea these weapons are. Since he is apparently making these weapons overpowered to the point of game breaking, according to people who are able to look at a weapons stats/speed and determine it's exact combat capabilities, the OP should instead determine what he wants it's combat capabilities to be and get the help of someone who is good with those calculations to determine the approximate stats the weapons to achieve that. Personally, I wish Jagex would diversify monsters somehow so that different weapons are actually needed. Look at the chaotic weapons; they all actually have their uses, it's just that with the current way RS is, rapier has ended up being by far the best weapon.- Possible new weapons?
Um, just throwing it out there, you do know that most/all bows, especially on rapid, hit like twice as fast as mauls, right? Meaning twice as much potential damage? You know, rather then give weapon stats, I think it'd be better to give an idea of what you want the weapon to do; maybe state how fast you want the weapon and how it compares against chaotics (since you seem to want them better then chaotics) and let the people who make DPS calculations figure out what appropriate stats are. Also, if I could make weapons, I'd totally love to make, say, a bow with 999 stab/slash/crush/str bonus. lul- BXP Rollbacks

Indeed. I totally lost it with the "enhancing the truth" post. Philosophical question of the day: Is it botting if GLaDOS owns a Runescape account? Let's add to this. If perfect AI was created, and that program happened to play runescape, would it be a player AND/OR a bot? Would you want AI playing a game you created? Would you mind if characters you were playing with were AI? Well, I can tell you one thing, if you went on the account of said AI, that would be account sharing ;) I think the best answer would be that "an artificial intelligence or system is allowed to have it's own account; however, the "account sharing" rule is still in effect, meaning if you let someone else on your account you will be punished for it, irregardless of whether said "someone" is a form of AI or a real human." We'd also need some sort of rule/law saying that AI's get punished if they hack other players accounts; otherwise, a simple loophole to my solution is getting the AI to hack your account and level it for you. And it could potentially happen that the AI would decide to be nice to you, hack your account and level the crap outta it for you, doing it without your consent simply because then you've done nothing wrong. Only solution to that WOULD be rollbacks tbh; "if an AI is found to have gone on your account, your account will be indefinitely suspended while we rollback any potential gains the AI achieved for you and determine if you were responsible for the AI gaining access to your account."- It's Super Effective!

HP lowering armour is something you need to be really careful about, to prevent people from dying when they spawn from safe death or something...- It's Super Effective!
