Judging by your DG level, I'd say you should try and get the chaotic staff. It's a better weapon if you aren't casting SoA and you wouldn't be out 30m cash or whatever for a ABS. Just my opinion, depends on your opinion on DG and how much time 30m is worth to you.

Yeah, remove power needs that stupid amulet thing removed. But tbh, I think a spell that notes items will be more powerful then a pack yack if there aren't restrictions on the spell. With the pack yack, you still need to have the yack (so you can't use it indefinitely) and you have to wait for the familiar special bar to recharge or use a non-stackable consumable item.

Well, just remember to get a big enough sample size of each clan. Never know when you'll just happen to go with the 2 or 3 huge idiots that every clan probably has. Unless you're really selective about members, you can't eliminate it completely.
