It's Super Effective!
Once there was a harpie who had a magical sex organ that was larger than ltk's bank and he had tiny wings that couldn't kick Santa's ass. The end was neigh for Rudolph who clearly had a red nose and little confidence. "Hello there Armorare," said Rudolph as Zaaps looted his swiss bank account. "Wtf you [harpie]," Rudolph noticing that zaaps had little sexymonkeys in his deep back pockets, took out his oversized piece of bio-medically engineered chocolate and gave it to obt. He got his swag up in Kelsey and was like "wanna rub my non-harpie fake wing?" Kelsey just wanted to play RuneScape. Obt just lost the game trololol. Sadly the harpies decided to kill nex and her four robed [non-harpies]. Nex then dropped three harpy babies. those babies were Zaaps 2, Armorare 2, and Ke$ha. Feel better I don't think you can order him to do that. Unless you're a nurse or one of my former ass teachers. Harpies can't be told what to do. Anarchy! The harpie queen commands us all. Also, why do I not appear to have posted in like 3 pages. Shesh, and I was up till 5 in the morning working on a sociology assignment/roaming the boards. I seem to be the most active on the boards when no one else is. Kimberly (or can I call you Kimby for short?) doesn't wanna join Harpy court because she thinks she is too cool for harpy bling and stuff. She's just scared of Mr. Kitterson finally getting prosecuted for baking me into the Cake of Jas. Of course, what Mr. Kitterson didn't realize is that by stirking me down baking me into the cake of Jas I became more powerful then Mr Kitterson could possibly have imagined.- Adventuring the 'unplayable' F2P
I'm really enjoying the narrative and how you make it about the experience rather then just raw levels. Ought to make any RS player very nostalgic for back when they started. And just the relaxed pace which this takes is a nice change from the constant desire for attaining levels or GP you see elsewhere. Keep it up =D- Sumona Special Task: Kalphite Queen @ 90 Combat (Solo)
Yeah, Veracs is needed for solo KQ (except maybe for high levels with other pro gear, but that's irrelevant.) You either need to level (like, get at least 70 att/str/def for veracs), do multiple trips or get help.- soo mud runes?
Fastest way to find out the street price for some item you purchase en mass is to buy one at like 10x the med price and see how much you actually pay. Just offer like 5k or 10k for a mud rune and see how much you pay.- What If Jagex Allowed Players to Pay GP to Upkeep Citadels?
Because gathering resources in the citadels sucks and there are a number of people that would rather do anything than that? No pain, no gain. They shouldn't be a free ride, no matter what. Your getting an opportunity to skill with friends in your clan, getting free XP, to boot. Hard work and dedication pays off. Please. No pain, no gain. Guess what? There is no gain. The skilling exp isn't free, it costs time. Time you could probably use to gain more exp in a more efficient method, not to mention a less grindy method - higher levels of WC/Mining, which are the first two resources, are far more AFK-able and I'm pretty sure give more exp/h then the citadel The social aspect should be discarded imho, since you could just as well do an event with your friends that provides a much more tangible reward then the citadel, or one that requires far less effort. Frankly the way I see it, I support this. Why? Not because I think money should be a way out of citadel work, but because the current system sucks. Maybe some social clans have fun in there, but there are a significant amount of players who don't work on the citadel because it isn't worth it. Imo, Jagex either needs to make it worth it or make it easier to do. Paying money makes it easier to do. Hence my support. I'd just as quickly support changing the citadels so they only take like 15 minutes of work or giving some sort of good exp lamp if you max out (and perhaps lower the citadel exp rates to compensate.) Or I'd support making the citadels actually useful in some way. There's gain by way of XP that comes free, and the chance to skill with friends, with a community. Knowing that you and your friends have kept working and achieved a Tier 7 Citadel, with the best possible upgrades. That, in itself, is an achievement. That's a huge gain. Crafting offers a rather hefty amount of XP with the loom, too. Over 250k XP if you only do crafting. I know with the Citadel I'm training skills I wouldn't normally touch. I'm happy with that, very happy. I've gained 3 mining levels since the release of the Citadel. Mining is a skill I hadn't touched in probably two years. Each to their own, I guess. Exp does not come free. Exp comes at the cost of time and effort. My current clan citadel hasn't had much work on it and only has mining/WC available. If I wanted to train mining/WC I'd do ivies/lava flow mine/LRC. Much less constant attention required. I can't deny having a T7 citadel as an accomplishment. I was going to say that players seek rewards which affect them positively in other areas of the game, but then I realized that most skillcapes aren't useful outside of showing off, which at most leaves me with saying that clans with T7 citadels should have special capes or something. What I am curious about is the amount of clans that actually succeed in getting a higher level citadel VS clans that get stuck or even let the citadel fall to that disrepair state because members decide it isn't worth it. As much as I'd like to say that citadels are a failure because a large amount of clans don't bother with them because they aren't worth it, I have absolutely no way of knowing that. I still think we either need an easier way to level the citadel or more reward for the work we put in. But perhaps that's taking away from what citadels are supposed to be, an epic landscape for your clan to claim as their own and work on to improve for the sake of improving it.- What If Jagex Allowed Players to Pay GP to Upkeep Citadels?

To be honest, I think this summed it up nicely. Anyone who has an account worth stealing should know that. Clever, but still.- It's Super Effective!

Love the random items in there. 7 pie halves, 17 admiral pies, 2/3 of a chocolate cake, a random herb, plank, regular essence, gadderhammer... some of them might be explainable - gadder hammer is just a placehold item to mark the tab, the pies might be used for boosts... Chocolate cake doesn't boost any stats that I'm aware of. Regular ess is useless to a member unless they want to craft F2P runes, which the only reason for that is if they have a really low RC level. A random herb won't help complete an effigy either. Maybe a potion, but you can buy potions and it isn't directly used for effigies...- Logging in RIGHT AFTER the Login Server goes offline

Right, when I saw the 1 prayer Jad, I thought, hey, I've seen Jad killed w/0 prayer, then I realized a few seconds into the vid... right. 360s and everything else too. Gratz! Also, skill for killing jad w/o prayer, not just brute force and hoping for the best, which is what I've seen before.- go green for halloween
Well, at least this one is purely cosmetic, as opposed to the Katana which is an incredibly good weapon at the levels you can wield it at. Albeit those levels are extremely low anyways, but still. The Katana bugged me more. Also, a long time ago in a Q&A, Jagex mentioned they're against RWT for in-game benefits (which the Katana is debateable considering how low level of an item it is) but that selling purely cosmetic rewards is something that they aren't dead-set against. Still, I'd rather if I could just shell out 5 bucks through my visa to get this then be FORCED to buy a game card. Y'know, if I in any way wanted it. Well, been mentioned before, game-cards cost more because some of the money needs to go to the retailer for providing the game cards. Thus they are more expensive. This sort of thing in an attempt to justify a reason for paying the higher price for a game-card.
