You could get a better jump on someone by using a machine pistol and Last Stand. With the scrambler it leads you to an exact position of where the enemy is. If the frequency slowly increased while you stayed in a range of the person instead of the frequency increasing as you get closer then Scrambler would be effective.

I'm annoyed. Why couldn't we have the Poke Radar in HG and SS? Did they want shiny encounters to be completely random? I bet that while I'm training all of my Pokemon to 75 that I will not encounter 1 shiny.

As long as there is no Endless Eight I'm fine with a Haruhi clone. I'm down with this. It really does seem pretty good in its own right, too. Really, the only similarities this has with Haruhi is the leader girl and the entire group. Haruhi is about keeping an insane girl happy so she doesn't destroy the world and Angel Beats is about surviving in the afterlife because they don't want to take the chance of reincarnating into a barnacle..

My friends for some reason cling to the fact that Pokemon is only for kids. No matter what I tell them, the amount of tracking it takes to calculate IVs and EVs, determining what type Hidden Power will come out to be, determining crit rates, they still say that Pokemon is for kids but they can't give any reason for it. I blame the show for this madness.

I'm planning on taking the E4 a second time with this team: Feraligatr Lugia Noctowl Piloswine Golem Machamp Feraligatr should be able to take all of Will's pokemon with Crunch. Noctowl and Lugia can take Bruno and Koga. Machamp for Karen. Everyone else for whatever needs to be taken out for Lance. (I never have plans for the champion other than revive and heal everyone before the fight :razz: )

I think the only gym leader in Johto that gave me a problem was Clair because I didn't have anything to easily defeat Dragon types.

Used Rollout with me. <_< You just got lucky. I was worried she was nerfed with the Miltank being reduced from Lvl 21 to 19, but was still quite challenging. Only took 2 tries though. I think I used a combination of Machop and Geodude. Both level 20 I think.
