A Normal type doesn't help find rare pokemon. An advantegeous type will lower the step count to find a class A (!!!) Pokemon by 25%. I don't know where you heard that you need to reset to find another rare pokemon because the only class A pokemon in the Suburban Area are Magnemite (Common) and Elekid (Very Rare). Just keep trying, don't waste time by resetting. Normal type= Advatageous for Suburban Area. And I guess it's just my horrific luck biting me again. At least my pendulum makes watts quick to obtain. I know that, but it's not going to help since you already had 8K steps before you went in. But yeah, the gap between rate of Magnemite appearing over Elekid is huge so just keep trying. I'll try to find an Elekid for you tommorow if you don't find one by then.

I have 2 Totdiles for trade. I'm looking for Chikorita and Cyndaquil. I'll take any Chikorita but the Cyndaquil must not have the following natures: Careful, Jolly, Impish, or Adamant.

I remember doing an Explosion attack on one of the many Pokemon games (Can't remember if it was Stadium or Blue...) and I ended up losing even though we were both on our last pokemon and we both lost all of our HP because all effects happen before the end of the battle.
